Awesome Podcast, I have to agree the ridiculous amounts of leaks prior to E3 really hurts the conference as a whole. That said I still think Watch Dogs was the big story and definitely game of the show for E3 this year.

I listed my favourite games on my blog recently so you can check em out if you like 🙂

      Thanks for listening Kidd 🙂

I guess they gotta keep those conferences tighter in terms of security. If you watch Space Brothers (Uchuu Kyoudai), do what they did with the phones and watches and sealed-up buses.

btw, your podcast feed in iTunes only shows the 2DT ep. I see the other eps on the site and I’m not too lazy to download the ep from your blog. It just would be a bit more convenient to have them all appear in iTunes.

Sweet podcast, everyone. I can’t stand it when any information gets leaked because not only does it hurt the conference but at the same time, it ruins the surprise for all the spectators waiting to see the next big thing. So it kills the mood.

I saw the video for All Starts and I have to say I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, it’s a cool idea to have all the badasses in one game ready for a fight but on the other hand, it’s like Sony is copying off of Super Smash Bros. That could be a serious blow to the game.

The Vita needs more love. It shows Sony’s improvement. The interesting games for it would be Gravity Rush, Assassin’s Creed: Liberation, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time and there’s even the Persona 4: The Golden scheduled in Fall. All hail the Vita for the Cross Play function!!! LOL.

Ubisoft continues to impress with Assassin’s Creed III. I was blown away by the forest and naval demos but but fell in love watching the official trailer. It’s like they can do no wrong. Creed always have the most epic trailers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pUhraVG7Ow

The thing that impresses me most about the Assassin’s Creed franchise is that even though a new game is released every year, it hasn’t gotten old on me. There are just enough changes to the formula and the story never ceases to bore me. I really can’t wait for more.

Nice job with the podcast, as always. New Meta listeners can get a good feel for how the usual friendly arguments pan out in a typical Anivision episode =w=

Hey, DmC Dante is still good-looking! I prefer his more mature version, but I don’t mind him getting a little scrawny and sporting some black hair. He could be a fat pig with wings for all I care, I just REALLY WANT TO PLAY THAT GAAAMEEE.

No one really won E3 this year, yeah…A kind of “meh” showing all around. Ah well, it was still fun while it lasted.

    • Jrow says:

Wish you could’ve joined us so that the ep didn’t seem so Anivision-y.

I wonder if just having a year to take in the idea of a scrawny & dark-haired Dante has settled down those that were up in arms about how he looked. I’m looking forward to it.

I would also suggest that the year 2013 won E3 when all those great games come out. The first quarter looks great with DmC, Bioshock, Tomb Raider, etc.

      • Overcooled says:

I would love to have joined you guys, but it wouldn’t be fair to push your schedule so late because of my night classes :/

The stubborn ones who have decided they will hate this new DmC solely based on Dante’s looks will be raging until the ends of time, but I think a lot of people are easing into his new design, yeah. Especially after seeing the gameplay videos…:3

2013 should be a mighty fine year for games! Time to save my money.
