Nice Kirika transformation. But I guess they’re gonna save Shirabe’s for later? Can’t do two in one episode? Or is the pettanko discrimination?
I hope they expands on Carol’s goals just a touch more as it seems that she’s a villain just to watch the world burn as revenge…interesting but they could do better. Still, love the alchemy. And Elfnein is in good company being a genderless homonculus.

Yeah I wondered the same thing about Shirabe as well, but I guess maybe next time or later on?
I assume that revenge goes back to the OP with her seeing those visions of the old witch hunts or she is from the past? Maybe we got some time travel, but IDK her motives seem 100% revenge based! Yeah whenever you are dealing with Alchemy there will always be Homonculus to worry about.

LOGOS: I really shouldn’t like this show that much. The set-up is just too loosey goosey. I like the idea of that Otherspace the vectors fight in, but the execution seem a bit more formulaic than most mecha gimmicks already are; cool ballets moves are a plus and a bonus, and shows that Karan actually has fun doing that.
And Karan is a great new character. Yeah, I may be just as biased as you, Fosh. But I like how they cut away that typical cute and bubbly exterior she had right away. Yeah, she was trying to make her mom happy, and they could have drug that out quite a bit, but they did it quick and easy.
But the show still has quite a bit to go to live up the the Aquarion ideal for me…

Story wise Aquarion is trying but for now it’s word/monster of the week which I don’t mind since I’m a fan of magical girls so the whole monster thing I can get behind easily! Then again I have my fingers crossed for side episodes that don’t involve a mecha fight…
Well I don’t think anyone would want a two or three episode “arc” based on Karan and her moms issues, but they could have made it a overall theme to cause character growth later on.
Sadly I don’t think LOGO’s is really trying to be like the others instead they are doing things way different, but all in all every season tries to do something creative with the Aquarion brand.
s1 = hardcore reincarnation theme
s2 = boys separated from girls and everyone has powers
s3 = word plots and modern setting

Logos: I still want to know why they couldn’t face the mastermind in real life and instead faces his monster of the week in some hyperspace using machines that must cost billions of dollars to make and repair.
I also want to know why Akira is that autistic with his savior spic. I’m indifferent to the loli.

Anyways, I’m still interested in Aquarion but it’s lacking the flair of the previous one. Let’s hope it develops a more solid plot rather than just a Word of the Week enemy.
Also, Ozawa Ari sure is around a lot nowadays. She’s come a long way since last year’s Nozaki-kun.

I have faith in LOGOs! I mean will it be as epic as the original or EVOL? Probably not since the team behind the music, script, designs and OP/ED is completely different and it is killing the fans of the original two seasons…
I am going to keep watching and reviewing it and the only time I ever dropped a mecha series was Muv-Luv, but I was able to stick with M3: Sono Kuroki Hagane, Captain Earth, Kenzen Robo Daimidaler, Shirogane no Ishi: Argevollen and Gundam Reconguista…

Symphogear GX – 03: Hibiki’s problem is basically what Maria describes. She’s had power for so long she’s become conceited and it looks like it’s cost her the right to transform. The girl better get over her own self imposed wall or it’s going to spell trouble.
For some life sized dolls, these are pretty vicious and this blue colored one looks to be a real sadist. That’s not a good sign.
