Toaru Majutsu no Index II – 11

This week has felt so long to me, not sure why but seems to be a slow week. Lots of fall season shows ending too! There are a few I will miss, thankfully a few of them have more episodes. Kind of shocked Star Driver only has thirteen episodes! Didn’t it start out to have some 20+? Anyway, guess we must prepare for winter! Are you excited for new shows?? New season of anime means new fan art for me to draw! Index II will continue so that makes me happy at least.

This week on Index II has a filler-like feel to it with nothing major going on. We start back with Mikoto’s mom talking about her boobs to her daughter which instantly gets Touma’s dads attention and Touma picks on Index. Big boob Index…doesn’t work for me, she would look too strange! After a few laughs, we rejoin Oriana talking to a mystery woman dressed in white from the church, hanging out in a random hotel lobby. Tsuchimikado then uses his magic to track her as Stiyl and Touma run a marathon looking for her.

Mikoto escapes her mom’s attention and runs off. Kuroko smells her and zooms in to get some attention but runs into a tree. Real smooth driving; you need some power slide lessons! Or a chair like mine, totally electric powered. Kuroko then points out Touma “measuring” Index’s waist and mistakes it for her being pregnant with his child. She attacks him of course and Touma has to do a forced escape from a combo attack by Kuroko and Mikoto.

Driver failure, I have actually done this before…not fun… lol

Thanks to rage punch from Mikoto, Touma then gets dragged off by Himegami who then blushes holding his hand for the week’s Awwww moment. Stiyl and Touma then catch a subway train and loose connection with Tsuchimikado, who then has a fight with Oriana. Finally someone else fights instead of Touma! His fight against her was definitely different.

Creepy grin is creepy!

After the strange fight between the magicians and a clever bluff from Tsuchimikado about getting back up from Kanzaki, Oriana runs off and bumps into Komoe and Himegami. But she spots a cross on Himegami’s neck and uses some magic spells on her causing her blood to suddenly burst! I seriously thought I was watching Shiki instead of Index…

Touma and Stiyl arrive to a shocked Komoe who is crying and explaining who attacked Himegami. Damn Oriana made her cry! So mean! Stiyl then tells Touma to continue the search for Oriana, who runs off angry with another friend being attacked.

I shouldn’t have entered the all you can eat chicken wing contest!

End thoughts

First half was kind of boring for me but had plenty of comedy moments with Mikoto’s mom with her breast growth jokes. Also getting to see Index actually not attack Touma was a shock! But I assume it was due to his parents and Mikoto being there. Can’t wait to see who the mystery nun is as well, she looked a bit strange sitting there. I guess her clothes are normal to people? Someone should question her.

Second half was decent, getting to see Tsuchimikado actually fight and not Touma for once with his speech followed by the usual treatment of filler bosses. The fight itself was strangely suggestive too with Oriana’s choice in “positions” Tricking her with his bluff was great too and learning his mage name Fallere825 aka ‘the back-stabber’ as he basically works for anyone as long as he gets paid.

Last bit was sad seeing Komoe crying over Himegami who exploded! That was a lot of blood, like I said earlier, seemed like a bit too much for this show. I think it has something to do with the code name Deep Blood in the previous season. If this doesn’t get Touma to spring into action I have no idea what will, either way Oriana is going to be hurting really soon! In other words, you are going down, bitch!

Wait, Kuroko blushing? Is this Armageddon? No? Next episode, everyone gets involved, even Seiri is up and walking around. Hopefully they find Oriana and stop her for good! Or try too anyway? Guess we will have to wait and see who else gets to fight her.
