  1. Di Gi Kazune says:

FKPI. Enough said. Equal amounts of SoL and action.

Q1. FKPI. Wait. It is already getting a fourth season.

Q2. a) Oh Sweet NekoLOLis. b) Shota of Babylon. Runner up: Boy – Aura, Girl Mare.

    Q3. Cannot remember.

    Q4. Song of Legends 2.

  2. IreneSharda says:

Hey, if Ore Monogatari and Kekkai Sensen can be on here, then why wasn’t Arslan included? Sure it started in the Spring, but so did these two. *pouts*

But anywho, as to what my top 5 were?

    1) Rokka no Yuusha
    2) Arslan Senki
    3) Classroom Crisis
    4) Gakkou Gurashi
    5) Gangsta

    For the Bonus Questions,
    1) Honestly almost all of the series I watched last season can get a second season, especially my top 5. However, I think Gakkou Gurashi and Ore Monogatari ended pretty well and don’t really need second seasons. Gatchaman Crowds doesn’t need anymore seasons either.

2)Favorite Girl was Flamie of Rokka no Yuusha. Favorite Guy is a tie between Nicolas from Gangsta and Adlet from Rokka. Nagisa of Classroom Crisis is a runner-up.

3)The many reveals and plot twists of Classroom Crisis and the confession episode in Rokka.

4)As of right now, Gundam has a lot of potential, and Heavy Object is beginning to look promising.

    • Foshizzel says:

Lol my bad! I have added it to the poll list.

Not a bad list even though I only like you’re number three choice 😛

Q1: True on Gatchaman and I wonder about Gakkou I know there is more story outside of the school which I am curious about.

Q2: Flamie is the best character in Rokka and Nic of Gangsta is also great!

Q3: Those were some great reveals in Classroom Crisis

Q4: Yeah agreed on Gundam and Heavy Object.

  3. BlackBriar says:

    Best series of the Summer:
    Shokugeki no Soma
    Durarara!!x2 Ten
    Gate
    Overlord
    Rokka no Yuusha

    Q1:

    Series that deserve another season:
Shokugeki no Soma (I’d say this 100 times over!)
    Aoharu x Kikanjuu
    Classroom☆Crisis
    Gangsta
    Gatchaman Crowds
    Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou
    Overlord
    Senki Zesshou Symphogear
    Rokka no Yuusha
    Kekkai Sensen

I could say others but they already have confirmed sequels.

Series I would deny ever getting another season:
    Chaos Dragon: Sekiryuu Sen’eki
    Jitsu wa Watashi wa

    • Foshizzel says:

      Souma was great!

Rokka? I beg to differ I was bored the entire time with the stupid mystery of the extra brave! After the 3rd week of it I was tired of it…

Gate yeah there is a second half so that works.

Overlord I hope so! I know madhouse isn’t a studio that does a whole lot of second seasons and only did overlord for a quick buck.

Q1: I agree with half xD

Q2: RIP Jitsu wa! I liked the characters but yeah.

    • Di Gi Kazune says:

OTOH, apparently Rokka bombed spectacularly despite the raveviews.

OTOOH, all hail our Overlord: Ainz Ooal Gown!

  4. Samsura says:

OI! You guys didn’t even bother to include Ninja Slayer!?! I call oversight! But fine, I’ll play into your game

Q1) You know, I don’t like Gatchaman, but I would love another season. Viewing Gatchaman is like watching Donald Trump: I hate what it has to say, but the experience of watching them implode on themselves is highly entertaining.

Q2) Favorite guy is Akechi from Ranpo Kitan. Favorite girl is Rebecca from Lupin

Q3) Not a favorite moment, but when Ibuki had to re-kill Mashiro in Chaos Dragon was one of the most stunning moments of bad writing in a show that is almost the epitome of bad writing.

Q4) I have high hopes for another Garo anime, but Gundam Iron Blood Orphans has had the best start and looks to be an amazing show. Shout out to Osomatsu-san being the funniest show to premier this fall!

    • Foshizzel says:

As much as I love Trigger I really tried too love Ninja Slayer and sadly I dropped it after 11 episodes! Yeah they are short episodes I know, but the gag of silly art got old fast.

