MetaVerse Episode 21: 21 Leagues Under the -Verse

Random chatter (and dancing) aplenty on this episode of MetaVerse!

Sorry we’ve been away for so long! Similar to Episode 14.99 where we came in loose and w/o structure, Kyo, Fosh, Ness, lvlln & I talk about what’s going on with our old selves covering a whole bunch of different topics. We talk Borderline-H manga and manwha, sports anime and current airing series, dancing games and much more on this episode. Hope we touch upon a topic or two that tickles your fancy, and we’ll be back much sooner w/ a fresh new MetaVerse!
Hello folks, I know we have been gone for a while but no worries, we are still around and kicking! Like Jrow said, we came out with our weird topics and lots of emotions came out. Sorry for my voice breaking most of the time but damn, I am still suffering through some shitty net. Hopefully, by next episode I’d have it fixed. We didn’t have any major outline of the podcast except for letting loose on whatever we have been doing. Thanks for listening and keeping up with us. Next time, expect some guests. Ja ne.

Enough trolling. Enjoy the short listen and we’ll be back soon!

Can’t believe I sat through 1 hr of you guys talking about Freezing, Queen’s Blade and Just Dance 3 on top of that. XD

And Kyokai, KnK is actually a hit. Google “Kara no Kyoukai BD sales” and look at the numbers, and at that price too.

Anyways, I enjoyed the podcast and looking forward to that new MetaVerse.

Going in without a plan is what makes it all the more interesting. We get to hear what you guys will randomly bring to the table.

I see Jrow is a visitor of Manga Fox. What I like about these different manga sites and what may also pose a problem to those who don’t share the same views is that each have a manga that is exclusive to a particular site. Like Manga Reader, Manga Here and Manga Inn. I visit each one to find a certain manga.

@Ness: As for the Assassin’s Creed games, I’ve seen my brother play all the installments until the most recent one, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. As Fosh and Jrow have pointed out, though the fighting system of the first quickly becomes repetitive, it’s story that’s the main reason for playing and to fully understand it, you have to play one after the other. If you skip so much as one, there’s a good chance you won’t know where you’re going and you won’t enjoy it.

The PS Vita version, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, to me, is the most interesting considering the protagonist is the first female Assassin of the franchise. Her name is Aveline de Grandpré and like the protagonist of AC3 who is half British and half Native American, she has a double heritage being an Assassin of French and African descent.

    • Ness says:

Ahh thanks. I couldn’t sit through the repetitiveness of the first game, so I went ahead and started the second one after reading on what happened in the first. I’ll live with this decision heheh.

Yeah, the female assassin is probably the main reason why I’m looking forward to Liberation. :3

Been seeing posts that Assassin’s Creed III is on sale at Wal-Mart for $14.98.

Too late. Back to $60. Glad I got to pre-order before it went back.
