[C] Original Soundtrack by Iwasaki Taku

Yep. It’s finally here! The sad fact is that, it doesn’t have tracks with all the cool shout outs of MEZZOFLATION, MICRO, MACRO, OPEN DEAL, etc. Also, the first soundtrack, “High Heel Shoes In Pink” is quite unexpected with the classic oldies feel to it. If I was thinking that I had downloaded something wrong the next track, “Invisible Hand” reassured me that it was indeed a [C] soundtrack by Iwasaki Taku; I think the guy mouthing off is the dude voicing the shout outs, if only we got more from him!

Oh well, the compilation is quite brilliant as I expected while reviewing this series when it was airing last season. I love the fusion of western and eastern music specifically and literally got a kick out of catching sitar playing in “The Wealth of Nations”. My favourites are: Invisible Hand, Bondage Head, Marx Syndrome, Passed Off and The Wealth of Nations. I only wished, they made a theme for all interesting characters like Mikuni, Masakaki, Kimimaro, Mysu, Q and Jennifer. This anime had so much potential that when I look back, I have to cringe at its execution but oh well, you can’t get everything in this world. Enjoy the soundtrack~ :3

    Yes, it’s finally here! Oh, how I miss C, it had so much potential but felt so unfinished at the end…sigh, at least I have the soundtrack. C and the Wealth of Nations definitely my favourites, since C sounds like the Dark Crow Smiles from Kuroshitsuji and the Wealth of Nations is just a boss of a battle song 🙂

    I just love how they borrowed Adam Smith’s quote in “Wealth of Nations” and “Invisble Hand”
