Shingeki no Kyojin – 14

Shingeki no Kyojin 003

*snifffff* Oh mannn, can’t get enough of that Herbal Essences scent

There was no post last week because it was a filler episode dedicated to recapping everything that I’ve already blogged about. It was kind of nice to have a break during this rush of new anime anyways, as there were a lot of shows I wanted to watch. Now we’re back with an even better opening song. Yes, I didn’t think it was possible, but Guren no Yumiya has been topped. Nothing can trump power metal! Nothing!

I feel like an innocent lamb expecting verdant fields of clover whilst being lead to a slaughterhouse every time I watch this show. During the brief “hiatus” I had forgotten how brutal things are in this Titan-filled world. Perhaps it’s because most other shows tend to avoid being so deeply depressing or killing off their cast members like George R. R. Martin on a bad day. Anyways, the way the trial devolved into Levi almost caving Eren’s face in was not quite the outcome I had imagined. Trials are for dramatic yelling and maybe some lies being spit out. The worst I expected was deception, but here we have a total beatdown.

Shingeki no Kyojin 006

Well, now I officially know my feelings towards Levi: he’s great. I love how he just wails on Eren without changing his facial expression in even the slightest matter. The beauty of it all is that we know he’s actually a good leader who cares about his comrades. Perhaps that sense of duty is just so deep that violently assaulting one of those “comrades” isn’t an issue if it’s for the greater good. We all know what Levi did was to save Eren’s ass, but you’d think he’d have the decency to be at least a tiny bit apologetic afterwards.

The entire Recon corps is just a little bit off. Not so crazy that they piss themselves and babble nonsense, but crazy enough to smell Eren and offer zero explanation. It’s kind of amazing to see how effective these misfits are in the trial, and how they use that name they’ve established fro themselves to scare the police. I can’t wait to see more from them – especially Erwin. He may seem normal, but those ones are always the secret lunatics, biding their time for one MEGA psycho outburst.

It’s a huge relief that Eren is in the capable hands of the Recon corps. Not only is he with people who don’t cower away and handcuff him, but he’s with people who will accept him. Mikasa and Armin aren’t in a high enough position to properly protect him, so for now he’ll have to deal with being separated from them. That’s fine with me, because Mikasa is cooler when she’s not being a mother hen and Armin is really starting to fill his shoes as an expert tactician. Did you see him in the OP covered in blood and not giving a flying fuck? Yeah, that’s the kind of Armin I want to see, and it’s more likely to happen when Eren isn’t hogging the spotlight.

Shingeki no Kyojin 004Shingeki no Kyojin 007

Now, let’s get back to that trial for a second. You know what it reminded me of? Those witch trials they had where they’d condemn some poor wretch for “witchcraft” and then burn them at the stake. At least, that seemed to be the general mindset of the police. Persecution out of fear of the unknown. They were so overcome with this fear that they chose to avoid thinking of any ways to utilize Eren. I know he is a dangerous person, but the benefits outweigh the costs. This is a war the humans are losing, and they can’t continue as they are now. Eren really lays it on them, telling them to just let him fight since they’re so scared. That fear leads them to almost shoot Eren then and there for doing nothing more than screaming.

We’ve known this city has been plagued by cowardly rich people for quite some time. It’s nice to see them completely back down when Levi asks them if they’re capable of killing Eren. Ahh, I love seeing a wimpy villain get what’s coming. It felt so good! I really loved the trial because it was the perfect mix of gentle persuasion and violently kicking a teenage boy in the ribs. The winner wasn’t decided solely by wits, but by a mix of things. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a trial with…action. I also enjoyed how Eren learned about his murder attempts on Mikasa when it was just off-handedly mentioned. That’d one hell of a way to learn that you tried to swat your own half-sister down like a fly. I wonder if that will come to haunt him later on when he has time to think. I guess that will come after he freaks out over having his regenerative abilities start kicking in while he’s in human form as well. The tooth fairy is gonna hate this kid.

Shingeki no Kyojin 002

In good hands…indeed.

This week was another exciting episode that really highlights the difference between the cowards and the brave. This sounds like the start of a really cool arc with new characters and new missions. Bring it on! It’s only a matter of time before these guys “unexpectedly” die, after all. I’d bet on that.

Preview: Eren gets used to working with the Recon Corps. It’s not easy because they’re all insane, and one of them wishes she could dissect him.