Q1: Lol you don’t like Gatchaman? We have something in common! Then again season two was a slight improvement from the first season at least for me…I was annoyed by all the political BS because isn’t Gatchaman about freakin superheroes? I didn’t know it was about damn elections and third season would work if they focus on what Gatchaman SHOULD be! I want over the top fights with badass aliens.

Q2: You might as well put Akechi in both lolol

Q3: I didn’t even give Chaos two episodes before dropping it.

Q4: Yeah that new Gundam has even non Gundam fans watching and that is a shock, but a good kind of shock and comedy wise Osomatsu-san was funny even though I find One Punch Man to have better comedic moments.

  5. akagami says:

    Picked my 5.

    For the bonus:
Q1: Akagami no Shirayuki-hime or Ore Monogatari!! Maybe Gate, but the later manga chapters lost my interest. As for deny, I can’t say, as I skipped a lot of on that list because I didn’t find them interesting.

Q2: Shalltear from Overlord. Vampire with powerful undead and holy powers? Whaaaatttt~~~ Bad ass. For guy, Takeo from Ore Monogatari!! A man’s man.

Q3: Hmm, maybe not the best, but the most memorable was with Nagisa and Iris/Mizuki from Classroom Crisis.

Q4: Gundam because I’m hoping it will redeem everything since Seed. K because I ended up loving the first season (more Neko! and the rest of the cast). And Comet Lucifer looks very promising.

    • BlackBriar says:

Q2: Shalltear from Overlord. Vampire with powerful undead and holy powers? Whaaaatttt~~~ Bad ass.

Yes! Agreed! 100% agreed on Shalltear! And her power rivals her own master. Easily and undisputedly best vampire for Summer 2015!

    • Foshizzel says:

Q1: I would loveeeeeeeee more Ore Monogatari! I need more Yamada <3

Q2: Those are fine choices! I didn't care too much for Shalltear, but they made her somewhat better after bringing her back from the dead.

Q3: Yeah those three were fun to watch minus the surprise I LOVE YOU/kiss thing between Mizuki and Nagisa! I felt it was way too sudden.

Q4: Agreed on all three of your choices! Personally I want Comet Lucifer to be the next Eureka Seven because I continue to get that vibe from the series so far.

  6. Highway says:

Jitsu wa Watashi wa was my favorite show, for its great treatment of its characters and its setting, and for letting the entire show be true to that. And it was funny and touching and sweet all the way through.

The show I finished that I liked the least was Rokka no Yuusha. I felt that it didn’t succeed in making whatever mystery interesting, and pulled reveals out of its ass just for shock value and because it didn’t have anywhere else to go.

Favorite female character of the season was Rory Mercury. Favorite male character was Makoto Sunakawa.

Best moments of the season were all of Nagisa Aizawa’s reactions to the crazy things happening around her.

Best show of the season currently is Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry. I’m hoping it can keep up the great relationship between the two main characters.

    • Foshizzel says:

I wasn’t too sure about Jitsu wa, but I loved the unique characters too.

Agreed on Rokka I never got into the mystery vibes for the series! It played out too much like guess who for a good 6 episodes or so and people apparently loved that part? I don’t even….

Rory Mercury was probably the only thing keeping me watching Gate to be perfectly honest. None of the other cast members are really all that interesting! For guys yeah Sunakawa was also great.

LOL! Yes all her freak out moments or misunderstandings of how humans work.

I sure hope so on Cavalry…

    • akagami says:

I feel you on Rokka no Yuusha. Just started watching Rokka no Yuusha (about halfway through today), and how it started and where it’s going halfway feel like two different products (started from “a journey to defeat the demon king” to “let’s guess who the (potential) traitor is”).

I can’t say I’m a fan of mystery, so that might be a good reason why, but I’m losing interest. Adding that it apparently has an open ending, and… meh. Demons look pretty plain and similar to the Aragami from God Eater.

That whole journey across the continent felt like filler. They could have done something with it, or skipped it altogether, but they decided to show it without adding any real value.

The powers seem interesting however, and the combat styles are different enough that I’m curious how they’ll fight together against the demon king… which this series isn’t about >.>
