Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin ED Single

Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin ED Single, Kimi ga Iru Basho by Takagaki Ayahi

*takes a deep breath* I love this show but somehow or the other I’m unable to blog this in time as it airs on a weekday. So, a quick release of the ED Single before I crash (I was looking forward to Flying Humanoid by Shouko Nakagawa more but it’s releasing in late August), to make up for the lack of an episodic review.

If you haven’t heard already, Metanorn is looking for fresh blood and I would love to add some new faces to the team to get things going on our summer line-up and a very promising fall. You can apply by sending your application/ queries to [email protected]. Feel free to contact me with any questions that you might have and I will try my best to respond them all.

Coming back to the music, this has really grown on me just like the anime so enjoy!

Artist: Takagaki Ayahi

1. Kimi ga Iru Basho
2. Watashi Dake no Sora
3. You Raise Me Up
4. Kimi ga Iru Basho (Instrumental)

wow thx for the OP! Btw i wanna know this but…. what happened to kanzeon and tsuiteru? really kinda miss them time and then. You’re a good blogger but i kinda missed the duet. Just wondering by any chance if they will come back? Or they won’t and you’re the owner of the site now?
Thx for your reply in advance! :freeze2:

Welcome, Gantoris! If you see our About page, Kanzie and Tsui are still very much on it. It’s summer so they have gone on a hiatus for a while. This site is still pretty much theirs, I’m just filling in some big shoes to keep the site alive. ^_^

Actually I like the ED musically (it looks okay, but visually can’t compete with the density of the occult imagery in the OP). The ED may not be the greatest song I’ve ever heard, or the most original, but it is a well-crafted pop tune with good vocals. I like the large skips in the melody. The extended version has a decent breakdown section, too.

Definitely agree, OP is just too awesome visually (with an array of symbolism) and soundly too. I had it stuck to my head for at least two days. Though, even ED has a nice tune to it and is head-nodding to the least.
