2008’s Dozen: Favorite OPs
Since this year’s at its end and everyone’s writing up their 12 “bests” of this year, I’ll go different this time and write up the “bests” of this year in 12! Lol get it? XD… And my first “Dozen” list is regarding the OPs of this year!!!
2008 had been a great year for great anime, as well as their opening sequences. Now that the year’s ending, I’ll wrap up all of my most favorite, memorable, and awesome OPs of this year in a dozen!!! All of the OPs are from animes shown January 2008 to December 2008. Anime shown last year but still managed to continue broadcast in Japan on 2008 still qualifies. So here goes the dozen!!!!!!
Anime’s Next Top Model C2: 02 – The Girls Get FIERCE.
For the second photoshoot, the girls settle down underwater to pose in accordance to having a FIERCE contact to the camera using their eyes. It’s all about smiling with your eyes! Not only the eyes are the part of the photoshoot, for they could also experiment with their hands and legs. It’s all about endurance underwater, creativity and most of all, FIERCENESS!!! And the result: A haunting yet fabulous acid-grunge inspired photo shoot!
Anime’s Next Top Model C2: 1st Elimination
This is the very first elimination of Anime’s Next Top Model cycle 2!!! Which girl will be the first one to pack her bags and leave this early at the competition? Last time, we opened this cycle as the girls do a photoshoot regarding Global Issues. Which girl will get her problem solved? Which girl will go down as the first to go home?
New Banner: musique d’hiver

Well, music somewhat inspired me these past few days so I decided to make a music-related one without losing its winter/Christmas touch. The result is a Nodame Cantabile banner!!! I chose brown tones because it really looks warm and yummy. “musique d’hiver” means “winter music” ^_^ (I even checked freetranslations xD). My favorite part of my banner is the piano keys effect and the G-clef-inspired text backdrop. Yeah Kairu, I’m also learning the piano XD…
Also on a random note, another thing that inspired me to do is my new bob haircut ‘ala Nodame. It’s the shortest hair I ever had (well, since my baby days XD) because I always kept it long ever since then. If I had been emo on my previous banner, I had move on to that (the new hair speaks for it!!!) THE REBEL HAMSTER IS HERE XD!!!

So much anime to watch out for on Spring next year.
- Fullmetal Alchemist anime is confirmed for April 2009
- Sequel to Kiniro Corda -primo passo-, Kiniro no Corda -second passo- is confirmed to air on Spring. Three new bishies are introduced in the official site.
- Nodame Cantabile 3rd season is confirmed to air on Fall 2009
- CLAMP’S Kobato. will be getting an anime adaptation on Spring 2009. Direction by Masuhara Mitsuyuki, composition by Ookawa Nanase, character design by Katou Hiromi, animation production by MAD HOUSE.
- New BEE TRAIN anime titled Phantom -Requiem for the Phantom- is confirmed.
- Kawamori Shouji’s recent upcoming work BASQUASH! is confirmed to be a TV anime for 2009. Character designs by Yoshimatsu Takahiro, production by Satelight.
- Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo’s former staff will be working on a new animated theatrical feature titled Summer Wars. [Newtype]

Yeah, lol. If you have noticed it, there’s falling snow now on my site XD. I was reallycurious at first on how Kairu and Kitsune had snow falling on their blogs. Now, I jumped in the wagon and sprinkled some on to Metanorn as well XD… It’s really nice IMO because I could at least experience snow here even though it’s a tropical country T.T…
Btw, new banner!!! I must say that this is a REALLY weird banner because I put it up on upside down. Well, there’s a really deep personal meaning to it why I did that XD… And also, it adds to the effect of the falling snow. It’s looks like the snow falls upside down from the ground O_O… Hell yeah for mystery and weirdness. The wallpaper is from Kanon and credits to Animepaper.net ^_^…
