What?! A yaoi-fested sci-fi with aliens? Wait till anaaga hears of this. Though, don’t run amok because this is shounen-ai and the art has a huke styled appeal, which if matured can go places. This OAD is helmed by Soubi Yamamoto, a project for the CoMix Wave Film literally translating to “That Boy Can Fight Aliens”. According to the story, the “Sekai (World)” has been under attacks by aliens for some time. One day, Arikawa (staff member of the provisional headquarters for the invading aliens), finds a high school boy Kakashi, who he finds on a hill with his memory lost (John Doe, anyone?). Kakashi starts bunking with Arikawa and his boss Shiro along with kicking some major alien ass with his special powers. Kakashi gradually gets used to the strange life but the relationship among the three strains when he loses his motivation to fight the aliens.

The 21-year-old Yamamoto was inspired to work in anime from watching Makoto Shinkai’s 2002’s Voices of a Distant Star when she was a 15-year-old in middle school; coincidentally, CoMix Wave Films released many of Shinkai’s works. The official website describes it as a “pitiful and beautiful adolescent story.” The anime stars Ryohei Kimura (Eden of the East, Natsume Yūjin-Chō) as Kakashi, Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Durarara!!) as an anti-alien forces member named Arikawa, and Daisuke Hirakawa (Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, School Days) as Arikawa’s superior and Kakashi’s guardian Shiro. The project features a theme song by Akiko Shikata (A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives, Umineko no Naku Koro ni), whom Yamamoto requested personally to work on the project. You can see a sample of her work here from Sekai Kei Sekai Ron, Yamamoto’s 2010 work which was featured on the show Digista Teens.

Alien invasions and people running around with super powers? Hmmmm sounds kind of interesting but if all the dudes make out with each other WHO WILL SAVE THE WORLD?! TELL ME! AHHHHHHH!! Yep Agreed Kyokai lost memorys? Seriously anime producers quit using this as a plot device! ARGGG Then again…we could blame aliens abducting people…for “science” Hell if I can survive the kissing in No.6 I might watch this…MAYBE.
Did someone say aliens and an invasion? Hell yeah, now that’s interesting as is. The art style already caught my attention with how it differs from others. As far as finding a boy who lost his memory and just so happens to have alien butt kicking powers… It seems like a typical plot, so I am hoping that the comedy can make up for that.

When we last left off with the previous OVA, we had the Gundam Unicorn falling down to earth after an amazing battle that left it burning up in the earths atmosphere. So how will they survive?! Through the power of Mecha and science of course! We’ll finally get a chance to escape space and have some good old ground combat from the Gundam Unicorn, I assume Banagher Links has some friends that will help him? Or they might try to take his Gundam away. From my past experience, most Gundam series use Earth in many ways to introduce things like  random resistance fighters, other factions spawning from bigger ones or the use of politics. Because we know Gundam loves to have politics in their giant robot series to get people talking.

Now the actors might be a bit new to me, because I really only have seen this in English dub form as they release them in so many languages at the same time, which is a good thing. We have Kouki Uchiyama returning as Banagher Links who some might know him from Infinite Stratos, Shiki; Ayumi Fujimura as Audrey Burne (Shinryaku!? Ika Musume, Toaru Majutsu no Index II) and lastly Shuuichi Ikeda as Full Frontal (Mobile Suit Gundam, SD Gundam Force); the rest are a mystery to me because I’ll probably watch this fourth movie in English as well to enjoy the action. Bandai usually does great work on their dubs so you can give it a shot too but have fun either way.

// COMMENTS
I feel like whenever a new Unicorn episode comes out, I completely forget what happened in the previous episodes and need to start over. But, on the positive side, I did like episode 2 a good deal and am waiting until this episode comes out to marathon 3 & 4. I also must appluad Bandai’s marketing strategy with this. I love the simultaneous worldwide release, English and Japanese dubs, and availability over Xbox Live and PSN. More OVA series really need to see what Bandai is doing here, because I’d really like to see a series like Hellsing with their OVAs do this.
Like Jrow, whenever a new episode comes out, I have to watch the whole series all over again but then again, I do that with most long running OVAs like Hellsing and even the finally finished Black Lagoon. With that aside, I’m excited for this next episode to come out. The previous one left me hanging with seeing Banagher in his Gundam falling through Earth’s atmosphere. The scene of Audrey arriving on Earth and looking to the sky seeing the Gundam falling was just beautiful and to add to that, hearing Merry-go-round by CHEMISTRY in the background was just well matching. The story itself for this series is pretty interesting in the Gundam world with it’s original aspects and relations to MSG. I like the fact that they use Char’s character (even though he looks like a big girly man with curls) and that this is many years following MSG. As well, the great explanations about things that you might not have caught on before is very helpful.

