No Game No Life – 10

NGNL (4)

I love all the girls of No Game No Life!

Yes it is time for some epic moments with No Game No Life and damn after that previous episode I can’t wait to get back into things with Sora and Shiro working together! So what did you like this week?!

Sora And Shiro Are Back!

NGNL (2)

Shiro and Sora are together again! Hooray!!

Yes the epic team of Sora and Shiro are back in our lives and I swear whenever I see them together it just brings a smile to my face because we really never know what kind of hilarious event set off by Sora! Like that deep talk about taking a bath with the girls to develop a stronger bond as a team? Way to sell it bro, but I knew it would never work out like he planned! So what was the funniest moment for you? It is hard for me to decide but i did like the moment when Sora and Kurami tried their best to embarrass each other! I guess the memory swap is going to help bring Kurami and Fil closer to the current team and it managed to open the door for a lot of perverted moments such as Fil demanding that Jibirl to kiss her feet because of the past? Wow who knew that Fil had such a sadistic side? That and I kept laughing every time they took shots at each other! I guess it might be a while till they become friends.

NGNL (7)

Sora and Shiro defeated by sunlight good job Warbeasts.

Besides all of the funny moments found in this episode the serious stuff like learning  Kurami was originally a slave that worked for Fli’s family?! That was surprising to me, but I guess that set up brought the two of them together and thankfully she was a nice master and not some abusive type, but after all of that we finally get to see Sora and Shiro challenge the Warbeasts to a game and it seems that Izuna is afraid of the Warbeast queen for some reason or is she just intimidated? I guess she could be under a lot of pressure to perform her duties in the game? Speaking of the game did anyone else besides myself think that we were going to see that FPS magic game from the first episode? For some reason I assumed that was a game created by the Warbeasts; however the real game looks to be some kind of simulation of Tokyo? What is the game even about? Buying things and living the otaku dream or did they figured out Sora and Shiro’s ultimate weakness and us it against them? Then again how would they even get such info in the first place?

Extra Fun Games

NGNL (1)

May they have beautiful yet creepy looking children.

NGNL (3)

Living the not so good life…

NGNL (5)

Damn you steam-kun!

NGNL (6)

Izuna-“Bow before me noobs! Please.”

End thoughts

Well damn this was a really fantastic episode filled with hilarious comedy, ecchi moments, surprise twists and WTF endings! Now we just have to wait for Sora and Shiroto get out of their funk and overcome their fear of being outside, but I guess that is where Steph and Jibirl come into play right? Also why is Izuna  afraid of the queen? Is it pressure to perform or something else and what is with the Tokyo simulation game anyway?

About

Is huge anime fan from Florida! who loves to watch anime and also enjoys drawing and collecting pictures, my favorite genre of anime has to be Mecha, there is just something awesome about giant robots beating the crap out of each other! Other than that type of show, I love a good comedy or action series :D

Metal Gear Ino. Will kick all asses at E3.

I am concerned that there is still a lot of stuff to cover in the next 2 episodes. Including another furo scene. It still amuses me how they keep breaking the mood in the show/series: They’re getting serious and discussion about seriousness… then turn into stick figures after the punchline. Sora getting psyched up and all ready to kick some a$$ when: Nyo Game Nyo Life.

As an aside, I was randomly flipping through the side roles and reading snickering facepalming being a Jibril (entitled to, see halo in avatar) at all the commentary about the characterizations especially that of Sora and “how unlikeable, annoying, blahblah” he is. All I have to say is: They’ve already lost the game before they even started. 😛

Dat ending LOL…”We can’t win in our own world” oh boy..

Blank’s second weakness has been exposed!!! And that weakness is (drumroll)…. Reality!!!

Yeah, give Sora some props for even trying, but really it would have been more steam even if the ladies saw things his way. The Law must be upheld on our end. Stupid censors…

My stab at the Tokyo Simulation. The game reads the minds of the strongest players and find’s the weakness. Yeah, the Warbeast’s cannot read minds, but their games can!

I’m just sad there are only 2 more episodes to go. 🙁

      Season 2 when?

      • skylion says:

        Summer ’14?

        • Sumairii says:

We can only hope. I doubt it’ll happen so soon like that, but surely within a year? It’s certainly got the popularity to back it up.

          • BlackBriar says:

It could happen. I mean, Date A Live S2 aired exactly a year after the first season. And for this Summer, we’ll have sequels of Free and Fate/Kaleid liner Prisma Illya when their priors aired the year before.

I would seriously wait until at least LN 9 comes out. Volume 6 isn’t exactly a good place to end a second season.

        • BlackBriar says:

          If only we’re that lucky.

    • BlackBriar says:

The feeling’s mutual for this and a handful of other series. We’re at that time of the season again.

If she’s not speaking or helping her brother overpower opponents in their games, Shiro makes for a nice mascot. So cute you’re tempted to pet her head. Smart move making a mutual bond before tackling the approaching obstacle. Everything would fall apart should infighting spring up and get out of hand.

One of the funniest parts was the introduction Sora suggested. Jibril had to have been soft in the head from throws of battle during the Great War. Causing mass elf genocide over something petty like bumping her head because of anti-flight wards is beyond excessive. The Ten Commandments established a forced peace but it’s done nothing to cool the animosity between the different classes. Jibril and Fi are prime examples.

So Clammy and Fi’s relationship is a master-servant type. That was a surprise. Upon finding that out, I had the roles reversed in my mind as Clammy seemed to be the one making the decisions between them up to this point. Fi’s sadistic side raised eyebrows. Who else thought she was more of a reserved masochist?

Oh, the werebeasts are playing dirty. This method is below the belt. Having to play a game in the very place Sora and Shiro resented so much and were desperate to leave behind. If Blank were to be thought of as Superman, then Tokyo is their kryptonite. 😉

For them (elvii) it may have been a massacre, but for Jibril… IT WAS TUESDAY!

      Fii is an example of the trope “Beware the quiet ones” while Jibril is “Beware the silly ones”. Obviously someone has been hanging around tvtropes too much… ^^;;

As for why they are in Pseudo-Tokyo, hopefully they will explain next week or else read Chapter 11 for reasoning.

why volume 6 wont be a good place to end second season?is it because this finished in cliffhanger?
