Ristorante Paradiso – Trailer

The manga and anime’s story is set in a restaurant in Rome that the heroine Nicoletta visits from the countryside. Her parents divorced when she was young, so her grandparents raised her while her mother Olga tried to remarry. Nicoletta goes to the restaurant owned by Lorenzo, Olga’s new husband, and ends up apprenticing there among a kitchen staff of colorful characters. [ANN]

Not the type of anime that I might even try to watch but the background art is something that should be take note of. I think it’s nicely done. That’s all I could say on this one though, the character designs were… meh.

    Ah, this reminds me of my vacation in Italy last summer. It was a very beautiful place if you ignore all the fatal prices and extremely hot weather *was on the brink of a heat stroke every five minutes* D|

    Hmm, but all the ristorantes I went to were very nice places (well, duh, they had to be since my brother dragged us practically all over Europe with that guidebook of his…stupid boy. Killed my feet. -_-; ) so that’s probably why I decided to pick this up. For the atmosphere. The designs are really meh but everything else should good…for me, anyways. ^^

    Now I want some Italian food. >.>;
