Fosh I wonder if we have flying cars in 2039?! Or did that virus from 2029 screw those plans up? So anyway we have Production I.G. producing and we have Music by supercell? Sounds like they picked the best of two worlds for those areas. And this is a first for me to actually be following the original character designer Redjuice on Deviant art, I have been following him for a while now so that’s really amazing to see him getting some love for an anime series. Interesting how Ohma Shu can pull weapons from his friends with his magical right hand and of course I can’t forget that hand. I wonder if each type of person makes different weapons? Sure sounds like a familiar way of attacking. Now for the voice actors! Right away I recognized the heavy hitter, Kana Hanazawa! She will be in another series I’m going to be watching?! Well that’s fine she does need more money right? And Yuuki Kanji, I only know him as Walker from Durarara!! and Sion from No.6; I guess he is going to be the next guy in every other anime. And Ai Kayano aka Hibano from Kamisama Dolls and Isana from Yumekui Merry; she’s popping up a lot lately! Sure is nice to see some new lead actors taking up the main roles.

Kyokai
You already had my interest at “unidentified virus outbreak ‘Lost Christmas’ in 2029” with a boy, who has the mysterious power “Ability of King” in his right hand. A title produced by the sixth section of Production I.G (Kimi ni Todoke/ Sengoku Basara)? I eat and breath their titles so this was a must check out for me. But then you throw ‘supercell’ and noitaminA at me… I’m breathless from the amount of excitement people! Though the latter doesn’t mean that it’s going to be a quality show (Fractale & C, anyone?). The Staff has it’s charms from Death Note, Code Geass and even some part of HOTD so it would definitely be interesting to find out more about these “Undertaker” mecha pilots who fight against the government. Inori having a singing voice would come to use I think, while the anime runs (check out that brilliant PV to get your mind blown) with music from ryo and Sawano Hiroyuki (Zombie Loan, Gundam Unicorn, Sengoku Basara and Ao no Exorcist), my ears are ready for some HNNG-worthy melodies.
Jrow
There’s star power here. Production I.G. on animation, Supercell on music, Redjuice on character designs, Death Note director Tetsuro Araki and Code Geass story composer Ichiro O kouch are involved. You had me at I.G., Guilty Crown, and then you kept getting more enticing! This series airing on noitaminA is perhaps the most impressive and anticipated series this Fall, and the PV shows off the excellent key animation with some rather sexy character designs and mecha-esque themes. Judging from what we’ve seen, we know I.G. and Redjuice are bringing it big time. All that’s left to see is if the story can produce, and with the series being two cour, I am so pumped up for this series!

My excitement from when I first head of this anime was at it’s peak until I found out that it wasn’t coming out until fall. Yes, I was actually supposed to be blogging this last spring but some curse has befallen me that the animes I sign up for end up being pushed back. But behold! It is finally here. Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon (Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere) takes place in the far future of Japan. Now we wouldn’t be expecting this future to be filled with cyborgs and the advancement of prolonging the human life but a future filled with war. Of course this war would be over land. Earth was abandoned by humans who advanced to a upper world called Tenjou. Due to the collapse of laws and war, the humans return to Earth, which has become inhabitable save for an area called Shinshu. However, this area cannot contain all the humans, so a duplicated area called Juso Sekai was created in a parallel world and the people work to rebuild Tenjo by reproducing history. However, in the reproduction stage, a war breaks out, which causes Juso Sekai to fall and more war breaks out. As well, apparently it is up to a group of students to save the world.

Now, I’m unsure what to really follow about the plot to this anime but I do say, either way it’s all interesting enough. To make it all even better, Sunrise is the producers of this and we can throw in the awesome Jun Fukuyama with Daisuke Ono and we’ll have Hime fangirling like you’ve never seen before (see below). But with that aside, the trailers give me a RPG game type feel and the animation is decent enough. I’m unsure about the creepy smiling guy but we can counter that with the mass amount of girls with their big boobs. I guess you can tell who this anime is targeted to even though there will be action, mecha and what not. So, all I hope from this anime is a great story despite the lack of bishies.

