Anyone for some fishman sushi?

spring13-jrowSo we get to find out what’s up with Rudy this week, right? Err, not really, but as if Log Horizon is short on stuff to do. Fosh & I talk about the Sahaugin invasion and Minori growing into a Shiroe-type leader (except without the villain stuff… yet).

Woooooooo! Time for another thrilling episode of Log Horizon! I hope we learn more about who Rudy really is or will we focus on something completely different?

Dat Minori is quickly becoming a favorite character of mine.

I agree. During the end scene, I half expected the screen to ripple and an expanding ring appear when Minori hit the staff against the ground.

      A miko has appeared!

    • Foshizzel says:

Hell ya Skylion! Same here she is starting to become a fun character.

You could really feel the incoming threat as the episode went along. Though the Goblin King event was forgotten, you can’t blame the adventurers for it because Akihabara was a crime infested rat hole.

The thing is with the armies growing in number as time passes, some adventurers are eventually going to get killed. Which kind of makes Shiroe’s reveal about the memory loss seem inopportune. Being invaded is already a lot on the mind.

    • Foshizzel says:

Right they kind of had other things on their minds instead of doing those zone wide event quests.

I am glad Shiroe revealed the truth! I mean better late than never right?

One thing I like about this show is it doesn’t give the main character a monopoly on being right or insightful.

I like that when Shiroe revealed the thing about memory loss to everyone, Krusty wasn’t really even surprised. He’d had the exact same suspicions for some time himself and was able to provide some firsthand experience and new insight to the matter.

I really like a show that’s willing to let other characters be as insightful and capable as they are introduced as being, and doesn’t artificially stupid them down just to produce some cheap wows for the main character.
