15: LONELY IN GORGEOUS – Paradise Kiss OP
Just listening to this upbeat disco music of Tommy Febuary6 makes you wanna go dance like crazy and throw up a party! Even my non-otaku classmates are raving on this song! Lonely and Gorgeous has a catchy tune which fits the hip and modern vibe of the series. Btw, have you seen the PV of the song? It’s retardedly funny (no offense) yet Tommy-chan is still as cute and adorable as ever~!

14: FLY AWAY – Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto ~Natsu no Sora~ OP
This rockin-laid back song by THYME is really catchy and it’s really something that I can put up on my iPod to listen on a trip with friends. The OP sequence of the anime is contrasting the song with its wonderful sceneries and peaceful views which makes it very interesting. Another OP sung by THYME that is worth mentioning here is “Forever We Can Make It!” (To-Love-Ru”)

13: RISE – Ghost In The Shell SAC OP
What is interesting on the song sung by Origa is that it is sung in [EDIT:]Russian then in English! It is very cool for an OP theme to have uniqueness in it and Ghost in the Shell SAC has it. The song is accompanied by an action-packed video, which makes it uber-cool!

12: RE-SUBLIMITY – Kannazuki no Miko OP
I LOVE the music of Kotoko! I’m finding it hard whether to put “Special Life” (Kamen no Maid Guy), “Second Flight” (Onegai Twins), or this one in this spot but I finally decided to put this one ^_^ but they are worth mentioning here! Kannazuki no Miko is one of the better yuri series that I’ve seen out there. The song itself is groovy and techno (like any other Kotoko songs). Definitely my fave yuri anime opening theme.

11: THE WORLD – Death Note 1st OP
This hard rock song from Death Note will stay as one of my favorites because it already brings intensity at the start of the show. The emo-rock vibe going on here suits the anime. The video animation is also great from L and Light facing each other, to Misa in the rain, and to the Light painting thing at the end. It gives impact.
