About

Is huge anime fan from Florida! who loves to watch anime and also enjoys drawing and collecting pictures, my favorite genre of anime has to be Mecha, there is just something awesome about giant robots beating the crap out of each other! Other than that type of show, I love a good comedy or action series :D

  1. Karakuri says:

Kara is on board for magical madness! …Eventually!

This series still seems like it doesn’t have much to it, but the character designs are still adorable~~. Though I’m not drawn to any of the characters (because there’s not much to any of them). Maybe I’ll like Madeline, the big breasted megane character. …Because she’s the big breasted megane character.

At least Uzume seems to have some sort of personality now though. Also, Tuxedo Mask 2.0 is kind of interesting.

“It’s not like I own the building or anything (or do I?) but take these rare cards that were hidden behind this wall! It’s okay because I, a stalker, said so! It’s totally not stealing!”

    • Gecko says:

I bet he does own the building, but is too lazy to clean all of it except that office.

      • Karakuri says:

To be fair, if I owned a building that big, I’d only want to clean one room too.

        • BlackBriar says:

The question is: What would you have in that room that you would always want that one clean and the rest left unattended?

      • Foshizzel says:

Clearly he needs to buy some loli-roombas to clean the rest of the building <3

        • skylion says:

This just in! Worldwide shortage of LOLi Rumba. Winged purchaser is suspected.

        • Liza says:

Why doesn’t he use the guards to clean the building. 0_o It’s not like they were doing anything before Uzume came around.

          • Highway says:

You saw the way Sasara and others reacted to Uzume suggesting they help her with her homework? Imagine trying to get them to clean up a filthy building!

            • Karakuri says:

Getting them to fight one another to the death (ish) is fine, but asking for menial household chores to be done is crossing the line.

      • BlackBriar says:

Wow, then that means despite how sharp he dresses, he must be a total slob. That’s a huge contradiction.

        • Gecko says:

Well, he has priorities: stalking Uzume, teaching to earn some monies, stalking Uzume, dressing up like a crazy guy, stalking Uzume… Cleaning probably just isn’t up there. It wouldn’t be for me if I could run around in a crazy outfit all day.

    • Highway says:

I’d have to say Madeleine is my favorite character as well, mostly cause she’s more grown up than the others. In temperament, you guys. 😛

    • Foshizzel says:

Awesome Kara! I would be more than happy to include you anytime <3

I really love these character designs and so far I kind of like Akari, Sasara and why not Madeline? I can't wait to see the other girls fight though!

I feel that Uzume is so lazy and agreed like you said Kara at least she has some kind of personality~

tuxedo mask 2.0 is a good nickname.

    • BlackBriar says:

If Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou manage to get your attention, there shouldn’t be any reason Fantasista Doll can’t. It’s just a notch below the former.

  2. Gecko says:

I knew I was going to like Akari! Yoyos are actually good weapons. Uzume can just go and fix that sheet up with the repair card, so Akari wasn’t too worried about mass destruction.

This episode got the whole “main characters squabble” obvious plot over with, thank goodness because it was so so so obvious as to what they were doing.

But we did get to find out where the magical girl card people (do they have an official name or something?) get to live. Considering they have a big house in the middle of spiral-land, I’m surprised that they wanted a bath so badly in the first episode. The military-themed group was making soup, so water has to be there somewhere… right?

But really, if I were Uzume, I would have taken all the cards! There were so many and she took like 5? They’re all probably pretty nice, and considering the fights aren’t turned-based like real card games, I would want as many power up and trap cards as possible to win every fight.

    • skylion says:

Akari is my fave as welds.Yes when someone tells you to take all the cards, you take all the cards.

    • Foshizzel says:

When I saw Akari swing around those weaponized yo-yos I instantly thought of Killua from Hunter x Hunter because in the Greed Island arc he had some deadly yo-yos as weapons and owned with them xD

I kind if figured if Uzume would butt heads with any of the girls it would have to be Sasara who seems to be the most outspoken of the group when it comes to their new master.

I am assuming that Uzume’s phone = portal to the magical world? Eventually after she collects them all I guess the other world will start to grow? Course I have seen this done a lot in PreCure aka collecting stuff to rebuild another world.

