Toradora! 03: – The Sparkly Minorin
A Minorin-centric episode! …Umm I don’t know if I would be happy about that…
At school, Ryuuji glances over at Minori, who’s playing baseball. Taiga then poked his eyesballs because she said that he’s making a perverted face. Ryuuji’s been saying that Minori’s oh so shiny, sparkly, glittery and stuff but whatever ml idc…
Minori talks about her job as a cellphone designer in class. She puts on Swarovski crystals into them to make it look more fab. I also have some on my phone ^_^…
Besides from that Ryuuji also noticed htat she has a lot of jobs. From being a waitress to almost everything. Ryuuji asked Taiga why but she kept it classified. When they encountered a fellow which had been a costumer of Ryuuji’s MILF mom, they had been lead into an another place where Minori also works. They lend them a hand. While working, Ryuuji and Minorin got accidentally stuck inside a warehouse. Back on the Taiga, she was even forced to carry heavy stuff and ride a bike, which she couldn’t do.
She just ran afar but she fell unto the riverbanks. There she saw Kitamura-kun who gave her some piece of advise. Taiga had been motivated by him and tries her hardest to accomplish the task given to her. Meanwhile, Ryuuji and Minori attempts to escape but fails and just tried to play baseball. Ryuuji had noticed that Minori’s hand is shaking, which means that she is scared or nervous. When Ryuuji asked her that, she admitted that she is does that to hide her weaknesses. After that, Taiga was in rage in search for Ryuuji and ends up finding them but Taiga also got stuck when the ladder she clibed fell.
Taiga is the only one who can transform EMO to MOE.

I like Minorin but too much of her genki ramblings in one episode can be tiring to watch. I also noticed something interesting in her. In that scene when Ryuuji thought she was just forcing her smile because she hides the fact that she’s scared. Maybe Minori was also scared of Ryuuji like all of their other classmates and she just hides it because Taiga is her friend. PLUS, is it just me or am I getting the feeling of Minori ending up with Kitamura? I’m always seeing them together! Lol I can’t help but to ship some XD… Umm… Nothing much to say about this episode because honestly, I haven’t seen anything impressive at all unlike the previous two. I’m waiting for the next episode though, where a new character would be introduced.

Hmm, I really liked this episode and thought it was just as awesome as the second episode (‘cos I haven’t seen the first yet and I’m too lazy to). I really liked Minori and didn’t find her tiring one bit. She’s just too adorable, and I like her way of thinking. I hope she doesn’t end up with Kitamura because … he’s just not good enough. I don’t think Minori is sacred of Ryuuji, but it would be interesting if that was the reason why she was so scared being locked up with him!

@blissmo: Many really had diverse opinions on Minorin. She’s very adorable ^_^. I really like her genki-ness but I just think it got overused in this episode. I can still relate to her too irl because I’m full of positivity.
And yep, it would be very interesting if Minori is really afraid of Ryuuji :).

Hmm, skipping this one (totally forgot to watch it). But at least Taiga is finally warming up to me. Turning EMO to MOE. Absolutely true. xD

I can totally see Kitamura and Minorin getting together, too, but as of now, they’re still just classmates to each other. Which is why I’m curious to see how Ami can change things when she shows up next week. I haven’t read pass her introduction in the translations but I like her, even though her character is one that many people will normally hate.

So so true. I could see why people like Taiga as well, but I think I got so used to characters that have a Louise-like personality that they do not appeal to me anymore as much as they did back then.
