It’s sooo COLD! My hands and feet are freezing while typing this… >.> Where the hell are my socks. Brrrr! Officially Monday is gone but there are still four more days to the weekend!!! Graaah. I want my weekend now. I had no fun this weekend… well, a bit but… =3=
Moving on to update, I’ve completed eight categories till now (Woo~ Just one more to go after this):

This was not as difficult as the Male nominations because well, I’m a girl and I like boys. You get the picture. Also a point to note, I like strong girls being one myself. Not boasting here but all the whimpery girls are off my list. Get a life or stand up for yourself, I don’t like whining! As you all know, this is in no particular order but of course, except for the first one. Biased! Without any further ado:
1. Nino – Arakawa Under the Bridge/x Bridge
Aah Nino, how I love thee~ No, it’s not a lesbian crush but this character is just made of love. No one and I mean it; no one can ignore her beauty and innocent vulnerability. Being a blonde doesn’t mean that she’s a bimbo, even when societal norms escape her periphery of understanding, she has a very strong sense of right/wrong and usually she’s uncannily right. Three cheers for the awesome Venusian!
2. Kanade – Angel Beats!
The Loli Tenshi. She has amazing powers and her ultimate goal to save everyone is just golden. Of course a lot of misunderstanding happens around her but how can you hate a loli who likes to eat Mapo Curry so endearingly?
3. Yurippe – Angel Beats!
She is the leader of SSS and pulled the whole gang about in a tight leash thread. You gotta admire a woman like that. Who is a leading strategist and never shies away from responsibility.
4. Anri – Durarara!!
Such a silent bomb. I mean, you would expect a meganekko being voiced by Kana as another one of those shy girls, who not only hide behind their megane but are slight and dependent on others. Boohoo! Naa-uhh! She has an ancient katana fused with her body and actually empowers over it because of lack of emotions in her. Did you get that katana part? Not your everyday meganekko fo sho.
5. Togame – Katanagatari
Togammmeee!!! You are too cute for your own good. She has many sides to her, every one different with their own existence. I guess, she really got explained in the last episode while we were just seeing one side of the mirror before. I will let you discover her yourself though you haven’t met such a sassy strategist before.
6. Saeko – HOTD
My favorite line about her is Saeko is Saiko!!! She is strong, can kick your butt, very dere in favourable circumstances, can kick your butt, awesome zombie killer and can kick your butt. You know what I’m getting at, right? Don’t get on her yandere side or else you won’t even see that I am wet!
7. Misaki – Kaichou wa Maid-sama!
Another strong girl, who actually has an explained background of how she turned Tsundere. If a character is just tsun without reason, I want to smack them on upside the head because, “Hey, WTF is your problem?!” Misaki is not though and her dere is more than cute. She deserves a guy like Usui? Hell yeah!
8. Mio, Yui, Tsumugi, Azusa and Ritsu – K-On!!
The moe porn of the year, who everyone loves! And I don’t mean it the wrong way! It’s the moe shizznit! Don’t even ask me to make a different entry for band members because well, there are favourites among them for different people and I so don’t want to mess with them.
9. Tsukimi – Kuragehime
The Jellyfish Hime-chan~ She is such a lovable character, so what if she’s a hardcore otaku? She’s adorable the way she is, whatever her appearance may change to. It’s sometimes amazing to note people’s behavior change based on something as flimsy as outwardly appearance. There’s so much hidden talent in her, I hope Kuranosuke inspires her enough to make a successful designer out of her.
10. Zakuro – Otome Youkai Zakuro
Yeah, the name of the series pretty much entails the storyline and who is important. She’s a feisty one and a typical tsundere, another with-reason as well. She’s a good kid and has cat ears. How can you go wrong with that?
11. Panty & Stocking – PnS
Yeah, time for some penis. Whaaa?! Well, Panty would be interested in that but what do you know, Stocking has a different set of wants altogether. This pair sure made it hella interesting to watch PnS and whatever you say about it, I liked this weird type of crack. And crack is always good! xD
12. Akashi – Tatami Galaxy
Another role by Sakamoto Maaya. Yeah, call me biased but she turns golden every character she voices and Akashi is the same. She’s the maiden who Watashi wants to confess to but usually fails. She is shown to be a very strong woman of straight values. Not to mention, her fear from moths is just kawaaaiii! I agree with Yuzu, Tatami Galaxy needs MOAR love.
13. Maya – Occult Academy
She was so tsun that I thought I would never see her dere but I did and loved it. She is the sole heroine of this series and does a job well done in knowing everything about the Occult and solving every mystery that comes her way. It was good to see her character transition from a rock to a girl who can actually be vulnerable. I just hope she got Fumiaki in the end.
14. Kirino – OreImo
I hate this girl, like seriously. Imagine her being a totally pervy teenager who plays eroge as if her life depended on it. When her brother finds out her big secret and decides to show his support, she should have been at the top of the world rather than smacking him randomly and raining down many Kimo~ UGHHH! Sorry, I don’t have anything good to say about her at all.
15. Mikoto – Index II
Supposedly she was to be sidetracked by Index in getting Touma’s attention because well, she actually lives with him but she has been so thoroughly useless this season that the Railgun heroine, Mikoto has taken over. She is one of the most powerful espers in town and wow, she can sure use it. She has definitely stood out and deserves the spot.
16. Nodame – Nodame Cantabile Finale
Mukyaaaaa~! She is a weird one alright; highly eccentric and amazingly talented. Not a very good combination in case of an artist but when it’s time to shine, she can do it even better than the pros. You have to adore her. Even if you don’t like classical music, this series is honey to ears.
Honourable Mentions, because I’m awesome:
- Susukihotaru in Otome Youkai Zakuro. Sad, she hasn’t gotten her name up in the title. Though I liked her a lot too.
- Amagami SS girls. My favourites being Kaoru, Nanasaki and Ayatsuji. Well, because they were awesome.
- Mio and Yuno in MM! They sure made me laugh.
- Elcea in TWGOK. She had her moments.
- Sigyn in Break Blade. She is strong and I like strong women! :3
- Ferris from LoLH. She fights really well and can give anyone a run for their money. I like girls who can take care of themselves.
- Chizuru from Hakuouki S02. I don’t like girls who can’t take care of themselves. Next!
- Haruka from Psychic Detective Yakumo. She is sooo cute! Also, she understands Yakumo, a good thing in my books.
- Hotori from Soredemo Machi wa Matteiru. She was funny when she tried.
- Wako from Star Driver. At least she’s not one of those extra moe or typical tsundere heroines. Props to her.
- Index from Index II. What have you been doing except for biting Touma and being overly hungry in the second season? What? I CAN’T HEAR YOU! Right, nothing. Sorry, you are OUT!

