Well, that was a nice end for everyone around. Everyone learned lessons and the team has been solidified.

I’m wondering since Chi had that stone this whole time, why is she not one of the bests? Also she definitely seems to know much more than she lets on. Her mom seems very protective and Chi lived a pretty sheltered life. She seems to have gone on this trip to both discover herself and see what these stones are all about since she feels that her mom loves them more then her. She’s wrong, but she doesn’t know that.

Also, the girls time doing a slumber party and pillow fighting was rather adorable.

So, we shall see where our Rolling Girls end up next time on their country wide adventures!

      Ganbare!

That is one of the traits I do like about Chiaya, that she plays the cards close to the vest. She had to overplay it with the childhood nicknames, and that was a risk, but she got the girls….rolling. I love how her story is just barely told….

The stones don’t make just anyone a Best. They enhance what’s already there, so if you weren’t a best before, it’s not going to make you super. At least I thought that’s what they were trying to say.

      • skylion says:

I’m not quite sure about that, but it’s a great idea. It’s interesting to have some full exposition (boy, do I love to complain about that…..) up front, but it depends on the story. What’s interesting is that there is a chase for them, they can do something awesome…

      • Irenesharda says:

Well, I thought that’s what they were talking about in the fact that the captain stepped down and became a “rest”, while her second in command became the “best”. I’m just thinking in terms of the fact that these stones basically make you these superhuman beings called “bests” and that you become weak and average without them. Like how Ma-chan feels incredibly weak now without her stone.

Female adolescent get-togethers always look adorable.

Thanks for your thoughts! One thomg about this anime you almost to watch it tweice to catch some things!

My rambling thoughts in no order or importance!

There are two Takumi groups the one in white robes who tend to be more buidres while the black robes like to blow stuuf up!

BTW when Thunderoad was going to return Chi’s Stone it was the bonb robot she tripped over! I caaught on the rewatch How Ironic that is!

Momimiya.( The Stone Broker) is a fan of Rick and Shaw too Like Thunderoad. He bought the cart!He gave Thunderroad the Stone Back!

BTW all the heroes are fans of Comic Book heroes! Thats where the Title Dreams comes in!

The Border Crossing guard the band aid is on her cheek now!

I still have questions about communications! All the phone calls have been landline! Even when Norikos mom was chasing the Bomb she was using 120 / 440 band radio!Which leads to another? Are they in a different era . I mean the bikes the tech would seem that way!

The obvious reference to FLCL. When the girls were talking about the Momoiage Hanners up comes Chi with that bands sticker on Her Vespa. Remember Harruka’s Vespa with the Pillows Sticker!

Now they are following MaChan’s letters where they are off to next!

I liked the ED with the scenes and I tried to find that song too!

    • skylion says:

I will be on the lookout for the two Takumi groups, as I only thought there was the one.

Well, mobile communication makes thing more immediate, and that was a call, Chi to her mother, that really needed some limitation…

  3. BlackBriar says:

Nice! If ever the girls feel inclined to commit grand theft auto and want to cover their tracks, they can always go for a paint job at that garage. 😉

By the sound of the laws, how severe they are, you’d think “Always Comima” was ruled with an iron fist. Theft on the same level as murder and material possessions are more valuable than people’s lives? That’s frighteningly absurd.

At least now the girls and Thunderroad are on good terms. So the group that rigged the roller coaster a few episodes back was behind this incident. Would love to know what their goal is. Assuming they have one at all or they’re causing chaos for the hell of it.

This show is rather childish. Not that anime for the younger audience is inherently wrong, it’s just that I didn’t expect it to turn out like this on the basis of the first episode. I guess this will be sooner or later aired on Disney Channel and become a success like K-On!, ha.

    • BlackBriar says:

If so, I have a feeling that when it airs, some things will be edited out. I don’t expect those in charge to show everything.

    • Irenesharda says:

Oh, I don’t know, I’ve seen much more childish anime fare than this. It’s kind of in that mesh limbo of slice of life with sentai/shonen battles in the background.

      • BlackBriar says:

This is more like something for people in their teens to early adulthood.

    • skylion says:

I get a great sense of charm from the show, and a sense of child-like joy in the characters, but not so much child-ish.

But then I have a different radar. Paying on a multi-million dollar, to see grown men play ball games in childish to me….

I could see it getting darker later but we shall see~
