Welcome back to another confusing batch of Punchline episodes! I would have had this out earlier, but I had a bit of an audio issue with my previous recording…anyway…I hope you enjoy listening to me and Skylion talk about these three episodes instead of giving you our top three moments.

The director wasn’t kidding, this episode had quite the plot twists.

The one who possessed Yuta is him from a different timeline: Wow, this is really cool!

Yuta is actually a girl (can alkso be read as: the harem is actually a yuri harem): …what. *MIND BLOWN INTO OBLIVION*

  2. Di Gi Kazune says:

I like the cat. A cat is definately Fine TOo.

I really hope they do something very different with the time travel plot besides “now let’s show you the same timeline from a different perspective”.I find that the prospect of seeing that kind of plot… again… just doesn’t seem like a very exciting way to go anymore. There has to be some different kind of way they can present it.

For a show that is so wacky, I find that the twists they think they are putting in are almost entirely telegraphed. Maybe that is intentional, but it feels like it lessens the impact when every time something happens the viewer is going “well yeah, of course”.

I really have to agree. They can start with that time line, but only on the surface, and only to show the layer being peeled back. As of now the show is smacking of being so sharp it could cut both ways…