I know right? I was like wait did she really only take like five cards?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING UZUME?! I can only guess that she didn’t want to be greedy? Probably…

      • Gecko says:

I mean, yeah, Uzume doesn’t want to be greedy, but it’s not like anyone else is there! And the only other guy is letting her take them all.

        • Foshizzel says:

Probably teaching the audience “Don’t be greedy.” or something like that? Then again I have no idea who Fantasista dolls is aimed at? Older teens or young kids? I know PreCure is for all groups because 90% of their series have life lessons or teach morals xD

          • skylion says:

I thought PreCure was aimed about both young female children and middle 30’s salarymen…

That being the case, this is for young female children, and Western otaku….

          • Gecko says:

Yeah, what’s the audience for this? I wouldn’t think yoyo attacks would be suited for young kids… 😛

            • skylion says:

Which by default…leaves it too the middle aged farts, such as myself! No, where did I leave that edged butterfly wheel?

  3. KLACMAN says:

well give seeing so far i’m still wonder how card format it goes on it?

seeing some kamen rider ryuki feel bit sometime dolls also appear as mirror or hologram images & also yet power rangers megaforce summon & weapons style.

give my history & seeing shows using card style wonder to see next?

    • Foshizzel says:

Probably like yugioh? Get more cards and you can do more traps and powerups! Something like that?

I like how the girls appear around Uzume always watching but at the same time it is kinda creepy! I imagine she has little to no privacy >.>

I think the girl Uzume met in the first episode with her little sister is part of this magical girl card game? I know the OP shows at least three other masters.

      • KLACMAN says:

well give i’m still hmm series might go like options of kamen rider series of ryuki, blade & DECADE due to card using.

& yet dolls have appear in hologram & mirror like ryuki series give might wonder if reach whole “there can be only one winner” ryuki rider war storyline aka HIME-lander anyone?

give also mention power rangers megaforce card using as well on it.

yea i still a fan of power rangers series.

& can we agree one eyed-guy is could be the teacher is with messed-up hair?

        • Gecko says:

Yeah the homeroom teacher must be the Lord Raffelsia guy, it’s too obvious. (But I’m guessing that revelation will be hilarious for Uzume’s reaction.)

          • Foshizzel says:

Oh yeah I am waiting for Uzume to realize that her homeroom teacher is tuxedo mask 2.0 and like you said Gecko her reaction is going to be hilarious once she finds out!

  4. skylion says:

Well this was pretty good, but next episode needs to be better. To much anime is too much anime. And a drop or two is needed on my part.

But if keep the Tank LOLis around who knows.

    LOLi Rumba…:-) 😀

    • Foshizzel says:

Awwww well I hope something exciting happens next week to keep you watching, personally I want to see the other girls on Uzume’s team fighting instead of Sasara saving the day!

      Tank-loli and loli-roomba ftw <3

      • skylion says:

I don’t know, if they just have Akari be full of win, then the show is good enough..

        • Foshizzel says:

I would guess that we will see each girl get their time to shine eventually! Hell Akari looks like she could kick some major butt with those yo-yo weapons of hers.

        • Gecko says:

          Yep!

(Actually all the girls beyond Sasara need some shining full of win time. Mostly Akari.)

          • Foshizzel says:

Yeah I assume that will happen soonish because I can totally see each card girl having some kind of problem that Uzume needs to help them with and then BOOM Shimeji, Kitia, Madeleine and Akari will get a chance to do something awesome!

    • Liza says:

I agree wit the too much anime. =_= Too much to watch and now enough time…

      • BlackBriar says:

Amen to that. I dropped Genshiken Nidaime after the second episode but I’m still overloaded. With what I have for Summer and four ongoing shows from Spring, I’m following 27 animes. For me, the most interesting are getting front and center and I’m looking at three that might end up on the chopping block.

        • skylion says:

Devils and Realist got the ax,and it looks like That dang ropa 🙂 is next. But now that Fosh has pointed out the LOLi Roomba, I cannot quit this.

          Brings me to 28 total.

