A pretty good ending. Every thing was set to rights, everyone had a happy ending, Chiaya and her mom went home, though I have no idea why the professor didn’t go with them, but all in all, a complete ending.

I’m still somewhat reluctant to accept the ending as it seems more “written” than natural for the character.

Overall, The Rolling Girls was a pleasing, unexpected surprise of a series that happened to catch my on a whim due to my curiosity upon seeing the First Impression. After the opening, the over-the-top battles mixed gorgeous colors and scenery and not to mention the characters; it didn’t take much more to draw me in. For the Winter season, this was indeed one of the series I looked forward to every week.

An ending that’s sitting well enough with me. It is somewhat sad seeing that our cute motorcycling quartet has been reduced to a trio. Even though Chiaya is an alien, she’s spent her whole life on earth so it, in essence, made her a resident. Kind of a metaphor I picked up from “Man of Steel” when Superman’s father told him he’s as much a citizen of earth as he is of Krypton.

Aren’t you glad to see those First Impressions? Wonder what Spring will have in store, eh?

The ending felt, like I say above, “written”. And the bits with time travel felt not at all wibbley-wobbley/timey-wimey, as The Doctor would say. Just glued on…

But you can’t keep the spirit of the show down. Which will always garner my praise. I’ve got a Blue Hearts/Rolling Girls mp3 mix on my phone…great for any occasion…
