Kanz: This is definitely worth checking out. The character designs reminds me a lot of Haruhi Suzumiya plus I’m predicting that the animation for this would work out well so why not? Probably watching this to pass time.
Tsui: Three reasons: I’m a KyoAni fanboy, I play the guitar, and cute girls playing music: I’m sold and more determined 😀 On my watch list NOW! …And is it just me or I’m smelling another “GOD KNOWS”-ly performance by Kyo-Ani?

Tsui: Looking forward for this one. It’s all awesomeness and the art is cool. I just hope it stays the same with the anime. …And Alice is a freaking adorable little tsundere.
Kanz: I definitely agree with you. I hope this gets as awesome.

>> Miyanaga Saki is a very skilled mahjong player. One day she gets dragged into the Mahjong Club and surprises some of the other members by being able to break even after every round, a play style that developed due to the fact that her family would get mad if she won whenever they played so she would carefully lose on purpose. But here’s the catch, she hates mahjong.
Kanz: Lol Mahjong and Gonzo…
Tsui: It’s like their gambling more of their budget… But that big-boobed girl holding a penguin looks interesting…
Kanz: Because of the boobs, you perverted scoundrel?
Tsui: Umm… no. Um ok, yea, ugh you got me there… But hey! I sure do hope that there would be no fukken censors with this one unlike Rosario+Vampire with those gdamned bats censoring the goodness…
Kanz: Maybe cards would be flying out of nowhere this time?

Kanz: Pass… Really, I have no idea what to say on this… I’m just trying to make my part here look long but I guess it looks effective since my part here looks long now… So umm… yeah, no comment about this show, and I’m too lazy to type… See, I have nothing to say here. So yeah, I definitely have no idea so I have nothing to say and it’s so embarassing if my dialogue on this part would be short… Sorry because I’m too lazy to type and I have got nothing to say…
Tsui: Wow kanz, so you really have NOTHING to say there… Anyway, LOL at the first time I saw this poster I was like “WTF, Avatar?!” Yeah lol and I have exactly no idea on this anime. Maybe I’ll watch it for the lulz.

SENJOU NO VALKYRIA -GALLIAN CHRONICLES-

>> Valkyria Chronicles is set in a fictitious continent reminiscent of 1930s Europe – divided in two and ruled by the Empire and the Federation. The Empire has set its sights on invading a small neutral country called Gallia, which is situated in the middle of the two great empires. The story follows a hero named Welkin, a young woman named Alicia, and their fellow soldiers of the Federation’s 7th Platoon as they engage in a series of epic battles.
Kanz: OMG I’m so happy that this would be animated!!! Plus it’s A-1, which handled some anime with good qualities recently! And the voice actors are also the originals! Definitely watching this one!!! But still, I’m not yet finished with the game TT_TT…
Tsui: I’ll be also watching this one too! Valkyria Chronicles is an overall good gaming experience, so I hope this would also be for the anime. But still, my expectations would be not that high since there’s a LOT of disappointing and mediocre game-anime adaptations…

Thanks for the very detailed (and very entertaining) coverage for the upcoming season. I am sure to be watching Full Metal Alchemist. Plus I’m so glad that Rie Kugimiya and Romi Oaku retained their roles as Ed and Al.
Lot of OVAs too. I’ll probably check out DOGS, for it seems like a good watch. Hope it would not fail as an adaptation though.

ZOMG La Corda!!! Will it be a full second season or is it just an OVA? Anyways, I’ve been waiting for my whole life for this one. My friends always keep telling me that it’s impossible for it to have a sequel but ha!

I still don’t know if I’ll pick up game turned anime adaptations this season because the previous ones disappointed me. Hope Valkyria Chronicles would change it since it looks promising. I also like the character designs ^^.

Looking forward to Natsu no Arashi and Shangri-la. I’ll also try Saki (but the comments about Gonzo censoring makes me worry though xD). And as for the OVAs, Denpa Teki na Kanojo and Dogs are the ones I’ll try to check out. Oh, and K-on too. I have no idea with its plot but for the sake of KyoAni worship, I’ll watch it.

@defining_gravity: Welcome ^^. And I love Rie’s interpretation for Ed! She shows versatility asides from her tsundere roles. I don’t know about dogs though… I only know a small bit of it and I haven’t read the yet.
@Ashe: Yea, Mimi joins in ^^. I was also waiting for a La Corda sequel to come! And I’m so glad it did! This is just a primer though, but I’m not yet sure… And with KyoAni under K-On!, I also have high hopes ^^. AND OMG Valkyria!!! I hope it would not be disappointing unlike those other adaptations!!!
@shoryu: Well, lol we’re just predicting though about Saki XDD… Well you know GONZO’s hardest efforts for them to make everyone buy DVDs… SO maybe that thing could happen XDDD

The Haruhi second series announcement turned out to be a disappointing troll.. Somewhat I’m getting too tired of waiting. For the next season, I’ll be checking out Shangri-la, for it has a really interesting premise. The Gonzo thing under it was worrying though… But who knows, maybe it would be a hit?

HANASAKERU SEISHOUNEN looks fabulous! I want to blog it, but we’ll see if I find time.
I liked the song in the trailer of Ghost 7 🙂 I don’t like the style of character design, but that guy with white hair and purple eyes is hot ( Reminds me of a male version of a certain maid 😛 )! The protagonist with green eyes reminded me of Raven from Hakushaku to Yousei.
When a mysterious naked man saves a woman in front of a White House, you know the series is going to be good 😛
I have somewhat ambivalent feelings to FMA 2. On one hand, I am curious to see the new version, but on the other hand, since I already know the characters and traveled with them on their journey, I am somewhat hesitant to go through it again. Also, since music plays a big part in my anime experience and Michiru OSHIMA (she also composed for Xam’d) did an excellent job, I want to keep my memory of the original anime the way it is.
Shangri-la has great character design by Range Murata 🙂
It is highly likely that I’ll blog at least two of the shows, but which ones will they be is a secret for now 😛

07-Ghost is a definite watch for me!!! I’m also fangirling it especially Teito and Mikage!!! Kyaaa~~~ But well you might know what would happen next right T_T? And I’m also glad it’s by Studio DEEN! Since the character designs reminds me so much of Junjou Romantica. I guess it’s the perfect production studio for it. ^_^
Besides from that, need to find more shows that’ll catch my interest thoguh, so I’ll check back into this list every once in a while 😀