Actually, the Police we’re afraid of the Social Ramifications. At least, that’s what they were telling themselves. See, by acknowledging Eren’s existence instead of just quietly killing him off invites all sorts of social problems, not least of which is the wallists, who have a decent amount of political clout, surprised you didn’t mention them.

Also, no love for the new ending? Come on, it was freaking epic! Really helped us love the squad mates all the more, imo. Also, I’m laughing on the inside at how many things they cleverly foreshadow, now that I know what to look for.

    • Namika says:

That’s definitely true, but if you just lay out these two problems, titans seem much more important than social aspects. The latter can be solved by a couple of correct rumors spread by some correct people and that’s it. On the other hand, the problem with titans is just huge and they need to start thinking how to effectively deflect their attacks, otherwise humanity will no longer exist. So if they decided to kill Eren and didn’t have enough brains to understand that humanity would benefit from that power much more than it would lose, then I think those people wouldn’t even be worth saving.

    • Overcooled says:

That’s true, but the social aspect wasn’t as interesting to me because it didn’t cause them to physically cower in fear. What they were really afraid of was Eren breaking loose and slaughtering them. I’m just not a big fan of those kinds of politics.

The ED is a lot better than the old one. I’ll probably actually listen to this one each week whereas the old one was an insta-skip.

      • Highway says:

The old ED was excellent… once it got to the chorus. I mentioned before that very few can match Hikasa Youko in full voice. It’s just too bad that it takes the song too long to get there, and the intro just doesn’t work for casual listening.

        • Namika says:

The problem with that ending was that (especially) in the second part the visuals didn’t fit the music at all. That song needed something more vivid, detailed and a lot more motion.

  2. Highway says:

The new OP is better, but still not that great to my ears. I don’t like that style of metal as much as something like the neo-metal Mouretsu Pirates OP. More Drums always is better. 🙂

We’re reminded again and again and again about what complete cowards pretty much everyone is in this show. It’s to the point where I’m surprised anyone stands up to anything. Heck, they all seem to flinch if you say “kyojin!” and make scary hands. Of course, if you’re not just running away, the show makes you get eaten.

    • BlackBriar says:

About new OPs, did you hear the new one for Mushibugyou? It’s in a completely different tone from the first one but it sounds awesome. I immediately found myself hooked to it.

      OP 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQQ_6qXVJeM
      OP 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=db6iyPNzzXU

Kyojin does a job of reflecting on humanity’s obscure nature and it’s in all of us whether we like it or not. The minute the sound of a possible threat comes along, they’re already acting out of irrationality and fear and ready to turn violent like a light switch. The cowardly ones who don’t put up a fight against always get their just desserts and it’s in the worst way imaginable.

      • Overcooled says:

I like the Mouretsu OP (which I actually hadn’t listened to before) but I’m not so hot on the Mushibugyou one.

Yes, I love how terrified everyone has become. Remember when people who hadn’t seen any Titans used to be cocky? They can’t even manage that now, given the damage done.

  3. BlackBriar says:

The new OP sounds good but it’ll take time to get used to. Eren’s last name suits him well. It was only after I saw the movie “Pacific Rim” that I understood what “Jaeger” means. It’s German for “Hunter”. And what do we have in the new OP? German lyrics.

Damn, Levi! I understand what the guy did was to save Eren but man, was that brutal. Mikasa would have killed him if Armin didn’t hold her back. I’d hate to see him run a boot camp. All the cadets will break in no time. Nonetheless, doing what he did to save another, he’s a true badass.

We all know what Levi did was to save Eren’s ass, but you’d think he’d have the decency to be at least a tiny bit apologetic afterwards.

NCIS Rule #1: Never apologize. It’s a sign of weakness. 😀

To me, I see the Recon Corps as a group of outcasts much Kyousuke Hyoubu’s gang PANDRA in Zettai Karen Children but here they’re more socially accepted because they get the job done and Eren couldn’t have been in a better place. For a moment when she rushed his cell, I mistook Hange for Sasha. They look so much alike. I can’t wait to see everyone go all out from here on.

    • Karakuri says:

And what do we have in the new OP? German lyrics.

There were German lyrics in the first OP too.

      Seid ihr das Essen?
      Nein, wir sind der Jäger!