// COMMENTS
I have so many reasons to watch this anime. First is, OF COURSE. Daisuke Ono And Fukuyama Jun. NNNGGGHHH. Second, I’ve always liked stuff like this, a feudal era that’s mixed with modern tech, where there’s always ALWAYS a certain city that has to enter the war just for the sake of the people. Then dun dun~ instead of adults saving the day, bunch of teenagers are the ones that will save the country. Haha I sound as if I’m making fun of the story. Third is….um…nothing? Well I can’t say anything about this anymore, since I’m not expecting something big from the staff. They’re bunch of people with some titles that did not fail to bore me to death. But hey, the music coordinator is Tatsuya Katou. And the music in Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls, Seikon no Qwaser, Katanagatari, and Requiem of the Phantom are pretty good. YES, I ADMIT, I’VE WATCHED SEIKON NO QWASER AND I LOVE THE MUSIC. NOW SHUSH.
Sunrise + Jun hasn’t steered me wrong before. I won’t expect another Code Geass but I’m still optimistic. I BELIEVE IN YOU, HUSBANDO! Nevertheless the overload of female characters with massive boobs is such a put off. It also looks very generic with not much substance to it. Still, I’ll take the high road and try not to let my preconceptions make me sour on it before I’ve even seen it. At least Jun plays someone pretty, that’s something to cling desperately to if it all goes pear-shaped.

Oh my god more Gundam!? Hell ya! I am very excited about this new Gundam series, well those character designs are really different for any Gundam I have ever seen before but I think it’s great to see them taking a risk trying something new on the design side of things. This time around, it’s the year A.G. (Advanced Generation) 101 (several hundred years after humans migrated to space colonies), when an Unknown Enemy (UE) GAFRAN attacks the space colony Angel and destroys it. The calamity and the huge loss of life became known afterward as “The Day the Angel Fell From the Skies.” Like with any Gundam series out there we have a peaceful colony just chilling and suddenly they get mixed in a war that breaks out around them and a young Flit Asumo builds Gundam AGE, the memory unit of which was left by his mother. Naturally, Flit has to fight other pilots to save the universe. Yes, this might be the plot most fans have seen over and over with every Gundam series they can pump out; however, I find myself getting really excited to see all of the various styles of suits and personalities of the pilots. Because one thing we all know throughout the many years of Gundam is that they have shown us some great pilots to love and hate; even if some of them have a few screws loose.

On the Directing side of things we have Susumu Yamaguchi, I only cringed at his work on Gundam Seed and Destiny just because the stories felt really weak so fingers crossed for things do not turn all Seed on us too early. Now on to the voice cast, which has some instant stand out actors, we have Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Flit Asuno the lead character, you may know him more as Mikado Ryūgamine from Durarara!!; next on this amazing list of actors we have someone who could fit well in any mecha universe, Aya Endo, playing Emily Armond, most people would recognize her as Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier; next up is Metanorn favorite Daisuke Ono as Wolf Eniakuru. What? Two Durarara characters in one series?! Thank you! In case you forgot him, his latest work would include Yondaime from Kami-sama no Memo-chō and Huey from Dantalian no Shoka.

Ness Oh man, another Gundam series. It’s so hard to keep up with them nowadays unless there’s hawt bishies in it *cough*Gundam 00*cough*. But yeah, seems like the typical Gundam plot of a kid being thrust into a war with mechas involved. But hey, lets make it even cooler where the kid holds the secret to Gundam and actually works to build it and heck lets even let him pilot it. Now that is one badass kid, but let’s just hope that he isn’t one of those low self-esteem types that we usually see out of some main characters given a big responsibility to shoulder. As for other things, the character designs look pretty decent but it doesn’t have that older kid feel like Gundam 00 but more of a Gundam Unicorn feel for the designs. Then again, the story seems to revolve around kids and we have to keep that in mind when viewing this. As for the Gundam designs, pretty cool with sticking to the original MSG design feel to it. I’ll be checking this out probably after the series is complete.

At first I got excited since it was like Professor Layton, but less British. (BITCHES DON’T KNOW I LOVE PUZZLES). Don’t life-risking puzzles sound like the perfect mix of brain and brawn? Pure puzzles would just be filled with exposition on how to solve the puzzle, and that’s no fun to watch. However, with the shounen element thrown in, there’s room for a lot more dynamics. It sounds great, but after watching the trailer I realized the art style reeks of generic shounen that miraculously came up with a good concept to somehow propel the stereotypical characters forward. I’m a bit torn. The main protagonist is Kaito, who’s a freshman at the “Root Academy” (private high school). He is selected as a candidate for “Phi Brain” for his extraordinary mental skills. As a beginner he defeats the “philosopher’s puzzle,” a life-threatening creation of a mysterious intelligence group known as “POG.” He’s given the title of “Solver”, and together with his girlfriend Nonoha, Kaito starts his battles with POG.