There better be a season 3. You can’t end it with all those cute girls in the outro and not shows us Keima conquering each  and every one of them! TWGOK is a really impressive series to me because it does so many things well. Keima is a terrific character that basically is the Light Yagami of romance, and season 2 I felt developed him quite a bit as he starts to find more of an interest in reality. I do enjoy the romance and the drama on the show, and the arc with Chihiro was such a strong arc in season 2 at showing the show, in spite of much rain, at its very brightest. The 2 chapters referenced for Yonin to Idol (Chapter 54 & 55) OVA is primarily about a band performing, so expect some of Keima’s past trophy girls to show up and have some good ole K-On! singing fun! It will be a delight to see Keima and Elsee again in animated form, but let’s hope for a season 3 announcement out of this thing!
// COMMENTS
I will be watching this. Yes I will. I just hope there will be a third series. I’ve ehard rumblings that they wont actually be animating it, which makes me super sad. I’ve also heard (from Junko, nonetheless) that the series so far isn’t even up to the main crux of the manga, which is pretty crazy. Even now, I don’t know many of the VA’s so I guess I’ll just jumping once more unto the breach. I should really start learning some names or something.
These sound like music videos with the characters, I recently spammed watched the last arc of season one and loved it! Mostly because of Elcea being so cute all the time. Season two great stuff as well so I can’t wait to check this out even if it turns out to be the characters just singing and dancing for the whole thing.

Lol, Seitokai Yakuindomo, how can I forget this anime. This is probably one of the very few harem anime I actually like. It’s all thanks to the ecchi gags though, so you can’t really give credit to the harem. Yup, SYD is an anime about the life of Tsuda who just enrolled at a recently all-girls-school turned-co-ed school (the harem). Thanks to the accident in episode one (go watch by yourself), he ends up becoming the Vice President of the Student Council. Not that it’s a problem, but Tsuda is having a hard time right now in the Student Council when the President Amakusa Shino’s brain is soaked with ecchi water, the Secretary Aria Sichijou is a “naive” girl who carries two melons on her chest, and the Treasurer Suzu Hagimura is a petite girl who’s overly-obsessed with her height. Not to mention your ecchi little sister who just recently enrolled too, or the ecchi teacher, etc. etc. Basically all the girls here are ecchi. And this is where the anime comes into play. We get to see the Student Council’s “ecchi” activities! As in ecchi jokes, not real ecchi action, you pervs. It’s not that I actually like like it, but it’s quite hilarious. I’m watching it NOT for the animation, NOT for the staff, NOT for the seiyu, NOT for the songs, only for the ecchi gags. Why? Because I’m a pervert and I feel that I should expand my ecchi knowledge.

So, who else enjoyed this giant ball of fun? This is a dream come true for a Type-Moon fan because it is one thing to get awesome visual and light novels but another thing altogether when a comedy spin-off is presented of the different titles within the Type-Moon verse or shall I simply say Nasuverse? Kekekekeee. If you didn’t check out our previous season review, let me refresh your memory about this franchise. Though, if you don’t know about TYPE-MOON, your existence in this world is not important. Anyways, Takenashi Eri is part of the Type-Moon staff, who has created many side-stories to most of the group’s projects; ‘Tsukihime’, ‘Kagetsu Tohya’, ‘MELTY BLOOD’, ‘Fate/stay night’ in the form of Take Moon manga. Carnival Phantasm project was initially green-lit for celebrating Type-Moon 10th anniversary and I daresay again, an awesome treat for fans. Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!, My Bride is a Mermaid) is directing this at Lerche, while the script is adapted by Makoto Uezu (Kore wa Zombie desu ka?, My Bride is a Mermaid, Tayutama -Kiss on my Deity-). You get all the voice actor goodness from the mentioned series so from Nakata Jouji to Junichi Suwabe, Kenji Nojima, Ryoka Yuzuki are all here to make you laugh. From the imagery released, the next season (4 episode chunk) seems to have a school and festival theme with the main girls in uniform and yukata. Also, without giving away too much, what did you vote for? #cpdate_main or #cpdate_all?
OH MY LORD ANOTHER SEASON OF MY CUTE ARCUEID. *cough* Anyhow, remember last season’s comment of mine about this. I take it back. I love Carnival Phantasm. I love seeing all of Tsukihime and Fate characters in one cute hilarious anime that has nothing to do with fighting. Only gags, gags and more gags. If you want something outstanding about it, you’re obviously expecting something from a wrong anime. This is just a anniversary thingy and like what I what I said before, this is just a pointless gag anime. Although I do like the singers from the opening song for the first season though (Aki Misato the singer for Oretachi Ni Tsubasa Wa Nai’s OP; Faylan who sang for Break Blade, Sekon no Qwaser, and for Mirai Nikki OP!). Anyhow, I think all TYPE-MOON fans who haven’t watched this yet should watch this. You will enjoy this. AND YAY ARCUEID