      • Irenesharda says:

The whole first line of the Guren no Yumiya is German as well as all the background chorus voices, and the full single has even more German in it. (reminds you of E Nomine and Rammstein)

Sie sind das Essen und wir sind die Jäger!
“They are the prey (food) and we are the hunters!”

Eren’s surname is all over the 1st OP.

    • Namika says:

Oh, there’s so much more than German lyrics in the opening. So much that I’m getting a little scared for some characters TT^TT

He’s badass, and he’s admirable. But he’s too coldblooded. Just what that world needs but still, he’s too cruel. Show some emotions, dude TT^TT

Zoe totally looks like Sasha. If it wasn’t for the glasses I would legit think she’s Sasha.

  4. JPNIgor says:

Firstly, I would like to say that I definitely didn’t like the OP theme. It sounds like a hymn… It’s annoying to hear it, actually.

Funny thing that Eren can regenerate it’s body as a human while he can’t do so as a titan… Considering that he will be in action as a titan most of the time, I think it is a disadvantage.

And what’s with those wallists? .-. Talk about annoying thing. But it made me wonder, from where the hell did those huge walls come from? How did they build it without attracting the attention from the titans? Maybe they were a god’s creation after all…

    • Irenesharda says:

Well, actually its weird. Sometimes his body does regenerate as a Titan, and sometimes it doesn’t. When we first see him in Titan form and he punches out a Titan, his flesh immediately begins to knit back together over exposed bones. When he tried to punch Mikasa and even hit himself, his flesh didn’t regenerate which is why they had smoke covering his hands and face. However, once Eren “woke up”, both his hands and face regenerated back to normal. I think it might be that it’s only when Eren is conscious of what he’s doing in Titan form, that his Titan body regenerates. If he’s out of control or merely runs out of juice like when all the Titans were ganging up on him during his first outing, that he no longer is able to regenerate his Titan flesh.

However, when Eren is Eren, he is always conscious, and therefore always able to regenerate, however, there comes the question as to why he was never like this before (after his dad injected him, but before he got eaten)? Did he have to “die” for his powers to activate?

As for the new OP, I like it. It’s not as good as the first one, but it’s really good. It actually reminds me more of a national anthem or military song in the beginning, before turning into rock version of said anthem.

      • JPNIgor says:

Hm… Something like “Oh, your titan powers have awakened when you were at the brink of death” is probably the easiest conclusion I can come up with. Maybe he always had the regenerative ability but never really needed it and he never had passed through a live or die situation between the timeline of him receiving the injection and turning into titan breakfast.

        • Cybersteel says:

Anime Rule Number #117 : Kaji Yuki characters always powers up following the lost of a limb.

          • skylion says:

            … good reminder…

          • BlackBriar says:

Anime Rule Number #117 : Kaji Yuki characters always powers up following the lost of a limb.

That’s true in one way if you look at Guilty Crown’s Shu Ouma but a Yuki Kaji character can also get a power up with a limb upgrade, as in High School DxD’s Issei Hyoudo.

          • JPNIgor says:

Kaji Yuki must have a serious limb fetiche…

    • Namika says:

It should sound like a hymn, because at that point humand need to unite to fight titans and blablabla along those lines. I think the song was spot on, but I’m also not surprised that a lot people will find it annoying.

About the walls. They explain how they came to be, so stay calm. I won’t say anything else 😀 Just don’t worry, they’ll get to it. I just got spoiled on that, so TT^TT

      • Awesomeman!234 says:

Actually no, we manga readers still have no idea how the walls were built. We know what they’re built out of , but the why, who, and how are still mysteries. So if you’ve been ‘told’ any of those three, it’s just as likely to be wrong.

        • Namika says:

          Show ▼

          • JPNIgor says:

OMG TT.TT Why must I be so curious to open random spoilers?! *retardfeelings*…

            • Namika says:

It’s okay, don’t worry. The story of how I got spoiled is a lot worse: I was at a beer festival. Drunk. And my bitchy friend told me that when he realized I wouldn’t be able to hit him or anything. ;A; That’s my story

            • skylion says:

…man, that is harsh. Otaku rage is awful.

            • JPNIgor says:

What an awful friend you have… I have one that keeps spoiling things on skype, since I can’t cross a whole country just to punch him in the face.

            • Namika says:

Spoilers – best blackmail ever invented to threaten an otaku TT^TT

          • Awesomeman!234 says:

If that’s all you’ve been told, then its nothing important. The fact serves mostly as a plot device for the major spoilers to unfold, sorta like a gate set in front of a road.

