Boys’ Love Game Review: Zettai Fukuju Meirei (NSFW)
True Ending
This scene makes everything worth it
That’s right, after twelve annoying routes, there’s a true ending for the game as a whole if the player gets an A for every mission. Even if there’s one B, the ending won’t be triggered. Louise will be all “the player did something wrong so we’re stuck with this ending” or whatever it is. That ass. Once the ending is triggered though, the player will get the same ending no matter what the result is if the player replays the game. However, getting true end is hard as hell since some routes expire if other routes get rank A. I suggest to google for a walkthrough to get the correct order of picking the routes. Anyhow, here’s the ending, though it’s going to be obvious from the hints in the mission.
After the true ending, Gallacher will approach Kia and Louise for a mission each. It’s not really a mission, more like the ending for each character after the true ending. I FUCKED TWELVE MEN FOR NOTHING. So many damn endings. This is the extra mission that’s only triggered if the true ending is reached, and the player can only pick one. Meaning that the player should save the game before he chooses the mission. Seriously, do this. Repeating twelve missions sucks. I learned this the painful way. Also, do not forget to get A for all the other routes first.
Kia’s Secret Mission
Louise’s Secret Mission
And after the player plays both of the secret routes, the front page will change into something fabulous like this:
And you get a KIRABOSHI~
It was…. Well… How can I describe it? It was an experience, that I have to say. At that time, the game was definitely a break from an angsty game like Togainu no Chi. What can it be, other than a break? The routes were short, and the stories really shallow. They’re the typical cliche stories copied from Harlequin novels. Which, of course, makes this game the perfect game for some break.
I really liked the variety I got from the routes. Seriously, this game has everything. From a teenage soccer player to an Arabian prince. Name it, and this game has it. The variety can also be seen from the plots of the routes. This game have some of the most hilarious scenes and scripts I have ever seen/read. Some of them are downright embarrassing to the point where I skip some details. The comedy is balanced with the darker routes though, so I got the best of both. I don’t have to worry about the routes connecting to each other as well. The game system itself sets the routes as jobs for Kia and Louise, making them detached to each other (though in the end, it’s all connected in the true ending). It really helped me since I was able to enjoy the romance in each route to its fullest. I didn’t have to make some random OTP in the end as the characters screwed everybody. Ehm, basically, I can enjoy the routes and the characters inside as they are without any interruption of a third party whatsoever, and I like it.
As for the game system, I have a mixed feeling about it. I do like how the routes are not tangled with each other, but I have some problem with other parts of the game system. First, the endings are just too much. I don’t mind 48 endings, but please, make them memorable. I don’t need lame endings such as falling asleep and getting lost and so on. Those endings literally wasted my time. And speaking about wasting my time, I was sooooo ticked at the expiration system of the game. Doing this and that to prevent the routes from expiring? Sure, it might seem challenging at first (and fun in a way), but when I have to repeat so many damn routes again and again just to get ending A (since it’s impossible to get all A in all routes), it becomes downright annoying. And those secret routes, man… I wanted to stab someone when I had to repeat everytthhiinnngg just for the other secret route. Thankfully, the routes are pretty short, around 1-2 hours. But still, repeating routes… !@#$%^&*()
Other than the game system, I enjoyed everything, even the art (sausage!) and the music. From the screenshots, it is obvious that Langmaor really focused on the sex scenes. But if you put the sex scenes aside, the art is pretty decent for a game that was before 2010. I mean, all of the characters are bishies, and they’re definitely a feast for the eyes. The details of Kia’s and Louise’ uniforms are definitely worth it to be noted too. Yura really got some skill at drawing them boys. Though the music is not that memorable, they definitely fit the atmosphere of the game. The voice actors did a perfect job at moaning most of the time (since that’s what this game is all about, really), and the game really did put some effort at putting sex noise as much as possible (every five second, there will be a squelching noise!). Though this is not the best yaoi game in this world, this is definitely a game for those who want to waste their time with yaoi.
See you on March 14!

I had no idea that post-war Germany was filled with gays, sluts and fujoshi. Man, you learn something new every day.
Wow Yura has come a long way and holy crap the route grades/routes expiring if you complete other routes sound like they’re a pain in the ass. But, uh, I guess you got some entertainment out of it. xD I’m curious, did you do the censoring yourself or did Kyo help?

Lol yeah, seems like Germany was really screwed after WWII. Though I’m sure that would suit me just fine.
It was Kyo who did the censoring, and I provided some pictures for the censors. The smileys though. I just had to put that haruhi smiley face there

Sooooo this is what you have been up too?! It looks like you had a tough job with this review fufufu

Teheh, thanks Kyokai for that.
It saddens me that my longest post just has to be a yaoi post that’s full of sex. But that goes well with my title here, heh

Holy crap, the playability of this game is really fishy. It must have been a pain to get A in all routes and I thought I wanted to whine about how Dramatical Murder showed certain options at some points. Compared to this, DMMD was piece of cake.
Also, that CHINko mystery solved… Who could have thought? Anyways, quite a detailed review and I’m sure it took you dayyyyys to finish this. Good job!

You don’t like the options in DMMD? I actually like it waaayy better than Togainu no Chi since there are more options. Though the re:connect part is kind of meaningless. I mean, who gives a damn if they do it in the bathtub or not? Just do it!
It took me exactly a year to finish it, heh. Seeing those censored pictures made it worth it though.
