Dream Demons everywhere!
Welcome back to the land of dreams! So, last week I did something random! I sent some Karaoke files over to CrazyDave, one of the members of the Sccsav who handles the recording. He makes a soundtrack for each week’s Karaoke; my songs are on the 11.5 file, but feel free to download the others! After the previous episode full of plot and drama, let’s see how this episode continues with the plot.
This week it’s all about Yumeji making the tough choice on how to deal with Isana’s dream demon. He soon finds out about Chizuru having her own demon as well. He confronts her trying to find out if she is an enemy or an ally. Meanwhile Hercules is up to his dream stealing ways, he also gets some information from Maze on Merry and Engi.
What kinds of dreams does Chizuru have? One word Prison.
Meet Leon! Chizuru’s imaginary friend.
So, Chizuru gets more than a shock, learning Isana is next on Mistilteinn’s hit-list. We also get to meet her true demon, Tim. Why do all the male demons have such American names? We have Leon, Chris and John doe! Anyway, Chizuru returns home to decide what to do next. In the mean time Merry and Yumeji hang out with Isana watching her paint.
Isana- “Bro, you got to paint from the HEAARRTT!”
As Chizuru lies in her room, she has a flashback to her childhood and we get our usual sad story with her parents dying and leaving her alone. During this time she doesn’t have many friends or any emotion, she enters a daydream and meets Tim and instantly forms a contract with him. Well, she was easy! She liked the idea anyway.
She was such a cute child!
Chizuru- “This floor…is like wood and stuff, hope I don’t get a splinter!”
This so could have been a pantsu shot, good work J.C. Staff, no fanservice!
While everyone lies around doing nothing, Maze goes back to Hercules to grovel and suck up to him. He takes care of some random girl and her demon with lots and lots of fire! But he tells Maze to leave Merry and Engi alone. Well, he does have Mistilteinn to do his dirty work for him.
Duuudeee, this rain is like wet and stuff!
Yes, little girl, it’s an all you can eat BBQ!

Yumeji “Chizuru, Join my harem!” Chizuru-“Yumeji no ecchi…..”
After Chizuru runs from Yumeji’s question about being an ally or a foe, we finally get to see who Mistilteinn is bound to! The creepy Mr. Ryouta wins the prize on this one. The episode ends on a happy note with Isana and Merry going off to take a bath; sorry no screen shots for that this time!

Merry “What the hell is that?” Isana “It’s a moe fish! DUHHH!”

End Thoughts:
This episode had plenty of drama and suspense built up! Lots of dream demons up to random things. It was nice to see Yumeji reaching out to Yui and Engi for suggestions on how to help Isana, sounds like Yumeji and Merry will still end up fighting off her demon. Let’s hope they don’t destroy her dreams forever, then again Merry is the main character so I am sure she will pull something off.
Chizuru is starting to become an interesting character so far, I want to know more about Leon! He had a very cool looking design and I am a sucker for neon green. Also those crystals she was gathering behind Mistilteinn’s back, I want to know what role they will end up playing! Maybe they are going to be used as a weapon against Hercules?
Now that all the main demons are shown to us, I wonder if there are any more surprises left to use? Other than Saki and Takateru, there are no more people to really use. Speaking of Saki and Takateru! Seems like those two are getting along quite well, for side characters I like how they are slowly progressing. Not that it plays much into the main storyline; it still is refreshing to watch that unfold.

Next week! The big showdown between Merry and Mistilteinn, hopefully they have an awesome fight! However, we will have to wait for a bit to get the next episode due to the massive earthquake most shows will be on a break. Which is fine as they have enough to honestly worry about. Great episode! I liked how they introduced Hercules but I do wonder how is Merry (a hand in hand combat girl) going to fight someone who can shroud himself in flames?? Hmmm…
I really hope Isana is alright, she's my favourite in Yumekui, that crazy teacher better stay away from her. Engi still reminds me of Erza and maybe even the personality as well!
Maze is annoying, I want him to die FAST! Do you know how disappointed I was when he survived Hercules fire?

Hahha yes very cute Isana! I do like how close Yumeji and Isana are! Not in a romantic way of course.
Yeah Merry versus Mistilteinn should be a great episode! Since both are somewhat melee fighters. Mistilteinn does have her vines so she might be at an advantage. I really hope we get to see Merry with her keys again! If she can remember how to summon them.
Isana should be alright, but for drama I can see them destroying her dream, lets hope Merry has a hidden power to stop a dream demon and save the humans dream.
Awww don’t like Maze? I love that design! I used to draw this character back in elementary school, a giant eyeball alien hahah probably why I Like his design so much. He is the “clown” character so i guess he will stick around as a joke.
Tim looks good! Looks like a boss character from some RPG.

Yeah.. I don’t really like Maze :\ But Tim looks more like a heroin than a villain, which makes things more interesting xD
Yumeji and Isana make the best “bro and sis” combination without being actual bro and sis’s. When Merry used those key’s, I didn’t quite understand what was happening, everything started to crumble and etc, I’d love to see it again ;D

Engi IS Play Amado xD It translates to Play (well, it actually translates to acting but you don’t call someone acting so something that sounded like a good name that’s close to acting is a play, thus Play is Engi)

how many more episodes to go? i’m kinda annoyed at the number of plot setting up episodes to be honest, not enough explanations/action/shots of merry’s oh so beautifully drawn stomach, i need one or the othar! me impatient me want more merry

I checked last night and it says 13 episodes, I don’t think it will bet bumped up for a while. Hahaha they have cut back on shots of her stomach, But they probably will knock out another season one day.