Oh gee, the anime wasn’t really that good (to put it nicely) so I don’t know…I started reading the manga and it’s a lot better, so I might be suckered into seeing how they handle animating yet another chapter or two for a laugh. This OVA is bundled with the 11th volume of the manga and seems to be a fluffy side story with Shiro and Ganta. For those of you unsure of what Deadman Wonderland is, it’s about a boy named Ganta who is framed for killing his entire classroom. The real culprit is a freakish monster named the Red Man who is able to move his blood (Avatar fans, think “blood-bending”) to kill people. Ganta gets thrown into a prison which is FULL of these blood-controlling freaks, and has to compete in weekly death matches to amuse the higher-ups. Gruesome stuff, but seeing as Shiro is sweet and cheerful, I expect this to just summarize their childhood or something of that sort.
// COMMENTS
Well I sat through the terrible anime series so why not one more episode, might be fun. Hopefully we get some much needed season two action because there is a huge chunk of valuable information and other hidden characters from the manga and more blood!? But I have a feeling this will be just a happy filled OVA.
Exactly what could an OVA do to salvage an elsewise horrible conclusion to the anime series? Remind us of the sometimes derpy animation? To remind us of that non-ending? Remakes are the big deal these days. Do we really have to wait 5-8 years for someone to do Deadman right? Hell, I say start over again in Winter!

WHOOAAA, S-CRY-ED IS BACK?! Man, this was one of my favourite anime back in the day when I was but a wee Cooled. The action was intense, and the rivalry between Kazuma and Ryuho was on the same epic level as Shizuo and Izaya. I have no doubt this will focus on one of their epic battles, or even an entire overview of their fighting history. Kazuma has the ability to essentially make his arm turn into metal and fire some wicked punches, while Ryuho lets his Alter (just think of it like a mini mech) do his dirty work for him. The basis for their rivalry is that Kazuma lives in the “slums” while Ryuho obeys the orders of a corrupted, inner-city organization. Of course, they end up being rivals trying to fight for what they think is just. Aside from those two, the other Alter users have pretty interesting powers (one uses watermelons…) so maybe we’ll see a bit of them too. This is ultimately just a rehash to make more money, but hey, why not? If you’re an s-CRY-ed fan and want to reminisce about the glorious action, then you have no reason to ignore this. And what a better time than the 10th anniversary of the sCRYed series, to release two re-edit movies covering the entire series. It will be based on digital remastered footage from the 26 episode TV series, along with newly created footage, and the movies will be redubbed from scratch. The same original core staff are supervising the process.
What?! S-CRY-ed returning? Ahahah I suppose I will check this out, I remember only watching this in glorious english dub back a long time again. I wonder what extra scenes they are going to throw our way? Maybe an alternate ending where things get real and people die, or more lame random battles. This series was pre Scacred Seven but both series are very similar in a way with the characters using their power for good, like Sacred Seven we had two groups the ones who use the power for good and the wild people with powers! A bit like No 6 with them living of the land. So I am interested in seeing what they could “alter” to make things different.