Sunrise usually brings us the good stuff in terms of art (just look at Code Geass), but they seemed to be focusing more on emulating the style of the manga than making it look good. I can only hope the art is the only weak point and that the seiyuu and director bring this creature to life. Junichi Sato (Aria, Princess Tutu, Tamayura) usually doesn’t disappoint, although I’ve only really seen his more laid-back works. I wonder just how he tackles more action-based shows. As for the seiyuu, no complaints here. I’d cross a desert just to hear Akira Ishida (Hakkai, Xellos, Coemushi) or Miyano Mamoru (Death the Kid, Okabe Rintarou) whisper in my ear. I know Hime would do the same for Fukuyama Jun (Yukio Okumura, Shinra Kishitani). Other notable seiyuu include Keiji Fukuwara and Kouki Miyata, whose nasal-y voice shall always hold a special place in my heart.

// COMMENTS
Hime The biggest puzzle yet to be solved is why Jun hasn’t fired his agent yet /pun. Still, I’m all for him in major role status (big shock). And he’s called GAMMON, lmao. Delicious. Another Sunrise + Jun team up, well I have to say from the trailer I’m not so impressed. I think it has potential, but whether or not they can realize it is a different matter. The director hasn’t been involved with anything I’ve really seen/heard of so I’m going into this one pretty blind.
OH LORD PUZZLES. These character designs look so damn Yugioh like! We have funky hair and puzzles? Ahahaha poor Jun! Why does he always do crap roles? But I can tell there are some out there just dying to see this right? These names are cracking me up Gammon, Luke Banjo and Cubic G… LOL!

A complete reboot of the Hunter x Hunter anime, starting all the way back at chapter one of the manga, when the main characters get their license to become a Hunter, an honourable title given to someone who hunts down monsters, treasure and generally takes on any tough job a normal person couldn’t do. The main examinees are Gon (cheerful boy who wants to be follow his father’s footsteps), Leorio (a klutzy yet bright man who wants to become a doctor), Kurapika (a kind hearted soul with a dark past), and Killua (a childish boy who inherited an amazing array of assassination skills from his family). The examination is quite hard, and only a selected few can pass. Once they do, they’re free to travel all over the world and face-off against anyone they want with their incredible powers.

I’ve been a huge fan of the manga for a long time, but never really wanted to try the anime. The animation looked outdated, and it was just really daunting to watch all those episodes about something I had read in half the time. This reboot is a dream come true. Trust me, we’re in good hands with Madhouse (Redline, Samurai Champloo, Tatami Galaxy) as well. I’m sure it will surpass the original so much in terms of animation that those who saw the first series will watch this new one, even though it’s the same events yet again. I hope this becomes a long-running series too, seeing as the manga is well past 300 chapters. I would appreciate that, because Yoshihiro Togashi (Yu Yu Hakusho, Level E) is known for getting sick and then suddenly getting really lazy with his artwork. There’s an arc of about 50 chapters that look like he drew it with his non-dominant hand, and it’s kind of dreadful. The anime would really, really fix that. Did I mention the seiyuu are top notch as well? Mariya Ise (Stocking Anarachy, Ringo Noyamano), Miyuki Sawashiro (Celty, Saeko Busujima), and Namikawa Daisuke (Abe, Okazaki Tomoya) are all winners in my book. It’s gonna be good.

// COMMENTS
Pardon me for saying something you’ve likely seen or heard already, but the idea that this series is getting “Brotherhood’d” by Madhouse is really intriguing to me. I never watched the original series and am personally unfamiliar as to how faithful that anime was to the manga, but the fact that Madhouse is in charge of animating this thing has me excited to see how they handle all of the action sequences.
I have a very limited experience with Hunter X Hunter, I remember I looked at the original anime a long time ago I just can’t place my finger on when. This series might end up on our fun Meta Jump issues! Well maybe, I will have to watch this reboot and give it another shot it sounds great people hunting monsters?! Anyone remember Monster rancher? Ahahaha.

