WOoooooooooooooooooot it’s out! Goooood job Jrow on this so quick <3

This was so much fun hanging out with Scamp! Really nice guy 😛

    • Kyokai says:

The beginning was such a surprise. I totally forgot how awesome Baccano! music was. xD

It was definitely pretty fun and we should invite him again some time. ^^

  2. TRazor says:

Wow, that was quiet a medley of accents. Certainly saved me the trouble of wondering who it was.

And when people say Irish accent, I just assume it sounds like Sheamus. Hmm, stereotyping (and maybe racist)…

Hmm, podcasts seem to be an interesting idea.

  3. Shinmaru says:

THE PAPER CUTOUTS IN KARE KANO ARE AWESOME

AND SO IS THE CREST OF THE STARS OP

    [/capslock]

    • Foshizzel says:

Hahaha Yep crest of the stars OP was great 😀

      • Joojoobees says:

Crest of the Stars! The OP is awesome, but the rest of the OST has some interesting stuff on it as well.

You guys are so right about Hanasaku Iroha, after the first two episodes it has turned into a huge disappointment.

        • Foshizzel says:

Sad but true on Hanasaku she was smart with the first two episodes now shes getting dumber as we go.

    • Kyokai says:

Now I feel like such an elitist for hating on some titles. xD

  4. Zabobinator says:

I shall comment here as I listen:

    – …I liked Chibitalia. T’WAS ADORBS. I only watched like…five episodes of Hetalia though. xD

    – Ah yes. Kare Kano. It is paper cut outs. It’s horrible.

    – C isn’t good? I was gonna start it…also…I like Johnny Depp. A lot. Jeeze.

    – I NEED TO WATCH EDEN OF THE EAST. IT’S ON MY TO-WATCH LIST!

    – I’m kind of with Hoshi on this. I didn’t particularly like the Deadman Wonderland OP. Loved the ED though. Also, the manga is SO much better than the anime. Shiro is quite the interesting girl. *grins*

    – AnoHana is my favorite. That is all.

Ahhh! This was fun to listen to! I really loved Scamp’s accent. Like…ok. I’m going to stop there before I come across as a creeper. Can’t wait until Metaverse E3! ^_^

    • Foshizzel says:

Hahaha this was a lot of fun ;D

Anohana is great! Love that 😛

      Wooooooooo E3! 😀

    • Kyokai says:

I didn’t say C isn’t good, I meant it’s been disappointing since the first episode with it’s crappy animation and CG on Masakaki (I love this character but damn the CG!) And you have to WATCH EDEN OF THE EAST. SO GOOD! xD

    • Yvoon says:

i need to watch Eden of the East as well…

but because my laptop cant play videos over 480p i cant really watch it now…

i refuse to play Eden of the East in 480p. its not good enough in 480

i’ll just wait until after high school where my parents will be willing to get me a better desktop. but wait, that just leeching off them….i’ll get it myself :) an apple one at that XD

2 more years!! HURRY UP 2 MORE YEARS!! HURRY UP AND PAAASS!!!!!

      • Kyokai says:

Good luck with your laptop and it’s fine leeching off your parents! Just repay them back in the same breath when you get a job after finishing your studies. At least that is what I did and I’m not ashamed! xD

    • Balloon Thief says:

You must watch Eden of the East because it has cool cellphones. But thats not the only reason.

  5. Overcooled says:

Sounds like you guys had fun with Scamp. I wish I could have been there, but meh, work. D:

Also, I hate Shiro too. Pointless comedic relief that ruins the mood. >_<

YES, NOEIN! I just finished that, and it's great for explaining time travel.

    • Foshizzel says:

Hopefully we will have him visit again sometime!

Agreed about Shiro! she gets all happy in the strange parts of the episodes, like Scamp said in a prison filled with evil guys and shes like LOL WEEEEEEEEEE Hyperrrr fun time.

After Deadman finishes I shall read the manga of course.

