Cross Ange: Being Ange is suffering. This girl has it rough.
And I didn’t expect the body count to add this episode. It is weird that for an open craft, they’re not wearing any seat belts. Then again, the cockpit looks like a motorcycle and has the controls for one and you don’t wear one there. But I digress.
Speaking of mecha, Ange gets a special mecha of her own. Just like my Gundam and any mecha out there. Sasuga Sunrise. Seems like a keikaku by that commander but I doubt it’s this kind of show to have such complicated things like that.
So now that Ange has hardened up, will she join in the orgies? And not-Kira when? I think he’s probably the only male Norma if he’ll be even important to the story. I remember that it’s only been female who are Normas.
G-Reco: Nope, still not working for me. Everyone is always on the move and they’re mostly with little purpose. Especially that Raraiya who’s just totally retarded. What’s her purpose besides babbling “G! G!” and rolling around with the Haro?
Half of things only makes sense and that’s only when they do manage to stop moving like when they talked to that captain. The scene transitions are still so poor and still can’t focus properly on which characters to show.
I managed to last through AGE so I can definitely last here. The only thing that I can say I like in this is the OP.
GBF Try: Love the OP song and the things shown in there for the future developments. Of course the big talk of the OP is Fumina and her outfit in it. The fanarts just keep pouring out lol. Another hot topic is if that master of Sekai’s is female or male. It’s certainly a homage to Domon Kasshu of G Gundam but people seem to want a genderbent version of him as Sekai’s master. Interesting to see the BBG against a Destiny Gundam there. And is that a female Meijin that I see?
The episode was pretty straightforward and enjoyable again. I can understand why Yuuma didn’t want anything to to with fighting anymore if he was up against an edgelord that’s voiced by Hosoya Yoshimasa and has a hybrid Gundam with various parts. But of course Yuuma will get over it and join the club to be a complete team. Doesn’t seem like there will be a love triangle as Yuuma may be paired with Mirai-oneesan. Excellent choice nonetheless.
That power of the fist is just so cheesy but it just works in here. Definitely something along the lines of a Newtype like Yuuma said. And ending with the two from the Plamo club was funny.
The new character next episode seems to be the sister of Sazaki from season 1. The resemblance is just there and the Gyanko just gave it away. I’ve been seeing fanarts of her already even before she formally appeared so think of how much will be out when she formally appears.

Cross Ange: Being Ange is suffering indeed! She has it quite rough doesn’t she? I agree man the amount of deaths in this episode was CRAZY! Also I was surprised how Ange got her special mecha and I had no idea it would be through tears and a magical ring? Yeah I look forward to more badass Ange in the future.
G-Reco: LOL yeah sadly Reconguista is quite confusing right now and I hope it picks up soon because I really want it to be fun! As for Monday I guess that skydiving in episode one screwed up her brain so it will be a while until she returns to normal.
GBF: Same I love that OP and Fumina <3 <3 <3 and it is interesting to see all the female characters in GBF that actually battle I know season one had a few but it looks like this new season wants to have more girls involved which is always a great thing.

I really am liking Cross Ange, like one of my favorite shows so far this season. I think it’s got impact, interesting themes, and looks really good. The only thing I’ve got a little tweak about is that Ange’s conversion from “I don’t want to live like this” to “I’m going to live like this and screw you all” was a little too fast. It kind of works in that “desperation” feel, but I wish she’d not gone directly from one to the other.
I do really like how they got her to that point. I kind of thought that it would be Coco’s death that galvanized Ange into changing (and would have been pretty cliched), but that didn’t make her bat an eye. I liked the push into despair after Zola’s death, not that she was sad about getting Zola killed, but that she was giving up after even her home had essentially disappeared. But when push comes to shove, people don’t want to die. I have no idea what the power of the ring is, that seemed a little convenient, but it was cool to transform Schlep-mail into Wonder-robot. Now let’s see how Burn Princess comes along.

Yeah I think it is doing alright so far even though the FB community I am a part of is quick to call Ange the worst character of the season which I don’t really agree on because there are certainly worse characters, but I like her so far.
TRUEEEEEE I didn’t like how quick she was to changing from depressed Ange to “feeling better” Ange especially with the hair cutting moment…

Wow, I am so far behind. Take one week off and you get all this backlog. Lol
Anyway, I’ll just keep this simple. Still hate Cross Ange but this episode was minutely better than the others so I will watch a couple more to see what I’m going to do, either keep or drop.
For Gundam G-reco, I’m still loving it and Klim Nick is my favorite character so far. The episodes have just been getting better and better!