Trailer: No official trailer has been released

I was quite pumped about this after reading the summary, though while completing the available information, I found this at the ‘Frozen’ category on moonphase, so I’m not really sure if it’s even releasing this Fall but we can hope because I’ve already heard a lot about the original manga by Inoue Tomonori. It has military theme centered around a nuclear catastrophe in Tokyo. After which it becomes a ghost town due to the high level of radiation. However, on receiving a distress signal from there, three high school girls are sent to this dead city as a special forces unit, codenamed Coppelion, in the 3rd Division of Japan’s Ground Self-Defense Force. You would ask, how the hell these girls would save themselves from radiation because no school uniform you know is radiation free these but days but maybe in future? Naah! These girls are genetically engineered in being impervious to radioactivity since birth. So, they are all good. I would love it if Madhouse animates this and we have Noto Mamiko as the main lead but that’s just me wishing things off. We’ll keep you updated with more news as we get ‘em!
// COMMENTS
And yet again another season with the adaption of a manga I’ve read before. Normally I’m deathly afraid of these futuristic, post-disaster scenarios, but Coppelion seemed too interesting to pass up, especially with the nuclear plant meltdown situation and the girls not needing protection from the radiation for some reason. I’m quite excited for this, mainly because I need some more action anime in my life. Hopefully they won’t make the three girls too girly, or fanservice-y, or else they’d definitely kill it…
Girls with super powers! Where is my Toaru in this title?! I think the girls must have amazing skin to protect them from all the radiation, maybe we will get a bit of Yuri I mean three girls together? Something is bound to happen. Not sure how much “action” we will actually get unless the girls actually have some sort of power to fight monsters with.

Aah, I remember you tweeting about it and here it is. Thank you for the wait! ^^ We take our time in collecting all the info because releasing reviews without complete information is just no good and does justice to the title being covered.

    • Foshizzel says:

Hell ya to Mirai Nikki! I can’t wait to see that, but I have a feeling it will be soooo censored like BloodC And Deadman wonderland with so many shadows and great big beams of light….

IKA MUSUME 2! CANT WAIT AHHH!! xDD

Guilty Crown! Yes please! That looks so good, I will bet money it probably will be the hit of the fall season with all those great designs and music.

Why thank you! We put a lot of time into this 😀

  4. Junko says:

    • Kyokai says:

Good list and LOL! You should match up with some old shows to balance out your current watch list. ^^

      • Junko says:

Funnily enough I’m actually going to be watching the original Macross series along with this season. I think they might just be old enough XD

    • Jrow says:

We can expect better from DEEN on Hatsukoi, but I’m keeping my expectations slightly above minimum.

    • Foshizzel says:

Hells ya Junko! Guilty Crown for the winnnnnnnn and Fate/Zero,Working!! and Shana three! xD

  5. baka_girl says:

*take a deep breath after reading the suuuuuuuper long review* lol
Just reading it takes almost one hour, can’t imagine how long the team has been working on this. Thank you so much for the hard work! <3

Aww, I'm so happy that there's lots of promising show this season. Currently interested in Guilty Crown, Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, Gundam AGE, Phi Brain, Un-Go, Persona 4, Mirai Nikki, Fate/Zero, Shakugan no Shana III, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi 2 and Hotarubi no Morie. That's quite a lot coming from me :))
Might cut down this list after watching first episode though :p

    • Kyokai says:

Thank you for the kind words! Everyone really worked hard in making this a reality. We have been preparing since last month. xD

Hahaa, we’ll see how much you end up seeing but definitely, there’s no shortage of good shows this season. ^^

    • Foshizzel says:

-hands you a paper bag- ;D

Thanks! Indeed it was a long process but worth the wait! Good work everyone course we always do our best for the readers.

Yep I am looking forward to Guilty Crown,Gundam Age,Horizon,Mirai Nikki, Fate/Zero and Shana three too! Lots of great anime soon! Fall is going to be a great one.

  6. Joojoobees says:

Hourou Mousuko (special): I finally got around to watching the series last week. I had to wait because my old computer had serious problems with video, and the very pale colors of the art style meant I could barely tell what was going on. The pale watercolor style looks great (now that I have a new computer), and is very appropriate. For a show that seems like it would be intense and angst, it actually isn’t. I mean, yeah the kid gets bullied and stuff, but actually it is much more subdued than one would expect. I think this gave it a sense of realism that I wasn’t expecting. I’ll check out the special, since I’m caught up.