Yurippe because SHE’S AS TOUGH AS NAILS AND A HECK OF A LEADER (the villainy is a nice touch xD )
Kanade because of that last scene with Otonashi, though I ship Yuri x Otonashi
Misaki because of her epic tsundere-ness, her scenes with Usui, and her incredible drive
Tsukimi because she is too cute!!I instantly fell in love with her and Kuranosuke the moment I started watching Kuragehime (which was yesterday afternoon). Otaku-ness FTW!

WHAT THE HECK THERE’S NO FERRIS!? you sux T___T
1) kanade –> she’s this kind if girl that people will love. she has this aura around her that just makes people love her. she’s quiet and doesn’t talk much, but we need more people like that in this world. she’s able to think rationally, doesn’t act according to her feelings.
2) togame –> like shichika, her character developed really well…except the last episode. like shichika, she got some surprising shit in the end, but not in a good way. still, she’s really adorable in episode 1-11. SHE’S SO CUTE IN EPISODE 8 she got brain too, which is something i don’t have.
3) nino –> she’s VENUSIAN. THAT’S WHY SHE’S AWESOME
4) tsukimi –> tsukimi is just like a mirror for me. her personality is REALLY like me. so i can’t help it but having this love-hate relationship with her. but i love her more ofc 🙂
4) anri –> i’m not really into her. she’s quiet, but when she’s mad…scary…the only thing i find interesting from her is her lack of emotion. and how big her boobs are.
5) maya –> she’s a strong girl. she’s able to think rationally, and she’ll do anything in order to get what she wants. she doesn’t get scared easily too

Yurippe, Tsukimi and HTT are my choices. Yurippe because she is the leader of the SSS, Tsukimi because of her cuteness and HTT. . . Because they were just so fun to watch. Actually, I don’t like all of the K-on girls. I love Ritsu and Yui but dislike the others. . . Ah, I just tend to like energetic girls more. Sorry, Mio fans.
Nino’s presence on this list reminds me that I need to watch Arakawa. . . I’ll get to it as soon as possible 🙂

yurippe – a great leader and she still cared for them deep down, just wish again that she and hinata had more moments in the anime.
anri – quiet but can be cool and cares for her friends, too bad she cant fall in love with mikado or else he’ll be in trouble…
saeko – (didnt finish this) but I found that she is a yandere, nuff said…
panty and stocking – dropped but they did show some awesome fights and are quite skilled.
mikoto – she can be pretty awesome, she just doesnt get shown in the spotlight much, read the manga to see.

She’s absolutely my favorite female character of the whole year!!!! eccentric and talented is an amazing combination though)))) I’m also a musician, so this anime and exceptionally Nodame-chan was a simple honey for my ears/eyes etc. *hearts* Also, I voted for Tsukimi and Anri. (Both voiced by Hanazawa Kana btw))Tsukimi is so adorably clueless about everything ^,^ And Anri earned my highest respect at the end of the series.
