Charming Rock Boy (Nousatsu Rock Shounen) is the sequel to the oneshot Charming Rock Star (Nousatsu Rock Star) by Kikuchi Kamaro. The story tells about the unique story of Fujisaki Maki, who once had a peaceful life, until where she decided to help Nobitani, who is the target of bullying. Now everyone’s bullying her because she helped him. Because Nobitani feels guilty, he gives Maki tickets to a famous local band called ‘East Robo’. Since Maki is a huge fan of the band and its charismatic lead, Maki decides to go and during the concert. Maki noticed that Neji, the band’s lead singer, took a glance at her when he sung a ballad!

Nobitani is always the target of bullying at school. He got the nick Nobitani because of his resemblance of Nobita, from Doraemon.

Since Maki is his friend and savior, she also gets bullied along. Poor gal… To show appreciation and guiltiness because of the outcome of Maki, Nobitani gave Maki a front row ticket to the concert of East-Robo, a very popular band. Maki happens to be a fan of it and gladly accepts the ticket.

Neji is the lead singer of E-Robo. His charm and prescence automatically win the hearts of the fans.

During that concert, Maki noticed that Neji took a glance on her when he is singing a ballad song!

Maki noticed something with Nobitani the next day on how he asked her about the concert of East Robo.

Besides from that, she also noticed that he has a tongue piercing when he surprisingly licked his hand when it got wounded! (*faints* Licking scenes makes my knees very weak…)

Photobucket

Nobitani seems to act more liberated around Maki and Maki finds it very strange… As if this Nobitani guy is not really in his weak, timid and awkward self. After that, Nobitani gave another ticket to Maki, saying that this concert is really special so she shouldn’t miss it. (Umm.. How did he know?)

Photobucket

But too bad Maki got bullied by her classmates and stole her ticket away from her T.T… Gosh, bullying in Japan seems to be very scary…

Photobucket

Again, how did he know about that?

Photobucket

Nobitani sems to notice Maki’s wounds and bruises…

Photobucket

Kyaaa~! OMG this guy seems to have a fetish on licking XD…

Photobucket

The bullying bitches seems to have noticed that Nobitani’s been giving all those tickets to Maki all along so they ask him for some… But…

Photobucket

OMG he’s taking those glasses off!!!

Photobucket

Nobitani is Neji!!! Lol Hannah Montana much ~This is the best of both worlds~ XDD Look at how those idiots reacted… And Maki seemed to be very surprised too ^_^.

Photobucket

In your face, bitches.

Photobucket

Aww…

Photobucket

Aww…

And that’s how their story started! Believe it or not this is only the first chapter of the manga! Follow the manga as how Neji and Maki faces challenges and obstacles on their privacy, relationship, and encountering rivals (get used to them in romance), lesbian lovers (O_o really.), and copycats. I assure you that the story is so sweet and fun!!!

Maki is one very very lucky girl T.T… Lol. Neji is a super cool guy and it shows that he really loves Maki so much ^_^. It also proves that we should not judge others instantly by their outside appearance, we should be close to them, and wait for them to give us VIP passes, and we’ll just find out that they’re celebrities XD . And remember Hannah Montana? The Frog and The Prince? Yeah, learn that lesson whatever that is. Really, and glasses are hawt on anime/manga guys…  I just don’t know why sometimes they don’t in real life XD…(lol I’m feeling really crazy today XP forgive me for that XD) I’m so loving this manga, hope you’ll like it too so check it out!

Haha looks fun!! I’m so going to read it. kya rock star >_<! You know that bullying thing in schools of Japan? I wonder it is really like that or they are just exaggerating in mangas and animes..?

@irem: I don’t really know, but it is shown in some manga/anime (examples are Koko ni Iru yo, Koizora, and especially Jigoku Shoujo, and many more), as well as some j-dramas, shows that bullying in Japan is extreme. It’s just sad.