            • Namika says:

Oh my god O_O Wth will happen if that’s not as spoilerific as I thought???? omgomgomg
Now my brain is working to understand what may happen. Stop it brain >O<

            • Awesomeman!234 says:

now that would be telling, wouldn’t it.
But anyway, if you think about it, you realize that it’s really just a shock factor that provides impetus for the rest of the story

  5. Gecko says:

I definitely haven’t seen a trial with action either. Usually, it’s after the trial, when everyone gets really pissed off with the outcome. And all that shouting from people who weren’t called on… it made me want Levi to beat them up too. It’s unprofessional and there’s no way that kind of behavior helps anyone win a trial. (I’ve heard about gang cases where the lawyers on both sides polish up gang members before they go to trial so that they look better. If gang members can do it, I would hope a priest or merchant could. Then again, this is Shingeki no Kyojin. Everything goes wrong.)

I’m not loving the new OP. Not enough Mikasa, too much “Gloria!!!” I’m guessing we’ll find out about all those trees and those candles around Armin later. We’re finally at the Recon Corps time, it should be fun to see them work through different situations. I’d really like it if they would have just one battle outside a city in this show. Even if it was just five minutes.

    • Namika says:

How I see it is – they just showed how pathetic and cowardly humans have become. Especially those who lived within wall Rose for their whole life.

      • Irenesharda says:

The thing is, it’s not really their fault. These walls are all they have known. Also, they can’t very well do without them, not right now. It’s quite a catch-22 situation right now.

    • Overcooled says:

I think more trials would benefit from people beating each other up. Not in real life, but in anime. It’s just so much more satisfying!

I usually don’t pay much heed to the visuals in the OP and EDs, but Armin being drenched in blood and surrounded by candles really stuck out to me. Even if there’s no deeper meaning, it was a badass image to remember.

      • Namika says:

And the moment when you realize that it IS Armin, standing there, drenched in blood and giving someone/something a death glare even Eren could envy….. is epic and a little scary o-o

  6. Irenesharda says:

“There is no place for the weak-willed or hesitant. Only by firm action and resolute faith will mankind survive. No sacrifice is too great. No treachery too small.”
-Liber Doctrina Ordo Hereticus, Chapter XXVIII “Exterminatus”

“Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live.”
    -Adolph Hitler, Mein Kampf

“The search for a scapegoat is the easiest of all hunting expeditions.”
    ― Dwight D. Eisenhower

Sie sind das Essen und wir sind die Jäger

    Countless flowers crushed forever,
Left for dead and names forgotten
Fallen birds long to be taken
By a wind that’s foul and rotten
Praying while the gods ignore you
Leads to fear that makes you cower
But to change the fate before you
Means to fight with all your power

Pigs who languish in their cowardice
Cannot step over corpses that clutter their path
Will you be complacent, always obeisant
Or wake the starving wolf inside you?

Shame from the cage we gilded with sorrow
Gives us the will to fight for tomorrow
Even a lamb content in its pasture
Can be transformed into a hunter
Longing for blood and headed for battle
Now we are wolves where once we were cattle
Raising the cry we charge into twilight
    We continue to fight!”
-geekymcgeekstein (Adapted Lyrics)/ REVO of Linked Horizon (Original Lyrics), Guren no Yumiya

Well, it took me a bit to watch this, because this is the one and only scene in which I had already been spoiled for and I really didn’t want to watch Levi ( a character I hardly know) beat up on Eren (a character I have grown to know and love) however, after watching the whole thing, I can see why he did it, even if he was a little overboard.

I think this episode had Mikasa best death glare yet. If I was Levi, I was watch out for Mikasa at all cost. Even IF Levi happens to be stronger than Mikasa (which I’m not sure of at all), there is nothing like a woman with a grudge or something precious to protect. She might play nice at first, but just when you think it’s all over and she’s forgotten, she will strike like a cobra! And you can be sure that it will be very, very painful…

We see that there are quite a bit of politics involved here, it’s more than just fighting Titans. There are the many varieties of humans with differing goals to think about to. I also though it interesting that each level of the wall you go, the more posh and well off it seems. The people in Wall Sina look like they came out of a Turn of the Century painting, while everyone else looks like they are in different levels of Medieval.