Assuming this is just going to be a poor excuse for random fan service scenes of all the popular Infinite Stratos girls! Sextet threw me off; is this one of those H themed specials like those princess lover ones?! Oh man if it was this would sell so damn fast; of course expect censor bars of DOOM!!! Clearly this is important to the story progression, right? Anyway as lame as the actual story for Infinite Stratos was, I found a few reasons to watch just based on my favorite characters like Charlot and Laura! So what can we expect from this? I have predictions of it being nothing but the girls running around trying to get love from the main guy. Of course failing and probably having a battle to see who is worthy? Because we still do not have a true enemy for the girls to fight.

Just like the series, I’m interested in Boku wa Tomodachi. What we know about the OVA is that is it will come bundled with the 7th volume of the light novel on September 22nd, and that in a scan promoting it the novel shows a nice shot of Sena in the shower soaping it up. We’ll at least be able to get a preview of what an episode might look like before the anime releases a couple weeks later. So, if you want to take a peek at what to expect, tune on this.
I am interested in the series hopefully we have some fun with this one! I know the character designs really caught my eye they are the same from Denpa Onna and I know that series got a lot of attention just based on the characters. I am still interested in seeing how the Neigbours club actually works out, I guess we will end up with several story arcs surrounding each girl and what they need “help” with! This might be Sket dance with fan service! And who wouldn’t want that? I shall watch for the big three voices! Kana Hanazawa, Kaneo Ito and Marina Inoue those three will be good enough just to watch.

So many Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi greatness this fall, I am a happy yaoi fangirl. Unlike the previous OVA, this 20 minutes Special will be about our male shoujo manga Yoshino Chiaki. Unfortunately, I have no knowledge whatsoever about this OVA, so I can only speculate about it. Since this is about Chiaki, I guess this will be a flashback of him, Hatori, and Yuu? As in the younger days when all of them just start their debut in the manga world. Or It’s focused in Chiaki and Hatori’s relationship? Whatever it is, I’m so going to enjoy this because I <3 Hatori. This special will be included in the special edition bundle of Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi manga, with the box and all the special designs of the bundle. Ugh, what a treat. I wish I could buy the special edition manga. So for those who can afford to buy the limited edition of volume six, make sure you buy it. IT’S A GAY BOOK WITH GAY PORN DVD.

Aah, I remember you tweeting about it and here it is. Thank you for the wait! ^^ We take our time in collecting all the info because releasing reviews without complete information is just no good and does justice to the title being covered.

    • Foshizzel says:

Hell ya to Mirai Nikki! I can’t wait to see that, but I have a feeling it will be soooo censored like BloodC And Deadman wonderland with so many shadows and great big beams of light….

IKA MUSUME 2! CANT WAIT AHHH!! xDD

Guilty Crown! Yes please! That looks so good, I will bet money it probably will be the hit of the fall season with all those great designs and music.

Why thank you! We put a lot of time into this 😀

Funnily enough I’m actually going to be watching the original Macross series along with this season. I think they might just be old enough XD

    • Jrow says:

We can expect better from DEEN on Hatsukoi, but I’m keeping my expectations slightly above minimum.

    • Foshizzel says:

Hells ya Junko! Guilty Crown for the winnnnnnnn and Fate/Zero,Working!! and Shana three! xD

*take a deep breath after reading the suuuuuuuper long review* lol
Just reading it takes almost one hour, can’t imagine how long the team has been working on this. Thank you so much for the hard work! <3

Aww, I'm so happy that there's lots of promising show this season. Currently interested in Guilty Crown, Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, Gundam AGE, Phi Brain, Un-Go, Persona 4, Mirai Nikki, Fate/Zero, Shakugan no Shana III, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi 2 and Hotarubi no Morie. That's quite a lot coming from me :))
Might cut down this list after watching first episode though :p

    • Kyokai says:

Thank you for the kind words! Everyone really worked hard in making this a reality. We have been preparing since last month. xD

Hahaa, we’ll see how much you end up seeing but definitely, there’s no shortage of good shows this season. ^^

    • Foshizzel says:

-hands you a paper bag- ;D

Thanks! Indeed it was a long process but worth the wait! Good work everyone course we always do our best for the readers.

Yep I am looking forward to Guilty Crown,Gundam Age,Horizon,Mirai Nikki, Fate/Zero and Shana three too! Lots of great anime soon! Fall is going to be a great one.