    • MikADo says:

maybe i should watch noein :3

      • fathomlessblue says:

Everyone should watch Noein. Multiple times. :)

        • Kyokai says:

This has suddenly gotten more priority on my list now. MUST WATCH NAOOOO!

          • Overcooled says:

Noein isn’t amazing but it’s pretty darn good! It has one of my favourite anime battles of all time in it. Very nice accompaniment to Steins;Gate with the time travel theories :3

  6. Yvoon says:

    awwwwwwwwwwwww….u didn’t answer the questions!!

i was so pumped to laugh for like 15 mins or so. i even mentally prepared myself!!

    =3=…oh well, there’s always next time. :)

but yeh, sort of skipped to the end (JUST to hear metaQ)…well i’ll listen to it properly this time round and hopefully comment soon :)

    • Kyokai says:

Because we were already running out of time due to the interview and then Spring coverage. But, we will on next, don’t you worry! ^^

  7. Ness says:

WTF Hato random Sausage rolls comment…

Interesting discussions and especially the intense time travel debate. Can’t believe nobody other than Scamp really saw Noein!! PFFT And some of you are time travel themed fans j/king.

It’s so funny the ending part where Hato interrupting on Scamp’s message to his readers. xD

    • Kyokai says:

Hato is all about random sausage… >.>

Hey! I’ve watched enough Hollywood movies and series to last me a decade on time travel but Noein is now on my watch-list. Btw, hint – this was not the first time Hato interrupted Scamp while saying something… xD

  8. Dan-go says:

I DISLIKE YOU C IS AWESOME SHUUUUUSH!!!! it’s so eden of the easty and awesomey and i dislike you!!!!

    • Kyokai says:

Hahahaaaaaa! I don’t hate C, damn it!!! I just expected more from it. =.=

      • Balloon Thief says:

Yeah C does have this weird combination of characters taking things seriously and their surroundings being absolutely ludicrous. So your sad while fighting in an alternate world with a digimon equivalents. Come on that would be freaken awesome get over it. The reason I’m still watching it is because I feel like there is a bigger conspiracy then they’re letting on. *scary noises*

    • Foshizzel says:

      CGI MAN! ARG

Well that red demon is cute <3

  9. MikADo says:

loved the show 😀 (like always)

-i agree that Yukio’s gun action was NOT great at all
i like ao no exorcist, but that gun shooting was..
he was like shooting in one direction, fast forward 10 times
and just flip the character around a few bit.. thats not action

-oh god i want that noblesse oblige phone

-loved the music like always, and especially Bacano because i just re-watched the whole series like 2 days ago XD

    – Nichijou episode 5?6? the deer and the principle placed the anime on my top list. until then it wasnt

-C, yes kyokai, i agree that our expectations have betrayed us.. not completely, but it still disappointed us

-Steins;Gate is the BEST, and considering Higgs Boson, I was reading an article about it as you were mentioning it XD surprise surprise

-Azazel-san is verrry hilarious, although it lacked the craziness of the OVA

-Maria Holic is AWESOME, but Shaft is busy this year like always, and haven’t released their full potential yet..still love the parodies

-Tiger&Bunny is so mainstream, but it isn’t mainstream 😛 get it? anyways i love it

-Fireball Charming is the proof that Disney understands MOE

    -TOHOU PROJECT FUCK YEAH
    -Good Work Jrow ‘ㅅ’b
-Nice to meet you Scamp XD
    -NEXT EP PLZ (゚∀゚)/

    • Balloon Thief says:

I would buy so much stupid and semi-useful stuff if I had the Noblesse Oblige cellphone. But I need it, it is the epitome of cellphone technology. At least until they get those 3D displays working well.

I agree that Yukio’s gun action looked pretty lame by itself but when compared to Ren’s power-up and sword combo it looked even less awesome.

