As a manga reader I can tell you as unbelievable as it seem none of the girls end up as Yuri. All of them are just very VERY good friends.

I kinda figured as much, but ill settle with VERY good friends, then again who says the anime team has to follow everything from the manga? Who knows maybe they will go for a different route? It’s happened to many manga and LN adaptations before.
Oh I’m sure and id imagine the same thing goes for the creator of Yuru Yuri.

Ah, Yes, Amanchu! SO Junichi Satou is back on the line again, To be honest I do not know about ARIA so much but (But of couse i know about Tamayura), Well, at least i would give this a try, so, i feel….HMMM
I Mean Look at that Facial Expression of that Girl, it not unique really but at least it kinda new to me at least in a SoL Genre, it reminds me of this one or this one!
So yeah i give this an alternate name for this show

I Don’t Think so Really, I mean for me its just another weird looking girl, with a weird looking face, just like any other girl does…Period!

For some reason, it seems to me that they’ve changed the character designs a little bit from the PV that was out, or maybe just with more polish they look more like standard characters, but I think I’d have liked a little bit rougher look to the show than they have. The other thing I’d like is a bit less muppet-face. I’m not a huge fan of super-deformed models, but do agree that it can be effective, especially when those models are cute, too. Like in Anne Happy, it looked almost exactly like nendoroid figures, and was used just for emphasis. And if you want absolutely atrocious super-deformed, see Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru. These aren’t terrible, but it’s hard to escape that muppet comparison.

I’m a fan of “less is more”. So I hope they pull it back a bit. I mean, they got the unusual cat design, so that should be fine in the super-deformed department. So, let’s see if they got it out of their system the first two or so episodes.
I mean Hikari plays the world at about and 11 so the constant Muppet Head makes sense?

If you haven’t gotten to episode 3, then you haven’t seen them yet. Although I always hesitate to call these things ‘healing’.

I would call them “soothing”, before healing. But then, it’s a matter of context. If you’re stressed out (for whatever reason for the value of your stress) then soothing could be healing?

Yeah, Soothing works pretty well, I usually go to ‘relaxing’. Although sometimes ending up crying during Tamayura isn’t really relaxing.

No… no, I stopped because I didn’t feel the soothing? vibes and the muppet face was scaring me. But maybe I should pick it back up.
I guess soothing works better, but healing sounds better. =). I’m not sure about relaxing, because I would describe most SoL as relaxing, but Aria was in a different league altogether.

You can’t just stop after the first episode. But really, episode 2 is good, and episode 3 kicks it in.
