Ao no Exorcist Original Soundtrack Part 1 release nyaa~

Alright, readers of Metanorn, this is one of those AWESOME Original Soundtracks that you MUST HAVE! I know, I’ve not been a fan of the ED much (personally don’t like 2PM at all), but the OP is not bad by UVERworld and suits the overall theme of Ao no Exorcist. But BABY, Original Soundtrack is BRILLIANT. This is the kind of music that will have you jumping on your seat.

I should seriously be working on a stats report right now but I’m drafting this post instead because the music is so good. I especially love the semi-Indian beats and there are actually times when you can catch some tabla, ghungru, mouth organ, harmonium, flute and an array of other music instruments. And oh the chorus, the lovely haunting chorus! Not to mention, the crescendos! There are too many but oh man… HHHNNGGGG.

There are five main sections of this soundtrack: Exorcist Concerto, Symphonic Suite DEVIL, AOE Suite, Symphonic Poem GeHeNa and Assiah Fantasia. The baddies have gotten some seriously awesome music, Mephisto and Amaimon to name a few. My favourite track is Exorcist Concerto Third Movement U & Cloud but I like all of them in general. I was kind of disconcerted by the First Movement, because of some “In the End” that I went HUH, still Mika Kobayashi managed somehow with her Engrish and after that I just listened on and on. I can write more on this but time is short and this day is going quite sweet. On an unrelated note, Carnival Phantasm… HNNNGGG! Anyhow, enjoy the awesomeoferric music~

      This is seriously one of the rare OSTs that really have some very awesome beats and are not just a few listens.

      Neko Rin needs to be a theme. *hintnudgehint* :3

    This OST is SO GOOD. I love the instrumentals; I’m partial to the extensive use of instruments.

      HECK YEAH! This is on the repeat for some time now and I definitely love the fact of various instrument usage. You don’t usually find it in anime music much, which is a refreshing change. xD

      This has been definitely a surprise in terms of quality. Brilliant soundtrack and makes me want to hear the second part two. C would be wonderful and fate/zero too as Yuki Kajiura always delivers. ^^

    ohmygosh! Yay, another awesome OST for me to listen. I personally liked the ED a lot (2PM <3) and the OP was okay. Let's see if this can get any better. Thanks a lot Kyokai :B

      Maybe the reason I feel the ED disconnect with the overall Ao no Exorcist theme.

    I loved U & Cloud the most from this album! All of the tracks are great, but this particular one…… Mmmmmmm :3