The trial was one that showed the feelings of all sides and we can again see how fast fear can take control. It even began to feel like a witch hunt as the used Eren and Mikasa’s past against them and even tried to accuse Mikasa of being a Titan as well. Eren makes up for his previous douchiness when he angrily speaks up for her, in order to protect her from pointing fingers.

The weird Recon Corp, with the violent help of Levi, get him placed into their custody rather than dissected and they are happy to have him in their weirdo family. Even that really nice Commander Smith looks too nice to be trusted, he reminds me too much of Col. Cain of Valvrave, even right down to the seiyuu. However, I’m wonder what’s going to happen next. We now have so many different characters to look at, from the new Recon Corp that will be introduced more next week, to the already presented Training Corp that we have begun to know already. Are all the other characters going to disappear, in favor of the new ones, or will we have some balance?

I don’t know at all what to expect in the coming episodes, but I hope it will be as interesting as the last set. Shingeki has become a phenomenon, and its doing its best to live up to that.

As for the new OP and ED, I like the new OP even if it didn’t wow me as much as the first one. The imagery isn’t as good, and the song sounds rushed with a little too much guitar at points, but I like the sort of military/national anthem part in the beginning. It was a nice change of tone that still suits the shows theme. It also has some of the some motifs from the Guren no Yumiya, so the songs sound like they belong together.

As for the ED, it’s good, but it’s not very memorable. Though, just like the first one, it has excellent visuals.

I give this episode an 8/10. I will be very interested to see where this show will be going in the future.

    • Namika says:

Watching Eren getting all beat up was definitely hard. Mikasa’s reaction was to be expected, and truthfully, I’m surprised that holding her back from rolling Levi’s head wasn’t harder. However, Levi is definitely stronger than Mikasa.

      • Irenesharda says:

I actually hope not. Mikasa’s been out resident badass for this show and I would be really disappointed if she got her position taken by someone else. Especially since there is rarely female protagonists as awesome as her, that have a balance of emotion and intelligence, with a touch of badassery.

However, even if Levi is stronger then she is, there is still a big difference between a man who is angry with you, and a woman who is angry with you. I’m just saying, Levi had better watch his back.

        • Namika says:

Yes, an angry woman is one of the scariest beasts ever. That aside, I think it’s okay for Levi or someone else being stronger than Mikasa. It would be normal. No matter how talented she is, she’s still a teenager, and it would be too anime if an absolute BEST soldier was like, 15-16 years old.

    • Namika says:

The full song of Jiyuu no Tsubasa actually has a piece of Guren no Yumia at the end. 🙂
As for the ending, it’s not amazing, but definitely much better than the first one, if you ask me. In the first one, graphics and music weren’t in harmony, and didn’t suit each other at all.

    • Irenesharda says:

Oh, I’m going to give a shout-out to geekymcgeekstein, the lady who wrote the adapted lyrics for “Guren no Yumiya” that I placed as a quote in my episode review.

If you haven’t seen her English fandub, you should definitely take a look. It is hands down, one of, if not the best English version of the OP done yet.

  7. skylion says:

It looks like the show has reinvented itself and not an episode too soon.I was growing a bit weary of the last arc. Previous stories had made it feel unbalanced.

Now with the arrival the stellar OP and ED combo, let the new arc begin.

    • Namika says:

Let a new even more epic arc begin. Considering that now we’ll have all those exciting characters from Scouting Legion!

      • skylion says:

Yes this one feels like the characters are already all together and are awaiting the next mission.

        • Overcooled says:

It’s nice to have everything set up and ready to go for the next episode. A fresh new start is always welcome. I’m excited to see how they work with Eren on their “mission.”

          • Namika says:

I think Eren will fit into the bunch nicely. He’ll be a little intimidated at first, but he’ll fit right in

  8. Namika says:

Before I get into what I thought about this episode, I have to say THAT OPENING. I loved Guren no Yumiya, and just as most of us, didn’t think that the second opening(if there would be one) would top it, but… I’m so glad when I’m wrong about stuff like this! Jiyuu no Tsubasa is….. just perfect for this show, I don’t how they do that, but… but now, I’ll say it another time – this opening will be REALLY hard to top. cant wait till they do so

    • BlackBriar says:

It’s a 50/50 gamble on whether or not a second OP would turn out better than the first and most of the time they’d end up on the bad half and fail that why I was skeptical with the second OPs for Ao no Exorcist, Robotics;Notes, Sword Art Online, Zetsuen no Tempest, Shiki and Psycho-Pass but like Shingeki no Kyojin, they turned out alright.

