Satella’s gets her stigmata wings out to beat up Holly

Can’t have Satella? Can’t have life, thought Louis as he jumped
As good as I thought episode 6 was, 7 concludes the siblings arc storyline with quite the dud. I mentioned Holly Rose on the last post, and there’s just no sympathy to be had for her as she was fighting Satella. She knows exactly how Louis feels and he assaults her as well in a flashback, but feels she should resent Satella for always being in Louis’s heart; she is another fallen victim to Louis. And with a character as dislikable as Louis is, you just can’t be satisfied with how he comes away from this arc with simply a change of heart, let alone no injuries or even buy into that writing. He was a tyrant to Satella, but once she and Kazuya stepped up to him, he got all despondent and suicidal, jumping over the edge. The ending to this mini-arc is poor, void of any true lasting feeling.
The clothes just barely held on in a rough battle
The good of this episode was in the production of the fight. It’s definitely the best action scene that’s been in Vibration. The battlefield was open for Satella and Holly to fight in with little distraction from their Limiters and the action had nice fast-paced moments. The show didn’t want the girls cutting each other’s breasts , so a swipe right down the middle of the chest for just a tiny bit of exposure was in order plenty through the fight.
Meanwhile, things are heating up in the cold Alaska
So we’re done with the siblings arc. It’s a thing that happened and parts I thought were pretty decent, but overall I’m glad we’re past it and can return to Alaska. It teases a couple things nicely, including the mobilization of the el Bridget family, the inevitable Nova Clash, and Maria Lancelot is now being used as a part of the E-Pandora project.

Yuushibu – 07
One can only hope Leon offers health insurance, considering the dangers its employees face.
So I’m not entirely sure what they were going for with this episode. The first 70% or so was our trio of Lore, Raul, and Phino outbidding Amada for an air conditioner installation by virtue of their hard work, technical expertise, and Phino’s tolerance of being submerged in slime. With Raul throwing down the gloves last episode, I guess it’s time to show Leon walking the walk against Amada. But half the staff wasting an afternoon fixing a customer’s pest problem for free, with the lucky result that they got a sale, doesn’t seem like behavior of a winning retailer. And the granny pushing to get the A/C from Leon bothered the heck out of me. I understand wanting to be nice to the nice salesman who helped her, but being that invested, especially given the price difference? I’ve never known such brand loyalty on the retail level.
The last 30% was just more everyday life for Raul, Phino, and the rest of the crew at Leon. Phino calling out to Raul in the bath and Phino crawling naked into Raul’s bed are hilarious and not at all the same tired crap I’m sick of seeing everywhere else. This show really has problems making use of its strengths. We could have had another fancy battle against a slimy magic eater like episode 3, but no. We didn’t even get much fanservice in this golden opportunity. And the whole magitek angle wasn’t exploited nearly enough, with Raul’s explanation about biles and amperes stopping at, “They measure magic.” If you’re explaining 2 different units to someone, it’s generally expected you’ll specify what they are or at least how they’re different from each other.
I guess the next big challenge they’ll have to face is a heat wave, based on the radio forecast, Phino’s shenanigans at Raul’s room, and the state of the store at the end. Unless that’s something that can be beaten with a sword and martial arts and fancy acrobatics, I’m not interested. Who knows, maybe Raul will go beat the crap out of those mating lizards that the weather forecast pinned as the reason for the heat wave?
Just what the heck is that thing? A shelf hanging from above? An upside down table attached to the ceiling? How come we couldn’t see it in this shot?
I like that the trucks in this world look exactly like trucks seen in Japan in early 21st century, except they’re drawn by dragons. Because that’s the design that makes most sense when you’re creating a carriage pulled by something, rather than a vehicle with an engine inside.

I don’t know that there’s a whole lot to say about this episode (but there was plenty to take screenshots of!). Akane, made painfully aware of her inability to deal with the mere idea of Celia, ends up not just stuck in a windmill with her, but naked stuck in a windmill with a bunch of people outside. There was some really stupid stuff, like their clothes blowing away, after migrating not just up and over the one gear, but all the way out of the windmill, or there still being grain to mill in that old broken windmill, or them not dying when they blew up the windmill with a grain dust explosion. But mostly it was Akane and Celia naked throughout, and Takahiro finding them (surprise surprise) and getting a big grope in on Akane’s boobs. Cause what’s the first thing you reach for to see if a statue is real? Yeah, touch it’s boobs, perv. Good job! And poor Fiona…

I guess this is mostly filler stuff because 12 episodes is just too many to fill up with getting ready for the tournament. Maybe they should see about getting to it sometime, tho. I don’t think we need more training, since they’re telling us they’re doing training anyway, but the tournament better start soon because there’s just too many girls to get through (and they have to figure out a way for Mio to lose the tournament, cause that would just make all these knights look baaaaaaaad).

Yuushibu – 07: Even though it’s seven episodes into the series, it’s still odd seeing modern vehicles using mythical creatures to move around.
That was a lot of slime that accumulated in the house. Those who moved should have save themselves some trouble by having the house inspected first. If not for Raul, Phino and Lore, they’d be up to their neck in debt.
The design Lore made to help Phino attract the slime looked like something that would be seen in FMA.

It was very electrical schematic. I was kind of wondering why there wasn’t some device like a capacitor which would have provided a current flow but maybe presented a physical break from one side to the other. Maybe Lore needs to come up with some kind of magic trap like that. 🙂
On the other hand, this is a world that barely holds up to any scrutiny at all, so that’s probably too much to ask.

