Basketball plus Sasquatch equals Basquash! Well, except that the Sasquatch here are robotic, car-headed engines instead of the regular.
The visuals are really good! Of course, it has Satelight and Kawamori Shouji behind its name. I must say that among the few Spring anime that had impressed me so far, this one’s the most entertaining, and might be the best one in my opinion in terms of animation, music, concept and voice actors combined. I enjoyed watching it. The basketball with robots scene was really well-animated, and they should really keep it up with the good work with the style.
Lol. This is my favorite scene. Dan brought a cute winged pet for Coco at home and when it got released, it flew around until it got eaten by Spanky.
Something to take note of is the character Miyuki. She was so horny amusing as hell. And she really has ehem.. assets. But Miyuki was the childhood friend of Dan, which seems to grow faster than him XD. She threw in Dan to the Bigfoot and Dan discovered his first ride.
It’s a car! It’s a robot! No, it’s a car-robot thingy!
Then there’s the BFB league game that Miyuki invited Dan on. When Dan watched the actual game, it was boring as hell live compared when watching it on TV, because on TV, it had been added special effects. So he ran out of patience, and makes a dramatic entrance as Bigfoot to show these boring players how to play real basketball.
Dan gives the crowd a show by showing his moves, and as he aims for the slam dunk. Until another Bigfoot blocked him. This knocked Dan as well as the whole stadium. He was sent to prison and sentenced for one year.
When his sentence was over, he was shocked to find out that he had became a legend. Bigfoots are everywhere, playing basketball.
I can’t wait for the next episode, as well as the subs too. This show is really worth watch for a very fun concept. The animation really gives justice to watch it. The seiyuus are also top-notch, I can say. We have Hiro Shimono voicing the lead, Endou Aya voicing the hilarious Spanky, and of course, Haruka Tomatsu and Megumi Nakajima (and another one I forgot) whom will be leading the voice of the pop idol from the moon. They’re group in real life is called Eclipse, and I can’t wait on how the OP will sound like.