Shingeki’s now OP is very telling that things will continue to escalate. The shocker was seeing Armin covered in blood. Also, I’m not sure but I thought I saw a female Titan in the visuals.

By the way, congratulations on rising in the comment ranks!!

      • skylion says:

yeah I think that was a female Titan as well. if I had to guess I would say it’s Zoe.

        • Namika says:

If there’s a female titan I would definitely bet on Mikasa. That hairstyle looked like hers.

        • Irenesharda says:

I have to agree in that I think the female titan was Zoe. She is pretty weird as is, and I can’t help think that she might one day go psychotic with her fascination of Titans. There was a scene in the opening where you see her face bloody and she’s looking as if she’s going to bit her thumb like Eren does, but she’s still smiling weirdly. I think that perhaps she isolates the serum that makes Eren the way he is in order to use it on herself, but with her something goes horribly wrong.

I don’t think this show is upbeat enough or stupid enough to make two characters with the same powers, which would in effect take about MC status from Eren. I’m betting that the stuff that can make Eren transform and still remain himself, can only be created correctly by his father, and its also partially Eren’s strength of will that makes him aware of himself. I just have a feeling that things will go wrong if they try to recreate the stuff to use on somebody else.

          • Namika says:

It depends on how will they pull it off, if they do that. I wouldn’t mind, either. Just depends on how would they make it work

            • Awesomeman!234 says:

I am grinning so evilly right now, and laughing so hard. I can’t wait for the storm.

            • Overcooled says:

Another Titan? Whoa, that would be intense! I’d love for a girl to get that ability too. Zoe looks incredibly intimidating in the OP, but she also tends to do that normally…I’d still prefer for her to become a Titan since Mikasa is already such an elite fighter as she is now.

Awesomeman!234 stop it. Just stop. *sigh*

OC She does look intimidating in the opening, but to me she’s an incredibly fun character. Her personality lights up the show in a very interesting way. Even though you understand that she’s possibly the most messed up character you can’t help but to like her. <3

Armin covered in blood is really something. Yet again – nothing else to do but to wait and see. And I’m not gonna pick up the manga. No matter how much I want to, seeing all those events animated is much better.
I feel like this opening is like ops for D.Gray-man. Those gave away some events taking place after, like, 40-50 episodes.

        Thanks! I didn’t even realize it. 😀 But it’s nice <3

Scouting Legion – freaks and perverts. Man, that sounds nice 😀 can’t wait to see more of them! They seem like such a fun bunch. Well, ‘fun’ in a little different way.

Now I’m sure that I’ll have a love/hate relationship with Levi. He’s cool. He’s amazing. But I can’t simply forget how he beat up Eren without a slight hint of remorse and didn’t even give a slightest apology. On the other hand, I completely understand why he acted like that.
But there’s someone I like even more than him. Guess who is it :3 I swear, crazy characters like Zoe are just amazing! Her strange passion towards titans is so freaky but cool… and Romi Park. And glasses. *O*

It was hard for me to believe that in the opening, the one all covered in blood was Armin. What’s up with that? I know, getting tougher and stuff, but will he become a legit, proud member of the Scouting Legion? As in going bonkers? o-o Oh I’d love to see that

SPOILERS! SPOILERS EVERYWHERE! TT^TT 2 things got spoiled to me. Even though a friend of mine is convincing me that those can’t even be considered spoilers in comparison to what is happening in the manga. And if those aren’t big spoilers…. I’m all tingling in anticipation

I have successfully avoided all spoilers except for that one with Levi beating the crap out of Eren. Of course because of context clues and logic, that meant that I already knew Eren wasn’t dead and that he would come back since I had yet to see Levi, so what can you do? 🙂

However, I will continue to be vigilant! I WILL see this series mostly unspoiled!

Pfft, lots of things got spoiled to me like that. That is why I don’t visit my tumblr that often o-o I got spoiled that Eren would become a titan, and a couple of other things I won’t tell you 😀

Spoilers are especially hard to dodge on Tumblr. Usually it’s just spoilers for the current episode that’s out, but I’ve accidentally read something about a side character…Fortunately I know to instantly look away whenever I see her mentioned anywhere. Good luck avoiding spoilers, my friends! It’s definitely not easy.