Walkure Romanze – 07: So much unadulterated fanservice!! This episode was definitely NSFW and I got a sufficient dose of yuri so the experience is even better. Akane has such a lewd voice. I’d laugh uncontrollably if it turns out her seiyuu has voiced a character in a hentai.
While the events leading up Akane and Celia being left completely naked seem somewhat unlikely in the real world, wouldn’t some of their clothes be thick enough to get caught in a gear instead of passing through them like they were nothing?

I did notice that neither Akane or Celia had nipples this episode. I guess they gotta leave something for the BD? Or maybe that’s what you see in the TV airings. I’m surprised that CR showed so much skin tho. Props to them.
The flying away thing was the height of stupidity. One, how are they migrating along a shaft? Two, when they flew away, they did so slowly in a straight horizontal line. If something that idiotic happened in Yushibu, I think lvlln might destroy his computer in a rage. 😉

Akane’s seiyuu is Nabatame Hitomi. As far as I can see in the list, she hasn’t been casted in any H OVAs.
But considering she has several alternative names listed which are typical of eroge seiyuus and she’s played main characters in anime like Fortune Arterial, To Heart series and this which are adaptations of eroge VNs, I think it’s safe to say she’s also casted as the voice of those characters in the original games, which includes doing the voice of the H scenes there. And she is also in Ikkitousen and Queen’s Blade. So yeah.

Well, I can’t say it surprises me anymore if a mainstream seiyuu was revealed to have voiced a character in a hentai.
Sanae Kobayashi (Accel World’s Seiji Noumi, Durarara!!’s Namie Yagiri) played the lead girl Suzuna Kuraki in Moonlight Lady (Kao no nai Tsuki)
White Album 2’s Takahiro Mizushima (Haruki Kitahara) and Hitomi Nabatame (Kazusa Touma) both played in Harukoi Otome with Mizushima as the lead and Nabatame as the first girl the lead had intercourse with. Yui Sakakibara (Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate’s Mieru), Nami Kurokawa (Seikon no Qwaser’s Mutsumi) and Hiroko Taguchi (Fortune Arterial’s Haruna, Walkure Romanze’s Lisa) also had roles in it.

Freezing Vibration – 07: The ending left me unsatisfied. I don’t care how much they try to humanize him, Louis was detestable, lowlife bastard who got off too easy and deserved a horrible end fitting for his despicable personality. After what he did to Satella and his own Pandora partner, there’s no way I could ever believe he’d have a change of heart.
Now that the sibling’s arc is out of the way, the story will go back to the E-Pandora project. I really want to know what Rana was telling Kazuya over the phone. Looks Elizabeth is in deeper trouble than we thought so hopefully Satella will be able to pull off what she couldn’t. As for the Pandoras in the green test pods, I’ll guess they’re probably clones or some other manmade creation.

Freezing: While the rational part of me doesn’t want to kill people for being vile… or kind of does, but tries not to, man, Louis really tests that. And for him to have the world’s easiest repentance is pretty lame. The best part about this arc was Kazuya stepping up and being all awesome. And declaring his love for Satellizer. Too bad Rana wasn’t there to hear it. Satellizer needs to get with the baptizing, tho. Maybe they can join the Mile High club on the way back?

Yushibu: I want there to be some Amada conspiracy, like they’re planting the Magic Eaters or something. Or due to their negligence they’re allowing them to proliferate (maybe the shoddy goods that they’re selling have poor QC and have magic eaters inside them).
I am not sure if I mentioned it last week, but even though I’m rooting for Leon, they’re totally hosed. I mean, their store was empty and terrible about sales *before* Amada opened, when they had no competition. While I don’t mind the idea of “plucky underdog chain wins on service over inhumanly large monolithic corporation”, Leon’s really pushing the boundaries of ‘plucky underdog chain.’

I’m not really expecting too much from the Amada vs Leon competition to be honest.I’m more curious about Raul(who’s surprisingly not that bad of an MC for a show like this if you ask me,at least better than I expected) and All-A come to a conclusion on whether they should keep pursuing their dreams of becoming heroes or just accept the current situation and make the best of it.
That and Fino(who I find pretty hilarious) are what’s making this show surprisingly fun for me and not just a time killer.

Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai!: Face palming and laughing were inevitable finding out Misaki was no better than Sakura when she green at pro wrestling. 49 straight losses, getting a speech and physical “motivation” to get out of the Boston Crab. She even uttered “give up” herself when she couldn’t take the pain anymore. No wonder she was being so ruthless toward Sakura. The girl was seeing herself in a mirror.
The show as a whole is progressing nicely. Not only do we have the mysterious and overpowered Blue Panther who beat Berserk gym’s runner up champ effortlessly without uttering so much as a word and hardly did any movements, Misaki’s been hospitalized and Sakura, who is still an inexperienced wrestler, has to face off against the world champion, “Jackal” Toto, Misaki’s own mentor who helped her out of her rut, in Misaki’s place as a substitute. Oh man, Sakura just can’t catch a break. Beating Rio was already a strenuous task for her.

I mean, you knew there was no other choice to fight Jackal, because plot, but I wish they’d had a little more reasoning. And the Blue Panther seems like a ringer. If it was supposed to be a “New Wrestlers” matchup, then putting someone in a mask and a wig in who you can’t tell who they are is a pretty low move. I guess they did say ‘assassin’, but what’s thepoint of that.
I don’t think Blue Panther beat Berserk’s runner up champ, just the best of the new girls (although it’s arguable she’s better than Sakura, once Sakura gets past “gibu upu”). Jackal just figures nobody like Rio would have any chance at her.
