Favorite Comedy Manga [TIE]
Yankee-kun to Megane-chan/ Flunk Punk Rumble
There’s something to really love about Yankee-kun to Megane-chan. Besides from it’s golden comedic situations, I also appreciate its crazy characters. Adachi Hana might not be your typical class representative (or student council president, in the latter chapters), for she was a previous yankee that wanted to change her image. Shinagawa is the popular school delinquent who always gets into trouble because of Adachi. The perfect pair… then add Hana’s sidekick, and a Ami from ToraDora’s male counterpart except that he’s a former yankee. The only non-delinquent among them is the one who looks the most yankee of all XD… I really like this and every chapter never failed to give a chuckle. This manga is really recommendable.

Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu
Lol this manga was old but still, it ended this year so it qualifies. I must say that this is a gem and a masterpiece. I definitely like this one better than BokuImouto. It’s very heart wrenching, bittersweet, and tragic. I really don’t like those genres of manga, but BokuKimi has that “something special” that makes me love it.

Favorite Horror Manga
Doubt
I had a hard time picking this one or Deadman Wonderland but I ended up picking Doubt instead because it focuses more on realistic aspects like paranoia and distrust. I’m such a psychological and myystery junkie that’s why I’ve come to be infatuated with the series too. My heart thumps like crazy and I always find it hard to breathe while reading it lol, and we never know what would happen next in every chapter.

Ah. I had to change the website for the first time ever while commenting (yay? But I screwed up on the last one, heh).

Seeing “SINGLE LADIES [Put a Ring on it]” made me laugh. First time I ever really heard that video was on a skit on SNL that was…um yeah. But my goodness, you certainly did get all of the best songs from 2008 (lol, plus some ones I never listened to, but they certainly are good).
These favorites are so awesome, that they have to be excused for being late.
