Captain Earth – 19

Captain Earth (5)

Salty Dog really loves Metal Gear.

I am back with Skylion to talk about Captain Earth! So this should be the last Hana themed episode for a while, but at least we can look back on this series and say that she finally got some character development even though I still feel that she is kind of boring to watch every week…

Hah, called it that you would take a pic of that part of Moco 😛
Amara confirmed for gay and impotent for not banging Moco all night every night. Ironic though given that their seiyuus are married. It’s one of the fun thing that I like about this show.

We’re getting ever closer to Puck riding that nice boat. At least he’s better than Amara.
Was he seriously talking to himself in that room? That was just weird.

To be honest, I had no idea what the Blume was even though it’s getting mentioned every time. Either I’m not paying attention or it just wasn’t brought up yet. Ah well.

And if I were it change of pics it would have been LOLi Hana.

OMG, I cannot wait for Puck’s boat ride…

    • Foshizzel says:

Amara is like ewwwwwwwwwww BOOBIES ARE NASTY! Clearly he needs to spend time with Puck to learn a few things huh and ahaha yeah I tend to forget both actors are married irl <3

Puck is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO screwed! I hope all the girls he messed with come rushing into his bedroom with tons of sharp objects.

Yeah same and apparently it is a HUGE ASS FREAKING spaceship which explains why all these factions want to get their hands on it.

“Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” Puck had better watch his back.

I thought this was a really good episode. I loved that they stuck in an ekranoplan, from the first mention of it (I actually knew what it was because I love weird air and sea craft. It’s actually a wing-in-ground-effect vehicle that exists, so that’s why they couldn’t get any higher off the water: it doesn’t actually ‘fly’ except right over a surface).

I also liked a bit of the expansion, that they already knew that Hana might have to rejoin Blume, and her confidence that Daichi would come get her out if she couldn’t on her own (I kind of wonder if now that she’s got a reason to leave Blume that she’ll be able to do so on her own). One thing I thought was “Well, if something happens to Daichi so that he can’t go get her out of Blume, it won’t matter because she’ll go on a rampage and destroy everyone anyway.”

    • skylion says:

I think Hana going crazy go nuts rampage would be kinda awesome…

    • Foshizzel says:

I had no idea that it was a real aircraft! That is kind of cool to see that Bones did some research before returning things back to scfifi mode with the giant flying Metal Gear along with Hana’s massive space ship.

Rampaging Hana? I can get down with that and that would totally set up the OH MA GAWD POAWER OF LOVEEEE saves the world cause Bones would so do that, but even so I kinda hope Hana struggles to get out of the Blume and is able to live a somewhat normal life after everything ends.

Moco once flaunting that goddess-like body of hers. I’m so glad I called dibs a few episodes back and don’t feel any shame squealing over her. She’s too damn hot! Seriously Amara, what the hell is wrong with you.

Glad to see Hana being useful when the situation calls. This is a good path for redemption in front of the viewers. The being part of a space ship went over my head the first time hearing it. Now it just persists the question: What is she?

The Livlasters make another plot twist based on Puck’s analysis. Still, I’m skeptical as to how this new insight will play out when there are six episodes remaining and absolutely no indication as to where the story is heading. Plus, no one wise as to what Puck’s been up to, Salty Dog is continuing to screw around and the Planetary Gears haven’t made their final move yet. Please don’t let this have a messy ending.

    • Highway says:

That analysis of the Livlasters seemed tremendously self-serving to me. “Humanity should oppose the Intercept faction because they use Livlasters which *might* be an extradimensional being / race, which *might* be trying to take over the Earth. Therefore, people should support the Kivitos faction because they’re going to totally give up the Earth to the other bad guys.”

    • Foshizzel says:

Mmmmmmmmmmm Moco for the win and shame on you Amara! She is just wanting to have some quality time alone with you, but hes all EWWWW BEWBSSSSSS~

FK YA HANA! I am glad she is doing a lot in the second half but I sort of wish she had this character development a bit early because she is still very boring outside of the combat scenes; however I guess she has grown a lot since the first half and that is fine with me.

I am glad that puck is finally making his move at last against GLOBE and the Livlasters which brings up a new set of questions! What race was he originally and are his people at war with the Planetary Gears? I could see them spinning his race as being treated as slaves and now they are striking back! Then again I am just guessing.

Is something wrong with the podcast? I clicked on the “new window” option but nothing started.

    • Foshizzel says:

Yeah I think so BB I have been learning how to upload/edit these on my own to give Jrow a break but try downloading it instead I have no idea why it wont play I might have screwed something up on my end either through the upload itself or the file…sorry about that T____T

      • BlackBriar says:

Oh, well, trial and error. One can only improve by learning from their mistakes.

        • Foshizzel says:

True that! I think Jrow will get it working hopefully we don’t have anymore issues.

          • BlackBriar says:

Since you’re learning from him, I doubt there’ll be any issues later on either. Best of luck!

        • Highway says:

“Download” worked for me, just played the file in Firefox.

          • Jrow says:

That’s because I just re-uploaded the file minutes ago. 🙂

            • Highway says:

              Yesterday 😛

            • Jrow says:

              just played

From a comment written on 8/15 at 3:05 pm. You sure did get me there, Highway…

            • BlackBriar says:

Okay, then. I’ll try it in a few minutes.

            • Highway says:

Sorry, the ‘just played’ meant that it proceeded to play the mp3 file in Firefox, rather than another application, sorry for confusion.

          • BlackBriar says:

How does that work exactly? I tried that once and it used my Windows Media Player to access it.

    • Jrow says:

It’s playing for me now. I didn’t see anything wrong with what Fosh did when he uploaded it the first time. “Download” worked, so I just DL’d the file and re-upped it with a different file name.
