New Banner: musique d’hiver
musique d’hiver
Well, music somewhat inspired me these past few days so I decided to make a music-related one without losing its winter/Christmas touch. The result is a Nodame Cantabile banner!!! I chose brown tones because it really looks warm and yummy. “musique d’hiver” means “winter music” ^_^ (I even checked freetranslations xD). My favorite part of my banner is the piano keys effect and the G-clef-inspired text backdrop. Yeah Kairu, I’m also learning the piano XD…
Also on a random note, another thing that inspired me to do is my new bob haircut ‘ala Nodame. It’s the shortest hair I ever had (well, since my baby days XD) because I always kept it long ever since then. If I had been emo on my previous banner, I had move on to that (the new hair speaks for it!!!) THE REBEL HAMSTER IS HERE XD!!!

Ah. I saw the new banner and was wondering why there wasn’t a post. Seemed so unusual, especially since it’s such a nice banner, I figured there had to be a story behind it.
…It really is a nice banner. I think it’s my favorite out of all the ones I’ve seen on your site so far.

Great banner! I’m no fan of the Nodame anime/manga (issues with the art and character designs) but I absolutely enjoyed the live-action adaptation.

I like your new banner 🙂 The perspective of the shot is quite interesting and piano keys are a nice touch. Nodame is on my watch list still, and I’ll try to see it someday.
I tried to learn piano and managed to play some pieces, but I realized that it takes a very long time to be really good at it, and I am not talented in that area. I am not good at drawing either, but it is something that I enjoy very much 🙂
The rebel hamster and kitties are very cute 🙂
