Sabagebu! Series Review

This is my current wallpaper!

I feel kind of bad for dropping my reviews for Sabagebu on Metanorn because I took a mini break from written posts to focus on more audio related posts with Captain Earth and Aldnoah.Zero and I was only blogging certain episodes of SAO 2, but I wanted to at least wrap up the series with an overall review so I hope you enjoy the video!

Obey Momoka or get owned noob.

Thanks for watching!

Is huge anime fan from Florida! who loves to watch anime and also enjoys drawing and collecting pictures, my favorite genre of anime has to be Mecha, there is just something awesome about giant robots beating the crap out of each other! Other than that type of show, I love a good comedy or action series :D

Sabagebu was definitely fun. I went in expecting something like Upotte! or Stella C3, but the direction it went held up a lot better. Momoka was definitely a real piece of work, but noone else was much better, morality-wise. I think the only person who was untainted by poor morals was the ditzy club advisor.

It was even to the point where you expected things to go horribly wrong, and yet they still were funny, because they didn’t always go bad the same way. Like the end of the Predator episode was brilliantly funny. And I think the thing that defined Momoka best was when she was fighting Fried Lemon Chicken at the arcade game, and just beat him down, and when you thought that was done, she gave him that last kick. That kick totally defines Momoka.

This show was just insanity on toast. I think my favorite moment was that time when Platty went “waaaaaah”. I love that little vocal effect; especially when he was begging for Crabby’s life…

Best comedy of the season. And I loved the ending–Momoka and Urara both got what they deserved.

It is certainly up there with some of the greats, but it is hard to call it my top favorite comedy of the season because I loved Gekkan Shoujo a ton thanks to some hilarious bits and fun characters.