      • Foshizzel says:

I dropped Dog and Scissors, Gifuu Doudou, Brothers conflict, Kimi no Iru Machi, Genshiken and I am about to drop Kamisami no Inai Nichiyoubi soon if nothing amazing happens in the 3rd episode! I was so damn bored with the 2nd episode >.< I didn't even bother watching any of the season two/three stuff like Ro-Kyu-Bu s2, Tamayura s3, Rozen Maiden, Highschool DxD s2 which I am planning on catching up with asap xD

        • skylion says:

I might drop Dog and Scissors as well. I think it has one more episode to go, in my mind, to pick up the pace a bit more. And I forgot to mention that I did pick up Ro-kyu-bu SS. I’ve caught up with the original series, and despite my judging a book by it’s cover when it came out, it is surprisingly good.

Ah, no Tamayura for you, man. Don’t you neeeeeed some healing?

          • Highway says:

I really enjoy Inu to Hasami, maybe I’m the only one. Plus, it’s on Monday when there’s hardly anything else. I doubt I’ll drop anything, but the things that are looking maybe possible are Brothers Conflict (Oh, it’s so risible, tho!), Blood Lad (I don’t know how you guys think it’s that funny, and Staz just looks awful), and Neptunia.

          • Foshizzel says:

I hear Dog and Scissors is really hilarious to some I just did not find it all that funny, but I think it had to do with the overall animation because it looks terrible! That and the dog comes off as super annoying to me.

I tried Ro-Kyu-bu when season one was airing but it wasn’t my cup of tea…

I never really heard much about Tamayura other than it was a super cute yuri series? Course I only saw 1 OVA LOL

            • skylion says:

It was a hoot at first, but the gags are wearing thin…

            • BlackBriar says:

Dog and Scissors is funny in its own way but I wouldn’t say it’s hilarious. My interest in continuing to watch is for the red eyed sadistic author wielding her pair of scissors.

Tamayura: More Aggressive is actually the second season of its series. There was a previous one though I never bothered to look at it when I had the chance.

        • BlackBriar says:

The three extra shows I will most likely drop are Kiniro Mosaic, Tamayura: More Aggressive and Silver Spoon. They just aren’t that appealing to me though Tamayura: More Aggressive may have a chance at survival.

          • skylion says:

You simply cannot drop Kiniro at this point in time. You’ve been subjected to near cosmic levels of moe/kawaii. If you stop now, the withdrawl is going to be horrendous……AND I WON’T BE THERE TO HOLD YOUR HAND! You quit, you’re on your own. Got it?

            LOL.

  5. BlackBriar says:

Second episode was alright. It’s slowly getting interesting.

Even if she was betrayed, Sasara came on a little too strong reprimanding Uzume about how she does things. It’s not like she was aware of what happened with their previous so she can’t persecute her if she doesn’t want to hurt other people’s feelings.

It was creepy seeing the dolls appearing in places other than their cards when they’re not summoned. Whether they’re friendly or not, that’s like being stalked by ghosts at every turn. And Uzume shouldn’t have reacted so recklessly seeing one of the dolls outside and drawing attention to herself. People can be surprised, yes, but they don’t let it affect their composure.

    • Foshizzel says:

Yeah things are getting better even if this series is a tad bit slow xD

Agreed BB I was like good lord Sasara would you calm the hell down and cut Uzume some slack she is a noob when it comes to this new card game?! Also like you said how would Uzume know that Sasara was betrayed in the past; however I do think Sasara was right that Uzume shouldn’t lie to her friends because she is afraid of hurting them.

Ooooh now that you mention that BB those girls do appear ghost like especially since they can appear ANYWHERE! Sort of reminded me of Yuuko from Tasogare Otome x Amnesia~

  6. Highway says:

Dangit, the OP to this is so banal, yet catchy. All can think of when I am reminded of this show is “Fanta-sista dooolllll!” from the theme.

    • Foshizzel says:

Ahaha yeah that is the power of Yasuharu Takanashi’s music it gets in your head and becomes addictive! That and he tends to work on a lot of magical girl shows or shounen-ish anime like Naruto and Fairy Tail~

Also I guess all the girls sing the OP for Fantasista? At least that is what ANN says lolll
