About

Is huge anime fan from Florida! who loves to watch anime and also enjoys drawing and collecting pictures, my favorite genre of anime has to be Mecha, there is just something awesome about giant robots beating the crap out of each other! Other than that type of show, I love a good comedy or action series :D

Wow, they really came out of left field with that ending didn’t they?

Good review, Fosh. I hope we can find our answers soon. My money is that the current murder mystery ties into the Prez’s past.

    • Foshizzel says:

Yes I was not expecting to see that ending with Kotoura-san passing out T_____T

Thanks! I liked having Jrow tag along for the fun review and yeah you might be right about them hinting at more stuff with the prez’s past xD

yea all fun & good are fine but now drama bombs are back again.

4eps to go wonder how it goes & if need a s2 oh please let it happen.

I’m hoping for another season as well. From the looks of it, it will end with proving the truth about Yuriko’s mother, clearing her name. Kotoura still hasn’t resolved anything with her mother though personally, I really don’t want to see any trace of her whatsoever.

    • Foshizzel says:

      yeppers the drama is returning!

As for another season I guess it might be cool to see more episodes of this in the future! Maybe they could bring in more characters with ESP powers? I mean not index level power of course…Kotoura doesn’t need any shounen.

  3. Highway says:

I still don’t think that Yuriko is going to be able to pull off her scheme, whatever it is. Like Daichi said, she doesn’t have it in her to be the villain. And even though she talked about what she plans to try to do to get Haruka to prove that ESP exists, I think that the upcoming storyline will probably cause her to change her thinking.

I thought the punishment for Manabe for having pervy thoughts was a bit overdone. Come on, what guy doesn’t have them? It gets a little whiplashy when we go from Haruka being jealous and depressed that she doesn’t have Yuriko’s boobs, even as Manabe’s fantasizing about them with some size, but then she gets all mad at him for thinking about her that way. Hasn’t she learned that all guys are like that?

    • Highway says:

To expand on my thinking in that first paragraph, I think we’re going to end up with a situation where Yuriko sees a lot of parallels to what happened with her mother. And as much as she wants to prove that her mother was not a fraud (which she intends to do by merely proving that ESP exists, not by actually proving her mother was right), my guess is that she will at some point falter when the choice is either her friend and kouhai Kotoura-chan or the memory of her mother.

Oh, and can we get Haruka to stop raising these drama flags? Never say “I’m so happy, I wish this could continue forever!” Idiot!

      • Foshizzel says:

Yep I can see all that happening Highway.

LOL I was thinking the same thing! I was like well…nice going you totally set off the drama flag T_____T

You cannot play with a pure girls heart.

    • BlackBriar says:

Yuriko doesn’t have it in her to be so underhanded. It’s not her nature and a person like Kotoura makes it even more so. After what happened with Hiyori in the earlier episodes finding out she’s caused more harm than good, she’ll probably give up on her plan and ask Kotoura upfront to help her clear her mother’s name.

  4. BlackBriar says:

How awkward. That locket necklace scene was too good to be true. I was expecting some sort of perversion and bam, there it was. LOL. Someone should tell the author to try something like that when we don’t fully know the lead male.

So Kotoura’s powers depend on her health. Well, that makes sense it’s part of her. Accelerator’s powers nearly took a nose dive after he got shot in the head. She was cute with her speech slurred and I didn’t know whether I should feel sorry for her or laugh.

Manabe still wins my sympathy. No matter how hard he tries, any situations that look promising for him always ends up half-assed. For him to get a kick out of wanting Kotoura to see his thoughts, the guy is a certified masochist.

The second half with the “punishment” (a date if you ask me) was nicely done. I would have called a true punishment when Hiyori, in her tsundere mode, beat up on Manabe for breaking everyone’s trust that he wouldn’t do or think anything perverted. Manabe saved some face by comforting Kotoura though he had a little relapse at the clothing store.

Lately, Yuriko has been doing more matchmaking than using Kotoura for her ulterior motives. It’s hard for me to fully understand why she set those two up in the first place. Maybe she’s having a change of heart but so far, she’s managed to keep her true intentions a secret even though everyone meets up at the club on a daily basis.

    • Foshizzel says:

Manabe for the win even though being Manabe is suffering, but at least he tries damn it! Most male leads like me and Jrow said act on their perverted thoughts leading to the usual walking in on them getting dressed or magically falling on top of them?

His punishment wasn’t that BAD I wouldn’t mind that <3

I guess Yuriko will use her contacts and maybe get the ESP club involved in the police investigation? I suspect she will film it and expose that power to the world! That could trigger Haruka's mom popping up afterwards learning that her daughter has ESP powers or something...who knows how things will go down the previews never really prepare us xDD

      • Highway says:

The ‘punishment’ was a matchmaking angle by Yuriko, who wanted to get those two on a date, but realized they’d never do it on their own.

And how desperate was Daichi’s mom to get him and Yuriko hooked up? I guess she figures Yuriko is the only chance she’s got to be a grandmother. I actually don’t really know how much Yuriko is interested in Daichi as a boyfriend, I wonder if more of her frustration is that he doesn’t look at her (or ANY girl) at all, and she’d like attention.

        • BlackBriar says:

I guess she thinks if those two get comfortable, Kotoura will be that much easier to open up. Manabe has become more a means than a nuisance to Yuriko. It makes sense because Kotoura’s still in her shell after going through hell most of her life thanks to her abilities. One the one hand, it’s a kind gesture and on the other, it’s profiteering because Yuriko still intends to use her. Though I doubt she’ll go through with it.

It’s ironic that Yuriko is matchmaking for others but she, herself, is down on her luck with Daichi. I think he does notice her but he puts up a front. Besides, he knows her better than anyone else. There’s no better match other than those two.

  5. HannoX says:

I guess the comedy is over for a while and it’s time to return to the drama. It makes sense that at some point Haruka was going to read something really nasty in someone’s mind. I can’t imagine the ESP Club is going to let that pass. Nor can I imagine them going to the police and the police just accepting, “That man’s a murderer; I read it in his mind.” So it looks like the ESP Club is going to have to do some sluething. Which raises the possibility of danger for them, especially Haruka.

    • Foshizzel says:

The comedy will probably take a break for a bit in favor of some drama and mystery/crime solving and I am curious to see how the ESP club exposes the criminal, but I think this is more of a way to give Yuriko a chance to use Haruka? I wonder if this will help Haruka and her mother? Maybe she will figure out that her daughter can read minds xD
