First Look: Umineko no Naku Koro ni
Umineko no Naku Koro ni [Website] seems like one of the Summer Season’s much anticipated shows. Let’s get a close first look on it~

Maria looks so darn adorable!!!!!!!! And I love that psycho face~ Probably she’ll be my favorite yandere of the year XD. Battler looks just so GAR already. And add Daisuke Ono behind him, he’s one hawt GAR guy~. Jessica quite looked off in a certain part where her head looks a little unproportioned with her body. Kanon looked awesome; George looks so lean ^^… And I can’t pinpoint each and describe everyone of them but overall it’s alright. Decent quality judging by the trailer and cool OP music.
The OP is entitled “One Winged Bird” by Shikata Akiko. We get to hear that on the trailer above. I can’t wait for the actual sequence ^^. The ending theme is “la divina tragedia ~Makyoku~” by Jimang

That’s a whole lot of seiyuus out there. Not just your ordinary seiyuus, because they’re really well-picked imo. From Daisuke Ono, whom will be voicing our male lead, we have Marina Inoue, Rie Kugimiya, Yui Horie (again.. who seems to be really sleepless this season XD), Yu Kobayashi (showing versatility by voicing a male character again ^^), Kenichi Suzumura (whom I’m sooo biased with his uber-sexy voice), and lots lots more. Just from the colorful cast, it screams promising already.
The direction will be by Chiaki Kon, who’s behind the previous Higurashi no Naku Koro ni series, as well as other shows like Junjou Romantica and Hanasakeru Seishounen.
So yeah, this is one of the series that I’m sure to check out of course. I haven’t played the game one bit but I’m currently reading the manga and I’m lovin’ it. And ehem… I think you all know which characters I ship already~ *pointing up*.
I hope it would be a really good adaptation because it has a really cool horror premise. It also has a fab cast of seiyuus that’s behind interesting characters with cool designs. About its possibility of blogging, Tsui and I were still fighting thinking about it ^^;;. Overall, I’m definitely hoping that it would turn out to be a great adaptation and a psychological horror anime that would keep everyone on the edge of their seats ^^.

Why am I not surprised that Beatrice is being voiced by Sayaka Ohara? xDD
But my god, the trailer looks so awesome. I can already see myself liking all the girls at least (plus Battler, oh yea, can’t forget him xD). And I can’t believe Shikata Akiko’s singing the OP! :freeze2: I don’t really follow her but I listened to one of her sons and thought it was great. Kyaah~, Umineko looks almost too good to be true so hope it doesn’t disappoint. Though I don’t think it will in my case cuz horror and I don’t get along with each other at all. This will be an interesting first. x3;

I’m definitely watching this! The seiyuu lineup looks well-picked (ah~ some of my faves are there!), the animation looks pretty good, and I need a good horror series. I haven’t read the manga or anything, but I think I already have an OTP… :cute2:
