[Season 1] Kraft Lawrence, a peddler travelling from town to town selling and buying various things to make a living. He meets a 250 year old pagan wolf deity girl named Holo. She appears to be that of a 15 year old girl, except for a wolf tail and ears. She introduces herself as the town’s goddess of harvest who has kept it blessed with good harvests of wheat for many years. She manages to bargain her way out of the village by making a deal with Lawrence to take her with him. As they travel, her wisdom helps increase his profits, but at the same time, her true nature draws unwanted attention from the church.
Kanz: Guess what? Brains Base is under this one, yay ^^. They worked on Baccano, so them working on Spice and Wolf 2 will definitely make the sequel better. I hope it doesn’t disappoints. But yeah, yay for more Horo and Lawrence~
Tsui: YESS! Looks like our planet is spinning well. More Spicy Wolf FTW! *buys lots of apples*

The modern-day story centers on a present-day story about a detective, a young man, a virus researcher, a, and a cat mascot character who are brought together in the Tokyo neighborhood of Shibuya by bizarre events with worldwide implications.
Kanz: It looks nicely done but I’m not interested in this one. Pass.
Tsui: It looks really done nicely judging by the trailer. Might check for a first few eps, but continuing it depends on how it will turn out. But still, sounds like the game this one based on makes it tempting to watch since it’s rated a perfect score of 40/40 on Famitsu.

Kanz: Can producers think of anything else besides from school clubs as an anime concept? Ugh, for sure this one will be compared to Hidamari Sketch, Lucky Star and maybe K-On with paintbrushes instead of guitars… Not looking forward to it.
Tsui: If it’s KyoAni, I’m sure to watch this one. But it’s not, so no… Unless it’ll be a surprise like Kannagi.

Seitokai no Ichizon

The series, which is also called Hekiyō Gakuen Seito-kaigi Jiroku (The Records of the Hekiyō Academy Student Council’s Activities), revolves around a private high school whose student council is chosen entirely by popularity vote. Because of this, Ken Sugisaki is the only male representative, in the otherwise all bishōjo student council, that may enter the “sacred sanctuary” of the council’s meeting room. At the behest of Council President Kurimu Sakurano (pictured at right), Sugisaki records the minutes of the council meetings, which devolve into daily conversations about the students’ lives and interests.
Kanz: I also don’t know anything about this one as well so I guess I’ll try to check it out too. Seems like a school harem, but whatever.. Need to watch the PV first before deciding on anything
Tsui: Damn, another school animu this Summer? When Summer is supposed to have no school in here? XD. I might check this one out too for a few episodes. But we need to see the PV first.

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0

The premise of the project is the 70% or higher possibility that a magnitude 7.0 earthquake will occur in Tokyo in the next 30 years. The anime will depict what would happen if an 8.0 earthquake took place. The story will center on Mirai, a middle school freshman girl who goes to Tokyo’s artificial Odaiba Island for a robot exhibition with her brother Yutaka at the start of summer vacation. A powerful tremor emanates from an ocean trench, the famed Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge crumble and fall, and the landscape of Tokyo changes in an instant. With the help of a motorcycle delivery woman named Mari who they meet on Odaiba, Mirai and Yutaka strive to head back to their Setagaya home in western Tokyo.
Kanz: This is it. The so-called show of the season. The teaser is really promising. This show will also take the slot of Eden of the East after it ends, so maybe its awesome can be transferred in here :P. Not to mention BONES is under this one too ^^. And the apocalyptic premise looks interesting. I’ll be looking forward to this one.
Tsui: I read that BONES really did a lot of work and effort on this one so I guess it will be good. This show tops my to-watch next season. Just the trailer gives me goosebumps already. I hope the seiyuu will also not disappoint as soon as we get the info on them.

Hetalia Axis Powers 2

Do we really need any introductions to this? It’s WW2-based gag comedy with personified countries. We have Italy as our main character, which was once had a strong ruler, but now an airhead who loves pasta. Join the wackiness of the Axis Powers and the Allied Forces, as well as many other countries in the mini series’ second season ^^.
Kanz: YEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The BEST sequel of the next season hands down (already XD)! Kyaaa~ I’m so happy that there isn’t any freaking break on to the next season of Hetalia. We’re gonna see more countries! Yay~!!! Finland and Sweden~<33!!! GILBO!!! Andand OMGOMG I’m so happy ^^!!!!!!

Ok, thanks for the early preview… Or err, catalogue as kanzeon said xD;; The only show that stands out this season in my opinion is Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. I think it looks really great, judging by the preview and the studio behind it. Scary concept ftw–
A change of studio regarding Spice and Wolf is something that’s hard to adopt in, but I’m prepared for it anyway if it’s for the better. I haven’t watched episode 00 yet though, and maybe I’ll save watching it when ep 01 airs on Summer.
:XD: Lots of school/slice-of-life eh? I think Kanamemo (did i just spelled it right?) looks cute and Seitokai no Ichizon as well. I’m hoping that any studio would animate it except for Studio DEEN but it’s too late lol.

The only shows I’m looking forward to next season is Hetalia 2 and Spice and Wolf 2. I’m not sure enough to try out the new series, since nothing almost appeals to me. Well except for Tokyo Magnitude, but I can’t take tragedies with my weak heart.

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 definitely looks interesting, I think I’ll be checking that one out. That, and elementhunters. (haha, just for kicks. And to see if it can do anything for my sucky chemistry…)

I’ll be surely watching Aoi Hana because I LOVE the manga. The main may not look very bishoujo like Strawberry Panic or Candy Boy but I really dig the story ^^. Hope you guys would try it as well ^^.

Omg anyway, I have a lot to watch on the next season! Though I’m getting the feeling that most of them will end up being dropped like dead flies after a few weeks or so. I’m torn apart between Umi Monogatari to Yoru Wamaru Thingy Show (forgot the name XD) and I’m also choosing between Aoi Hana and the Baseball Girls. It feels like there’s a natch for every summer show lol. Will watch Umineko and Hetalia 2 for sure. I still need to watch the first season of Spice and Wolf to understand the hype about it though.
So yeah, thanks for the preview! (Or catalog/ue XDD). I’ll wait for more trailers and updates to come ^^.

Woo! The super awesome early Metanorn anime preview…er…catalog is ftw is always! I love the new layout of things. Even a preview (catalog? lol) post just looks so cool when it’s on Metanorn.
As expected, you guys had me laughing the whole way through. Too bad I have to wait for Fall anime for another one of these. (Ooo~ Or maybe a new show will get announced?)
As for shows I’m watching, of course Sora no Manimani is at the top of my list. It is my officially adopted fangirl series for the season! Which reminds me that I need to go check that scanlation group and see if they’ve given me any more chapters of the manga that I can love~
Other series I’m probably going to at least check out are Canaan, Taishou Yakyuu Musume, Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou, Umi Monogatari, Kanamemo, and Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (the “duh” show on everyone’s watchlist!). Did I forget anything? Oh yeah, more Hetalia~ I may not talk about it much, but I can’t resist those bishie-fied countries~
There seem to be a lot of things I have interest in, but not much is totally grabbing me like Sora no Manimani. I think I’m just spoiled and expect to have a show to add to my favorites OF ALL TIME every season for some reason. Which may work out anyway if Sora no Manimani surpasses my own hype. And then I never have to learn a lesson. Yay!
