Eldora is ready to make her exit!

Sorry for the delay on this episode, but we are getting close to the ending of Selector Spread Wixoss and I can’t wait to see if Ruuko actually manages to meet Tama in the real world or are will they spend eternity trying to find each other?! I have no idea!

We are towards the end but I don’t see any craziness stopping anytime soon. Though the award for “Best Fruitcake” in the series goes to Akira. Seriously, to have the kind of plan she has in mind, the girl has definitely lost all her screws.

Second place goes to Mayu, whose actions seem to become more irrational the less things go her way. It’s difficult to predict what she’ll do next.

    • skylion says:

I don’t think she is irrational. Left alone, with no care, she is giving in to very self centered viewpoints. It’s not hard to trace that to sophistical tendencies…

It’s not getting saner anytime soon. Ep11 sheds even more crazy light into what is going on.

Also, it seems that the site is being overwhelmed by the spam catcher. Past week it has been slow. When the boss lady goes on holiday, the spammers come out to play.

@Fosh: This question is out of nowhere, but did you drop Nanatsu no Taizi? It’s been quite a while since that series’ last post.

    • Foshizzel says:

I’m still watching it but planning on doing a mid season review around 12 or 13 since its 25+ episodes lol

      • BlackBriar says:

It’s doing better than expected and easily became one of my favorites for the season. Especially with a cool, carefree badass like Ban joining the group.

      • skylion says:

It’s a fun cool show. I don’t blame fosh for this format, as a two cour show is kinda a crazy thing to do solo. With that in mind Highway has two two cour shows he has to do….

        When do I get mine!

        • skylion says:

correction: Highway has three. Shigatus. Parasyte. and Shiro Bako.

        • BlackBriar says:

You do, except they’re split cour. 😉

          • skylion says:

Not really, split cour doesn’t have the same feel as a straight one…

            • BlackBriar says:

Because you know it’s not going to end right away. That’s the greatest difference.

            • Highway says:

Actually, that’s not really anything I ever think about with a show. I always consider every show to be ‘not ending.’ A property could always be continued.

Split cour is really no different from a single cour with another single cour sequel. And really, in the middle of a season, a two-cour show is almost no different. It’s really just at that break between seasons that it’s different, and perhaps I’m the kind of guy that has less of an issue with it, specifically because I’m not really ever looking forward to any new shows that are coming out. I don’t feel particularly trapped by the fact of having 3 shows continuing, but skylion probably would because he looks forward to new shows.

I would feel trapped as well. Though I’d be content with whatever’s currently playing, I’m always looking forward to new shows. At time, depending on what they’re about, it feels like they can’t come soon enough.

Yeah, I have to admit, that the start of a season is like Christmas/Birthday for me. And since I started writing here, the First Impression, or the outlook on doing them, is doubly so.

What can I say, I’m an anxious sort of person…
