Yep as promised MechaNORN is back on Metanorn and I threw in Symphogear because why not? I’ve always thought to myself the transformations are more mechanical looking than what we normally see from classic magical girls series, but anyway instead of one long video I just decided to make two videos so you can just watch the one you are more interested in.

Symphogear: I like the new baddie, she looks to be a bit more interesting than Maria, who I never quite bought as a villain. And that alchemy is a great touch for a new power, puppets and all.
But man, finish the job girl, fight em on your terms, and don’t make those terms…when you’re up to full power. Get some Genre Savvy!

Yep 26 episodes and as far as GATTAI goes I don’t think were getting any of that like the past Aquarion where the characters react, but there are six main pilots so I assume we will see three pilots per mecha? At least I hope so because for now it’s just two machines forming one which isn’t as exciting.

I just picked up ep3 (and no, it’s not because of the LOLi) and… it’s flat for lack of description. The theme seems to be the power of words.
On the other hand, picked up the sousei no aquarion love OVA. At least Yunoha and Jin have a happy ending in another place and time. :3

LOGOS: Show feels a bit off, or a bit slow to get to a point. I really like all the parts, even the weird bad guy powers, but they just aren’t jelling for me yet. It was fun, as you say, but I guess I want the old EVOL attitude more. They did give it that nice single frame reference, like you posted, which was cool.

Yep I am hoping it gets better and with 26 episodes I have faith they will do something soon! Maybe the LOLi character can inject some much needed energy into it, but yeah currently it lacks the attitude of EVOL.

Symphogear GX – 02: Well this is certainly mixing things up. In the past two seasons, ancient technology was the fuel behind everything that made this show what it is, so alchemy is an out of the box move. Living life syphoning dolls? Carol has a frightening imagination.
I almost got trolled. After the battle from last season’s finale, I concluded in my mind that the Noise were dealt with so I was about to call it a cop-out when they showed up again. But they’re apparently a whole different breed called Arcanoise.
How the Arcanoise easy breached Tsubasa and Chris’ Symphogear was shocking. Gotta wonder how they’re going to fight back.