  6. Joojoobees says:

Hourou Mousuko (special): I finally got around to watching the series last week. I had to wait because my old computer had serious problems with video, and the very pale colors of the art style meant I could barely tell what was going on. The pale watercolor style looks great (now that I have a new computer), and is very appropriate. For a show that seems like it would be intense and angst, it actually isn’t. I mean, yeah the kid gets bullied and stuff, but actually it is much more subdued than one would expect. I think this gave it a sense of realism that I wasn’t expecting. I’ll check out the special, since I’m caught up.

Chihayafuru: Yeah! This is my prediction for best show of the season.

    • Kyokai says:

I agree on the intensity. They talk about some serious stuff quite mildly. No violence except for some bullying and bitching. Seen in a marathon, Hourou Musuko is much better than waiting for it every week.

And three cheers for Chihayafuru. This should be a total win!

  7. Kitty says:

AWESOME SAUCE!!! I’ve been waiting soooo long for this!!! Picking next season’s watches is always a process. But I love all your reviews and the trailers really help. No one does it like Metanron. Here is too another rocking anime season.

    CHEERS!

    Most looking forward too:
Fate/Zero, Gundam Age, Bakuman S2 and Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi 2. Watching a few others but those are the big kickers.

    • Kyokai says:

Thank you, Kitty-chan! We love doing it for our readers. ^^

Also, a mecha fan? Say HI to Fosh and Jrow as these two fanboy it to the limit. xD

    • Jrow says:

Thanks so much! It’s like how Carly Simon sings it.

I have faith in F/Z being great and Hatsukoi should be more of season 1 goodness, and I’m interested to see what Age brings to the table.

      • Kitty says:

I really just can’t wait to hear Takano go Huh?! again.

I think I might add Last Exile to the list, thou I haven’t see the first one.

Also Hi Fosh and Jrow =^_^= yay for mecha backed fun!

        • Foshizzel says:

Oh yes you should try to watch some Last Exile! Really good stuff xD and -wave- YES! Finally a season of mecha! Wooooooooooo hooooooo!

    • Foshizzel says:

      Ahahah thanks! 😀

Fate/Zero looks great! Can’t wait to see some more of Saber and Rin <3 Gundam Age might take a while to actually get into with those character designs, but I love gundam so I can look past that for now.

  8. Vivi says:

Soooo much info, amazing!! I think I might actually start recognizing VAs with your format XD

And OMG Sayanoara Zetsu Sensei, Hourou Mousuko, Usagi Drop, & Kimi ni Todoke specials! *_*

Anaaga’s reaction to Sekai-something something was cute haha

    • Kyokai says:

I’m a VA fangirl through and through so it’ll be all my pleasure if you start recognizing them due to my reviews. XD

Too many titles to check out, yeah!

    • Foshizzel says:

hahah yep I am with you to Vivi one day I will have the names of all the actors memorized! Somehow….

  9. BlackBriar says:

Whoa, this season is packed. It’s almost like summer again.

I saw the Guilty Crown trailer and even though I haven’t seen much of Code Geass, it reminds me of that with Index/Railgun parts.

I’m also in to check out Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle, Fate/Zero, Persona 4: The Animation, Maji de Watashi ni Shinasai, C3: Cube X.

As for Hunter x Hunter, I never saw the original version but it still looks interesting.

A third Shakugan no Shana? Damn!!! I haven’t even seen the first two. Time to catch up.

A Deadman Wonderland OVA. I might give this series a second opinion depending on how it plays out. The madness, blood and gore were on the mark but the main character has yet to prove himself. I mean, Ganta actually looks tougher in this picture and I’m itching to see Shiro and Minatsuki go wild again.

That Infinite Stratos OVA is next on the list along with that Ao no Exorcist special.

This season’s gonna be busy but gonna help us burn a the the way to winter season.

    • Kyokai says:

Oh hell yeah! I want to see everything! Well, almost~

Guilty Crown seems to be the top pick because of the star-studded staff. I mean, would you look at those names. Same goes for Fate/Zero, Un-Go, Persona, Phi Brain and Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon. I say something for everyone but yeah, a warning for Shana, it’s a typical tsundere girl going shut up all the time. Not sure if it has enough ‘plot’.

      • Jrow says:

In regards to Shana, I’ve never seen it, but from what I’ve read from steev and also other places is that Shana is kind of the basis for which most of today’s tsunderes are based off of. He’s actually excited about the series which surprised me a good bit.