Chihayafuru: Yeah! This is my prediction for best show of the season.

    • Kyokai says:

I agree on the intensity. They talk about some serious stuff quite mildly. No violence except for some bullying and bitching. Seen in a marathon, Hourou Musuko is much better than waiting for it every week.

And three cheers for Chihayafuru. This should be a total win!

  7. Kitty says:

AWESOME SAUCE!!! I’ve been waiting soooo long for this!!! Picking next season’s watches is always a process. But I love all your reviews and the trailers really help. No one does it like Metanron. Here is too another rocking anime season.

    CHEERS!

    Most looking forward too:
Fate/Zero, Gundam Age, Bakuman S2 and Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi 2. Watching a few others but those are the big kickers.

    • Kyokai says:

Thank you, Kitty-chan! We love doing it for our readers. ^^

Also, a mecha fan? Say HI to Fosh and Jrow as these two fanboy it to the limit. xD

    • Jrow says:

Thanks so much! It’s like how Carly Simon sings it.

I have faith in F/Z being great and Hatsukoi should be more of season 1 goodness, and I’m interested to see what Age brings to the table.

      • Kitty says:

I really just can’t wait to hear Takano go Huh?! again.

I think I might add Last Exile to the list, thou I haven’t see the first one.

Also Hi Fosh and Jrow =^_^= yay for mecha backed fun!

        • Foshizzel says:

Oh yes you should try to watch some Last Exile! Really good stuff xD and -wave- YES! Finally a season of mecha! Wooooooooooo hooooooo!

    • Foshizzel says:

      Ahahah thanks! 😀

Fate/Zero looks great! Can’t wait to see some more of Saber and Rin <3 Gundam Age might take a while to actually get into with those character designs, but I love gundam so I can look past that for now.

  8. Vivi says:

Soooo much info, amazing!! I think I might actually start recognizing VAs with your format XD

And OMG Sayanoara Zetsu Sensei, Hourou Mousuko, Usagi Drop, & Kimi ni Todoke specials! *_*

Anaaga’s reaction to Sekai-something something was cute haha

    • Kyokai says:

I’m a VA fangirl through and through so it’ll be all my pleasure if you start recognizing them due to my reviews. XD

Too many titles to check out, yeah!

    • Foshizzel says:

hahah yep I am with you to Vivi one day I will have the names of all the actors memorized! Somehow….

  9. BlackBriar says:

Whoa, this season is packed. It’s almost like summer again.

I saw the Guilty Crown trailer and even though I haven’t seen much of Code Geass, it reminds me of that with Index/Railgun parts.

I’m also in to check out Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle, Fate/Zero, Persona 4: The Animation, Maji de Watashi ni Shinasai, C3: Cube X.

As for Hunter x Hunter, I never saw the original version but it still looks interesting.

A third Shakugan no Shana? Damn!!! I haven’t even seen the first two. Time to catch up.

A Deadman Wonderland OVA. I might give this series a second opinion depending on how it plays out. The madness, blood and gore were on the mark but the main character has yet to prove himself. I mean, Ganta actually looks tougher in this picture and I’m itching to see Shiro and Minatsuki go wild again.

That Infinite Stratos OVA is next on the list along with that Ao no Exorcist special.

This season’s gonna be busy but gonna help us burn a the the way to winter season.

    • Kyokai says:

Oh hell yeah! I want to see everything! Well, almost~

Guilty Crown seems to be the top pick because of the star-studded staff. I mean, would you look at those names. Same goes for Fate/Zero, Un-Go, Persona, Phi Brain and Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon. I say something for everyone but yeah, a warning for Shana, it’s a typical tsundere girl going shut up all the time. Not sure if it has enough ‘plot’.

      • Jrow says:

In regards to Shana, I’ve never seen it, but from what I’ve read from steev and also other places is that Shana is kind of the basis for which most of today’s tsunderes are based off of. He’s actually excited about the series which surprised me a good bit.

      • BlackBriar says:

I don’t really mind tsunderes. I survived Bakemonogatari’s Hitagi and Kore Wa Zombie’s Sera and Haruna. And they are as tsun as they come.

