Final Fantasy Versus 13: New Pictures and Info
New pictures of FF Versus 13 characters Noctis Caellum and Stella Nox and some info about their names and personalities below.
New screencaps and scans had surfaced the net (sources: Famitsu and Google). It shows the scenario where Noctis and Stella were meeting each other.
Aww. Noct is being shy to the outgoing Stella. His awkward face explains it all.
Some info about their names (Source: Wiki)
Noctis Lucis Caelum is a Latin phrase which means, “Sky of the Night Light.”
Stella Nox are two Latin words that would mean literally, albeit incorrectly inflected, “Star of Darkness.” Fleuret is the French name of the fencing Foil, an obvious reference to the character’s shown weapon of choice.
Their personalities are also revealed. Noctis was said to be a shy character, who hides it. Tetsuya Nomura also said that his personality is a ‘first’ among the FF protagonists. On the othe hand, Stella is cheerful an social, which compliments Noctis’ awkward and shy character. Lol I thought at first that Noctis is going to be a tsundere XD…

Hmm, yea, can’t wait for this to be released. Hopefully I’ll be able sit through it for an hour and get some gameplay done. I get massive headaches while playing so I never finish any of my games. *sigh* But I want to for this game! >.<

This game is gonna be the bomb! Although it makes me wonder how they are gonna fight each other later on in the game.. I just hope that this game will come out at least spring 2010 or better, winter 2009.

I admit I’m not really keeping track of the next FF release, but.. what? They’re going to release three versions of FF13? Or do you just mean on different platforms?
Anyway, the game looks amazing, but I don’t look forward to the English dubs D: Maybe I’ll try to find a way to get a Japanese version of the game~

@Kevin Takeda: Me too. I also wonder how would they end up as enemies! I’m excited for that one. About the release, rumors said that it would be released on winter 2009.
@nazarielle: There are three separate games set in different worlds for the Final Fantasy 13 compilation (Fabula Nova…). First, the basic FF13 (PS3, XBox360); this one; and FF Agito 13 (for PSP).

@thepoop: I’m also waiting for almost like, a year for this games. I have lost my FF gaming interest since X12 but I hope this one would not disappoint me 🙂