      • BlackBriar says:

I don’t really mind tsunderes. I survived Bakemonogatari’s Hitagi and Kore Wa Zombie’s Sera and Haruna. And they are as tsun as they come.

What I really want to see first is Guilty Crown but we gotta wait untill October. I should have known. The Hanazawa virus has even gotten this upcoming series. She’s really branching out. Then there’s Persona 4 and Fate/Zero. They look really wild.

And not to forget Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon with Jun Fukuyama in the cast. Hime and other Fukuyama fangirls are gonna be all over that. They should have another anime with big time VA. Ao no Exorcist was a breeding ground for three kinds of viruses: Jun Fukuyama, Nobuhiko Okamoto and the infectious Hanazawa virus.

    • Foshizzel says:

Yeah lots of great looking shows! So amazing to the line up with mecha for once.

True about guilty crown it does look a bit like a “Railgun/index” type of series which sounds great to me xD

  10. Blackholeheart says:

First off, girls and guys of Metanorn you deserve a standing ovation for this season preview, every other blog should not bother to write one and just provide a link back to this. Seriously outstanding job. I am however worried about Kyokai, with all she’s got on her plate, one of these days her head is going to straight up explode! Of course that won’t stop her and we’re all going to have to chip in and buy her a yellow motorcycle helmet with built in nekomimi and those aren’t cheap you know!

I do have a bone to pick with you all though, before reading this I was fretting over having 12 shows in my want to watch list, now I have 22. And 8 OVA’s. On top of Fringe, Supernatural and Terra Nova in USA tvland! orz >.<

Again thank you for the fantastic work though, I'm so hyped to enjoy this amazing season with all of you!

    • Kyokai says:

Where should I even begin? I laughed like mad after reading this comment and thank you SO MUCH for your kind words and worrying about my head. LOL, Celty fits so well here. xD

Also, rest assured, I’ll be watching Fringe and Supernatural too along with all the above anime. It’s gonna be tough but reviews are there to check out and then sift the crop for better ones.

Let’s have an awesome season, YEAHHHH! xD

    • Jrow says:

I know what ya mean with having so many shiny new shows to watch. I don’t have the US tv shows, but as a sports fan I have to find extra time to wiggle these shows around football games and whatnot.

Thanks so much! The first half of October will be crazy busy for us getting out first impressions and such.

  11. Raph says:

Just to echo the comments above, thank you for such a complete season preview that’s beautiful-looking to boot! The amount of information here is extraordinary and the links to websites, information about people involved, etc. are extremely useful too. Awesome job!

    • Kyokai says:

Thank you, Raph! Much appreciate it.

Also, I see you share the Yamada love, nyaa~ xD

    • Foshizzel says:

Thanks Raph! It was a lot of work and fun to finally get this done and out to everyone to read! Yeah thanks to Ness and Kyokai for working on the shiney graphics.

  12. TSRL says:

    Just real quick.
    @Kyokai
You did a little mistake on page 9:
Sunrise and Production I.G. are not both doing Guilty Crown. Only I.G. and the one missing for Sunrise is Gundam AGE. You though nobody would notice eh?? XDD
You can count on this redly-suspiciously Gundam fanboy to correct you XDDD

  13. Reaper says:

All I have to say is wow, so many things to expect from the coming Fall, though I’m in agreement that Fate/Zero is at the top of the list. Returning cast as well as new members with the darker story in the background compared to the (relatively) lighthearted Fate/Stay-night. P4 though comes second but there are A LOT of new shows I have not heard of that I’m genuinely excited for…now I shall begin bouncing in my chair in glee…:)

    • Kyokai says:

Fate/Zero, HELL YEAH! *Metafist* I have never been this excited about an anime before… Well, Nisemonogatari comes near enough but you catch my drift. xD

Persona 4 is making me crazy with their new PVs as the days go by. Not to mention so many shows to check out. It’s definitely going to be an eventful season, this one.

  14. Miyu says:

!!! Thank you so much for creating such a comprehensive (and pretty) season preview post 😀 I am in awe of (and eternally grateful to) the Metanorn Team (Y)

I am so excited for Fall with approximately 7 series I’m looking forward to catching 8D 8D
…The only thing is that I only can start watching after my End of Year Exams end on 10 October so I. HAVE. TO. RESIST. T T

    • Jrow says:

That’s so awesome to see you write that! So glad you really enjoyed the preview.

