Petra’s death still pisses me off. And yeah, hair styles gives it all away. Except for Colossus…

I haven’t watched Space Bros since like episode 14.

Oh, yeah, there is Titan hate. Any popular series is going to attract it. I don’t mind honest “I don’t like this for this reason” but yeah, just like SAO it has it’s rabid, every episode haters..

Yay! FEBRI! A man-made LOLi. I mean, aren’t they all, really? Yeah, that guy in STUDY is such a tool.

Kyo didn’t like the AIM baby?! Wait until you see the horrors of the Magic side…

Yeah, Index II….Attack on Mediterranean with Ice Boats!

Flat is Justice…but then Saten is Justice. How to untangle this…

Accelerator gets his own manga, which means Last Order gets one as well. Keen.

Yeah Index movie was a bit bland.

    Good show, y’all. Thanks.

    • Foshizzel says:

Yeah for every popular series that is loved by everyone there will always be haters or “hipsters” that want to appear as “cool” for hating it a series at least thats what I think xD

Idex S2 has a lot of derp but it ties into the movie so freaking well! I realised that after watching the movie recently~

I am so freaking hype for that Accelerator manga! If it is anything like Railgun/Index the artwork will be fantastic, but also it has Last Order so double win <3

      Thanks for listening Skylion!

Any of you saw this yet?

Translation for the Accelerator manga preview. For good/bad, I guess we won’t see Sisters Arc: Accelerator.

Btw, Mikoto is now #1 at the Dengeki Raildex poll. I voted for Saten today and she at #19. Would prefer if other character won but I guess Mikoto winning is better than Hino Jinsaku winning.

Will you guys cover the movie btw?

        • Foshizzel says:

Oooooooh! Thanks D-Lan for sharing and dayum the artwork is fan freaking-tastic <3

Yeah I kind of figured Mikoto would be on top for best railgun character and Saten is popular, but not enough sadly...

Yeppers! Soonish for the Index movie so be on the lookout for that next~

          • d-LaN says:

If it make you feel better, Shokuhou Misaki went frm #10 to #9.

And I suspect tht those Misaka votes are spam votes….

I always feel like I’m carrying a banner for Titan hate, mostly cause I think it’s lazily written and directed for IMPACT!!!111!!! instead of being a story that makes sense or a show that is consistent and engaging. It feels like half the time I’m thinking “ok, let’s get on with it” and the other half I’m rolling my eyes. I’m’just not really impressed with sheer epicness.

But then, I know I have questionable taste compared to others. 🙂

      • skylion says:

No, you carry the banner for Pure Critical Downplay. I think we are talking about the inept rage on haters that hate it, as Fosh sez: To be hip about it.

For the record, it very lulzy at the best of time; I just ignore it. I like old Richard Thompson records, but I also dig Bon Jovi….and he is oh so EPIC!

I’m still emotional about Levi’s squad, the most elite soldiers, getting wasted like they were nothing. Just when I was beginning to like them, especially Petra. It’s like Attack on Titan forbids you to have any attachments to the characters because they all die randomly as if by a roll of the dice or flip of a coin.

Yeah, unfortunately there’s hate for the show. Sword Art Online had it, so did Zetsuen no Tempest, Magi and Shinsekai Yori. Even Psycho-Pass got the same treatment and they’re all popular animes. I find it impossible for anyone, absolutely anyone to hate this show. Every single episode has managed to deliver without disappointment. Not only that, you’re, in a way, able to feel what the characters are going through, like their moments of doubt and despair. It makes the viewer feel relieved that they’re not in that world going through all of that. When the anime ends, someone please tell me what chapter to continue from.

I’m not sure how I feel about the current episodes of Railgun S. I mean, the Sisters arc used 2/3 of the anime and it’s obvious why it had to be so. Misaka was really peered into when talked to Touma on the bridge. That was her golden moment being so emotional. Now we’re left with what seems to be random stuff and there isn’t much closure to what’s going on. The slice of life stuff is alright but there’s still much to be desired. It needs to go more into Febri and the group the created her along with their plan. Not to mention what happened to Shinobu since her capture.

News of Miyazaki’s retirement is sad to hear but it’s kind of expected. The guy has had a long run and deserves a rest. The favorite of his movies for me would be Princess Mononoke. Then there’s Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle.

Kyokai: Nice figure of Shiki, Kyo. She’s hot. Now I see why your avatar looks like her. I’m still getting into Type Moon stuff. Lead the way, boss lady!!!

    • Highway says:

Yeah, I guess there is a group of people who reflexively dislike things that get popular, and skip over defensible criticisms in favor of pejorative epithets. I think your list has quite the range of popularity tho. SAO was huge, but I really don’t think the audience for either Tempest, Magi, or Shin Sekai Yori was all that big. Tempest and SSY both sold extremely poorly, like under 1000 BD’s first week (from the information I can find). But I also don’t recall a lot of unfocused hating going on for any of those shows.

    • Foshizzel says:

Yep Psycho-Pass is so popular they got a second season and a movie! I guess it got love somewhere xD

      crazy

      • BlackBriar says:

I was already aware of a second season being in the works since July this year but hearing that there’s also a movie on the way made me grin from ear to ear. I wonder if being this excited makes me a latent criminal. Hahahaha!!