      • MikADo says:

maybe we shouldn’t expect so much action for ao no exorcist…
although its shonen, the action parts aren’t really holding up :3 though most of the animation is good

    • Kyokai says:

Awesome comment, is awesome~ And what a coincidence that you were reading up on Higg’s boson! *insert Okarin’s laugh here*

We have many promising titles this season so we shouldn’t be feeling all that disappointed. I’m quite happy with the way some series are going and yeah, Fireball Charming NEEDS MOAR LOVE! I would so buy a Drossel figurine. xD

Thank you for all the compliments and we will be back soon enough~ ^^

      • MikADo says:

thanks XD and Drossel figures are already on sale 😀
i would like to buy one as well XD

  10. MikADo says:

my comment is lost once again 😛

    save me kyokai XD

  11. Carla says:

    Nice job Guys ♥
I still waiting for Hanasaku Iroha post…
It’s one of my favourites; and that’s really weird because it’s slice of life; and I usually don’t like that kind of anime, but that one it’s great :3

    • Kyokai says:

      Thanks, Carla! xD
Sassy has been eaten by a giant squid. We are still awaiting his return so Hanasaku will be WIP for a while.
Hanasuki sure started strongly but it has gone to a weird puddle right now, I hope the writers figure themselves out and soon.

  12. TSRL says:

    You really don’t like Flags, don’t you…

Also, good job for your third episode. I thought this podcast would have died already, but it looks like it still wants to keep going.

Also, I’m at school and I’m TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLING.

The really suspicious (and bizarre) red lamp, out.

  13. Leah-san says:

    WEEEEEEE~ SCAMP~
I’m happy to hear his voice as well too. It’s kinda… calming.

Oh, and this was really nice to listen to, as one could actually hear all the voices, and it was pretty entertaining, compared to other podcasts. You could hear the fun you were all having.

ALSO THAT ACCENT~ <3 It's already infamous xD
And that Crest of the Stars Opening is fuckin' amazing. It kinda reminds me of E.T.

    • Kyokai says:

This episode was quite an ACCENTFUL episode but the team sure had an awesome time with Scamp and it was more of a hanging out than just interview or discussion.

I hear you about Crest of Stars. So good! xD

  14. Leah-san says:

Also, best message ever. I never get tired of your tags, Scamp~
You should do this more often. <3 Please continue to be awesome, both you and the Metanorn Team. Because you and these guys really brighten my days. I looking forward to the next podcast!

    • Kyokai says:

Scamp is definitely an awesome sport.
Another avid listener? Thank you, Leah-san.
I hope you keep on enjoying just as much as we do, while recording. ^^

  15. Moni Chan says:

an anime about an anime fan going back in time to destroy an anime … FTW

    • Kyokai says:

And it would sell like Madoka, damn it! xD

    • fathomlessblue says:

That reminds me of the first ep of Excel Saga, where Excel is ordered to kill Koshi Rikdo, the original manga artist, which in turn causes her anime universe to collapse. Brilliant!

  16. fathomlessblue says:

Bah, not another incentive to watch Banner/Crest of the Stars. Too many shows, not enough time… sigh

Anyway, great podcast guys, really enjoyed it.

    • Ness says:

Yeah, after hearing that instrumental, it almost made me want to check out the anime too xD Well, it’s on my ever so long to-watch list.

    • Kyokai says:

Double that too much to watch and too little time. >.<”

But, thank you! I hope you keep on enjoying our episodes. :3

  17. Shinmaru says:

BTW, how do I get on this podcast? Sounds like it would be a lot of fun!

  18. Scamp says:

Dat Hetalia pic! It’s the one I used on my very last Hetalia post. Ah the memories~

It was fun chatting with you guys =D

  19. […] from the usual written posts. Podcasting would seem like the obvious option, and I did guest star on some other peoples podcasts, but the main complaint I’ve heard about podcasts is […]

  20. jGLZa says:

Wow, my 1st MetaVerse ep happens to have one of my favorite anibloggers around… great fun to put a voice to each of your names.

Loved the podcast, the musical interludes were a nice touch too. But the part im most impressed about is your write up of the minutes for the episode, very helpful for forgetable people like me, thanks. Keep up the great work.
