Akarin-“Wuhahahah welcome to your doom! Wait why is everyone running away?”

The adventures of Akarin and her crazy friends continues here on Metanorn and I hope everyone is having a great time like me on this second installment. I swear I have listened to the opening and ending singles over and over again for the last few days… Anyway it is finally time to start this review and join the other girls for another hilarious adventure.

Akarin the fool

Inner Akarin-“Yes you fool! GO FOR THAT CARD! MUHAHAHAHAH.”

Inner Akarin-“Next stop Vegas baby! Oh wait I think I just lost the game again…”

Our classic Akaarinnn is back to start the show with her classic opening lines and of course they decided to cut her off midsentence, but that is just the creators messing around with her…I wonder why Akarin gets this kind of treatment? One thing is certain in this episode she really has no skills with cards or creating cleaver nicknames for Kyoko, Yui or Chinatsu. However, I thought China was a cute nickname for her. What else can we say about Akarin this week? She was suffering throughout the entire episode, but she managed to avoid getting sick and gave us some helpful tips to stay healthy so that was great! STAY STONG AKARIN!

Kyoko the comedian 

Kyoko-“Orange, you glad I left my yuri goggles at home this week?”

So what kind of insane adventure does Kyoko take us on this week? Things start out with Kyoko trying her best to sweet talk Yui into doing her homework for her. However, every time she brings the subject of asking her friend to do the homework for her she gets shot down! Nice try Kyoko you can’t use the power of love to accomplish your goal. So you thought Akarin had it rough with nicknames? Kyoko had some terrible ones like Blackened banana for Yui’s fruit name, but I was honestly thinking the same thing what about you?? So out of the four girls who would you take cold prevention tips from? I would not listen to Kyoko. What the hell is hand gargling anyway? It seriously sounds like a terrible idea to me and maybe her own advice got to her, but we did see that shot of her using a towel outside…damn it Kyoko!

Chinatsu the dreamer

Won’t you donate to the Chinatsu dream fund? Please?!

This girl probably has no issues with homework or creating nicknames, then again she would probably ignore Kyoko and focus just on Yui and Akarin. She seemed to really enjoy the nickname of China, which triggered an instant day dream about being a world famous idol! Yep dream big and don’t let your mutant hair eat anyone. Oh and Chinatsu hates bugs, but I think all of the girls in this series hate dealing with those things! I really hate certain bugs…anyway she also managed to survive catching a cold this week and she got to cling to Yui like always.

Yui the protector

Akarin was busy stuffing her face full of great animated food!

Yep little Yui will always fit the role of the mothering type because she has to basically resist giving into Kyoko like during the homework scene? Yeah no amount of sweet talking is going to convince Yui into doing homework! What would it take for her to eventually give in I wonder? Maybe if Kyoko had real money to give to someone? Just kidding! She would blow it all on manga, anime, sweets and probably lots of video games. I bet Kyoko ends up giving her cold to Yui next week…I just have that feeling in the back of my mind that she will stop by check on Kyoko and them BOOM! Yui catches the cold.

Side characters and nature

Snake versus cute girl!? WHO WILL WIN THIS BATTLE!

Sakurako-“I LOVE YOUR ANGRY FACE!”                  Himawari-“I LOVE YOUR FACE TOO!”

Sakurako-“MISSION ACCOMPLISHED SUCKERS!”           Akarin-“Awwwww that snake is so cute!”

This week we get a small treat with some of the side characters like Himawari, Chitose, Ayano and Sakurako these four girls basically form a really cute looking student council group…so what are these girls up to this week? Somehow they found a wild snake inside their club room, but Himawari, Chitose and Ayano sit on some desks to hide from the wild animal! Thankfully Sakurako was brave enough to capture the snake which looked harmless to me; however, she decided to show the snake off to Akarin, Yui and Kyoko only to get a cockroach to land on her face…that is terrible! I would probably have the same reaction like Sakurako! I HATE THOSE BUGS!

Ayano-“I WILL GET YOU NEXT TIME TOSHINOU KYOUKO!”

Chitose-“Can you give me a moe-ment to think about something ecchi.”

Akarin-“Ooooh I want my hair color to be just like Eureka.”

Yui-“How did you get sick this time?”                Kyoko-“I was watching all of Eureka Seven Ao…”
