Here we are episode twelve and only one more to go before the final episode! So what is going on so far? Nothing much besides the red and blue king fighting in the woods and Shiro revealing that he is the silver king to Kuro and Neko?! I can’t wait to see where things end up this time, but I am flying solo this week while Kyokai takes a short break for RL stuff. Also testing an experiment so enjoy some Fosh subs… |
Konfusing body swaps?

So, how did Shiro become the way he is now? Simple my friends, it was a case of random body swapping which explains why that guy on the blimp went all crazy, dance with a dead body and ultimately blowing himself up. But, who is this evil ghost person aka the colorless king? Honestly it felt like I was watching the original FMA. In that series one of the characters jumped from body to body to stay alive for a long time and now the colorless king is using Kukuri as his temporary vessel. I can assume he has his mind set on taking over Mikoto or Reisi’s body. While we are talking about that, did anyone else notice that Kukuri was talking to herself? I thought it was kind of funny; however, there was that one line at the end where she was begging for someone to save her? I was like OMG you better hurry the hell up Shiro.

Reisi-“Damn I forgot my marshmallows!” Mikoto-“It’s cool I will wait here for you to get them.”
Gold King x Silver King? The ultimate bromance?
Neko-“Shiro, can I please keep the loli girl?!” Shiro-“Sure if you promise to feed her.” Anna-“….”
While Shiro befriends both lieutenants of Homura and Scepter 4 into helping him track down the colorless king, he had a short phone call with the gold king, which is the lieutenant of the silver king from the past! That was a nice moment between them even though it seemed like they were MORE than friends… At least that was the vibe I was getting from their chat. Also Mikoto and Reisi’s fight seems to be getting more intense with each passing episode, but I am curious to see how they wrap it or will the colorless king pop up to mess things up?! Also Shiro’s anti-gravity power was kind of awesome because it explains how he managed to survive after falling through the gyms roof. However, I think that is not the only thing his power allows him to do; he also seems to have the ability to amplify other powers like how he gave Neko’s illusion ability a boost to cover the entire school.

Short post this week because most of it was about the fighting between Homura and Scepter 4, but again I wanted see more fighting with Makoto and Reisi! I feel we are getting ripped off or maybe the animation budget is really intense so we can’t get any real fight scenes between the powerful kings? Not that it is killing K for me because I still enjoy it a lot. Speaking of kings, we can finally say all the pieces of Shiro’s past have been found. Sadly we only have one episode left which doesn’t leave a whole lot of room to wrap things up for me. What else was enjoyable? Oh right Neko and Anna siting in the same chair? Whooaaa the moe levels of them combined was amazing! I wish we could watch them talk for a while. Also we didn’t get to see more fighting between Fushimi, Yata and Kuro? That would have been nice to see… Oh right I liked that quick shot of Rikio with his red glowing eyes! WHOA That was really intense. So, readers, what were the highlights of this episode for you?

The idea of Shiro’s sacrifice sounds plausible but hits a roadblock with the fact he’s actually the Silver King and that he’s immortal. Falling from the blimp, crashing through the roof of the school gym and finally hitting the ground did nothing to kill him.

Finally some answers. I can say that Weismann cleared up a big number of things with just one carefully thought out explanation. Body swapping always makes a bad situation worse. And he makes Shiro look invincible and like a pimp with Neko wrapping her arms around him.
LOL at Neko for being possessive. Her confrontation with Seri was practically saying “Back off, bitch! Don’t touch him! He’s mine! All mine!!”. She sure is the devoted servant type but almost to the point of being a stalker.
The clan civil war intensifies and Kuroh the badass steps in to try and make peace. I appreciate the noble effort but I knew he’d be turned down. When there’s a war going on, it seems any potential peace makers get silenced in various manners so both sides can start the selfish bloodshed. And it’s obvious Mikoto and Reisi aren’t going to come to terms until one of them is bruised and broken but their fight is impressive.
The big surprise was the Gold King turning out to be the Lieutenant Weismann during World War II. Serious WTF moment there. Was anyone else shocked?

Neko is always doing something crazy and she really is super protective over Shiro! Especially around other girls? Either that or she just does not like others getting near him. Best stalker though! I want a cute cat girl stalker-type…

Yeah that was a nice reveal huh? It was a bit shocking, but I kind of figured it out thanks to Kyokai mentioning the past events with Weismann.

Kukuri/Colorless King was talking to himself because the Colorless King has merged/captured the other two kings. If you look at that scene, one personality has a green aura while the other one is kinda purplish. I think his grand plan was to absorb the powers of all the kings and become the king of kings.