What I really want to see first is Guilty Crown but we gotta wait untill October. I should have known. The Hanazawa virus has even gotten this upcoming series. She’s really branching out. Then there’s Persona 4 and Fate/Zero. They look really wild.

And not to forget Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon with Jun Fukuyama in the cast. Hime and other Fukuyama fangirls are gonna be all over that. They should have another anime with big time VA. Ao no Exorcist was a breeding ground for three kinds of viruses: Jun Fukuyama, Nobuhiko Okamoto and the infectious Hanazawa virus.

    • Foshizzel says:

Yeah lots of great looking shows! So amazing to the line up with mecha for once.

True about guilty crown it does look a bit like a “Railgun/index” type of series which sounds great to me xD

  10. Blackholeheart says:

First off, girls and guys of Metanorn you deserve a standing ovation for this season preview, every other blog should not bother to write one and just provide a link back to this. Seriously outstanding job. I am however worried about Kyokai, with all she’s got on her plate, one of these days her head is going to straight up explode! Of course that won’t stop her and we’re all going to have to chip in and buy her a yellow motorcycle helmet with built in nekomimi and those aren’t cheap you know!

I do have a bone to pick with you all though, before reading this I was fretting over having 12 shows in my want to watch list, now I have 22. And 8 OVA’s. On top of Fringe, Supernatural and Terra Nova in USA tvland! orz >.<

Again thank you for the fantastic work though, I'm so hyped to enjoy this amazing season with all of you!

    • Kyokai says:

Where should I even begin? I laughed like mad after reading this comment and thank you SO MUCH for your kind words and worrying about my head. LOL, Celty fits so well here. xD

Also, rest assured, I’ll be watching Fringe and Supernatural too along with all the above anime. It’s gonna be tough but reviews are there to check out and then sift the crop for better ones.

Let’s have an awesome season, YEAHHHH! xD

    • Jrow says:

I know what ya mean with having so many shiny new shows to watch. I don’t have the US tv shows, but as a sports fan I have to find extra time to wiggle these shows around football games and whatnot.

Thanks so much! The first half of October will be crazy busy for us getting out first impressions and such.

  11. Raph says:

Just to echo the comments above, thank you for such a complete season preview that’s beautiful-looking to boot! The amount of information here is extraordinary and the links to websites, information about people involved, etc. are extremely useful too. Awesome job!

    • Kyokai says:

Thank you, Raph! Much appreciate it.

Also, I see you share the Yamada love, nyaa~ xD

    • Foshizzel says:

Thanks Raph! It was a lot of work and fun to finally get this done and out to everyone to read! Yeah thanks to Ness and Kyokai for working on the shiney graphics.

  12. TSRL says:

    Just real quick.
    @Kyokai
You did a little mistake on page 9:
Sunrise and Production I.G. are not both doing Guilty Crown. Only I.G. and the one missing for Sunrise is Gundam AGE. You though nobody would notice eh?? XDD
You can count on this redly-suspiciously Gundam fanboy to correct you XDDD

  13. Reaper says:

All I have to say is wow, so many things to expect from the coming Fall, though I’m in agreement that Fate/Zero is at the top of the list. Returning cast as well as new members with the darker story in the background compared to the (relatively) lighthearted Fate/Stay-night. P4 though comes second but there are A LOT of new shows I have not heard of that I’m genuinely excited for…now I shall begin bouncing in my chair in glee…:)

    • Kyokai says:

Fate/Zero, HELL YEAH! *Metafist* I have never been this excited about an anime before… Well, Nisemonogatari comes near enough but you catch my drift. xD

Persona 4 is making me crazy with their new PVs as the days go by. Not to mention so many shows to check out. It’s definitely going to be an eventful season, this one.

  14. Miyu says:

!!! Thank you so much for creating such a comprehensive (and pretty) season preview post 😀 I am in awe of (and eternally grateful to) the Metanorn Team (Y)

I am so excited for Fall with approximately 7 series I’m looking forward to catching 8D 8D
…The only thing is that I only can start watching after my End of Year Exams end on 10 October so I. HAVE. TO. RESIST. T T

    • Jrow says:

That’s so awesome to see you write that! So glad you really enjoyed the preview.