Fall’s looking pretty good. I’m not sure what my personal count of shows is, but each season this year I’ve underestimated the number, so it might hover between 5-10.

    • Foshizzel says:

You are welcome! This was really a lot of work but amazing job team xD

Nice!! I have lost count on the series I will end up watching….probably a little of everything for me 😀

  15. umi_no_mizu says:

wooot new season! Looks pretty decent too =D

Looking forward to Phi Brain; Kami no Puzzle, HunterxHunter, and kimi to boku… Also going to continue on with bakuman, working, shinryaku ika mumsume and sekai-ichi hatsukoi =P

once again, very nice work on the review-ness =)

    • Jrow says:

Very appropriate that you say review-“ness” since Ness did an amazing job with the design as is usually the case. 🙂

    • Foshizzel says:

Yes! Lots of exciting things to watch soon!

I am interested in HunterxHunter! And Ika Musume <3 <3 I missed that series I need my comedy fix.

      LOL Yepp so much review-ness!

    • Ness says:

And every time a review comes out, I disappear right after it’s publish for a vacation xD

Thanks! (even though I’m unsure if that review-ness was even meant for me) :3

  16. fathomlessblue says:

I went into this summary thinking the only shows worth my time were Working!!, Persona 4, Guilty Crown and Last Exile, yet now I’m more excited with Tamayura and Coppelion. I hope the later does actually air this season!).

Oh, and more Kimi ni Todoke means more Ayane = Win Win Win!!!

  17. Carla says:

I’ve been Waiting for this post!
THANK YOU for creating a comprehensive season preview post for retarded people like me ♥

  18. anaaga says:

Oh god Kyokai I love Tales of Symphonia how could you say that ;___; But it’s releasing in the winter anime season, so it’s good that you didn’t put it in the list.
By the way, I looooveeee Tales of Symphonia. You know what this means *hint hint*

And that Natsume twins thingy? I thought it would be about bunch of girls, but it’s actually about bunch of guys. Has lots of yaoi pairing potentials. Will watch for the gheyness

    • Kyokai says:

      What did I say?! =P
Tales of Symphonia is getting so many OVAs like every season, we can’t cover it every time. =P but you are always welcome to cover it. 😉

And about Kimi to Boku., I always thought it would be awesome if someone made the guys’ version of K-On! and look at this, our time is made. xD

  19. Alynn says:

    Love the new layout!

    The only think I hate about fall is the lack of time I have for watching anime. D;

    Definitely watching:
    Show ▼

Fall is looking great so far!

    • Foshizzel says:

I love the layout too! Very cool xD

Trueeeeee some can watch anime all day!

Nice list I can’t wait for Guilty Crown, Working!!, and Mirai Nikki those seem like really fun shows to watch this season. Fingers crossed for Mirai Nikki not to be censored to much due to all the BLOOD…

  20. Moni Chan says:

OMG YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you so much. Fall is the season for awesome anime. There’s like 6 animes airing on my birthday. CRAZYNESS I TELL YOU CRAZYNESS!

Im so happy that Bakuman is getting a 2nd season. The manga is so interesting. As well as all the other animes getting another season.

Detective Conan i love that show. All I need to do to catch up is watch more then 500 episode before october. Maybe I should just start watching the movies.

the animes are just so amazing I sooooo cant wait.

    • Foshizzel says:

You are welcome!!! Fall is looking amazing so many great looking shows, ooooh Happy early birthday! I know last year Kore wa Zombie desu ka? Came out on my bday too well a day before ahaha

WOW And I thought a series like One piece was huge xD

      • Moni Chan says:

        ahhh thank you
lol actually the ones that are airing on my birthday are a day early 2. I still say it’s my birthday kuz the subs come out a day later, hopfully. >_<

    • Karakuri says:

      Happy early birthday!

I want to get into Conan. I really do, but 600 episodes seems like a hell of a lot XD. Good luck with that!

    • anaaga says:

      DROP DROP DROP CONAN
Not that I hate it, and I HAD the manga. But since it’s not even done until NOW, I decided to stop. It’s making me broke

      • Moni Chan says:

lmao I always wonder when it will end. it’s been on since around the time I was born. I haven’t hit 100 episodes and I’m on the 13th volume (and counting), but im not going to give up. i might just stick to the manga it’s faster.