Fall’s looking pretty good. I’m not sure what my personal count of shows is, but each season this year I’ve underestimated the number, so it might hover between 5-10.

    • Foshizzel says:

You are welcome! This was really a lot of work but amazing job team xD

Nice!! I have lost count on the series I will end up watching….probably a little of everything for me 😀

  15. umi_no_mizu says:

wooot new season! Looks pretty decent too =D

Looking forward to Phi Brain; Kami no Puzzle, HunterxHunter, and kimi to boku… Also going to continue on with bakuman, working, shinryaku ika mumsume and sekai-ichi hatsukoi =P

once again, very nice work on the review-ness =)

    • Jrow says:

Very appropriate that you say review-“ness” since Ness did an amazing job with the design as is usually the case. 🙂

    • Foshizzel says:

Yes! Lots of exciting things to watch soon!

I am interested in HunterxHunter! And Ika Musume <3 <3 I missed that series I need my comedy fix.

      LOL Yepp so much review-ness!

    • Ness says:

And every time a review comes out, I disappear right after it’s publish for a vacation xD

Thanks! (even though I’m unsure if that review-ness was even meant for me) :3

  16. fathomlessblue says:

I went into this summary thinking the only shows worth my time were Working!!, Persona 4, Guilty Crown and Last Exile, yet now I’m more excited with Tamayura and Coppelion. I hope the later does actually air this season!).

Oh, and more Kimi ni Todoke means more Ayane = Win Win Win!!!

  17. Carla says:

I’ve been Waiting for this post!
THANK YOU for creating a comprehensive season preview post for retarded people like me ♥

  18. anaaga says:

Oh god Kyokai I love Tales of Symphonia how could you say that ;___; But it’s releasing in the winter anime season, so it’s good that you didn’t put it in the list.
By the way, I looooveeee Tales of Symphonia. You know what this means *hint hint*

And that Natsume twins thingy? I thought it would be about bunch of girls, but it’s actually about bunch of guys. Has lots of yaoi pairing potentials. Will watch for the gheyness

    • Kyokai says:

      What did I say?! =P
Tales of Symphonia is getting so many OVAs like every season, we can’t cover it every time. =P but you are always welcome to cover it. 😉

And about Kimi to Boku., I always thought it would be awesome if someone made the guys’ version of K-On! and look at this, our time is made. xD

  19. Alynn says:

    Love the new layout!

    The only think I hate about fall is the lack of time I have for watching anime. D;

    Definitely watching:
    Show ▼

Fall is looking great so far!

    • Foshizzel says:

I love the layout too! Very cool xD

Trueeeeee some can watch anime all day!

Nice list I can’t wait for Guilty Crown, Working!!, and Mirai Nikki those seem like really fun shows to watch this season. Fingers crossed for Mirai Nikki not to be censored to much due to all the BLOOD…

  20. Moni Chan says:

OMG YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you so much. Fall is the season for awesome anime. There’s like 6 animes airing on my birthday. CRAZYNESS I TELL YOU CRAZYNESS!

Im so happy that Bakuman is getting a 2nd season. The manga is so interesting. As well as all the other animes getting another season.

Detective Conan i love that show. All I need to do to catch up is watch more then 500 episode before october. Maybe I should just start watching the movies.

the animes are just so amazing I sooooo cant wait.

    • Foshizzel says:

You are welcome!!! Fall is looking amazing so many great looking shows, ooooh Happy early birthday! I know last year Kore wa Zombie desu ka? Came out on my bday too well a day before ahaha

WOW And I thought a series like One piece was huge xD

      • Moni Chan says:

        ahhh thank you
lol actually the ones that are airing on my birthday are a day early 2. I still say it’s my birthday kuz the subs come out a day later, hopfully. >_<

    • Karakuri says:

      Happy early birthday!

I want to get into Conan. I really do, but 600 episodes seems like a hell of a lot XD. Good luck with that!

    • anaaga says:

      DROP DROP DROP CONAN
Not that I hate it, and I HAD the manga. But since it’s not even done until NOW, I decided to stop. It’s making me broke

      • Moni Chan says:

lmao I always wonder when it will end. it’s been on since around the time I was born. I haven’t hit 100 episodes and I’m on the 13th volume (and counting), but im not going to give up. i might just stick to the manga it’s faster.
