Yoshino is ready for a vacation.
Time for another double post/video review for Date A Live and yes I have not forgotten about this series because it is entertaining to watch, I just found episode six to be quite dull for the most part, but episode seven was really great thanks to a new character joining the cast! I hope you enjoy my weekly video review as well~

Episode 6 was a good one. It was a nice break and offered some great humor. Liked how the sugar daddy was taken away by the black guys. First thought was… deliverance. However I liked how the AST commander flipped and just started blowing crap up, always makes it better when there is mindless destruction. I like her theory of, if I didn’t see it, then it can’t have been me. And the traps they had for the AST, that was excellence. This was a great episode and I would love to see more of these in the future.
Episode 7 introduced the Kurumi, which is interesting that this is one spirit that comes to you, and is ready to be taken by Shidou. However as per usual Tohka-chan made the episode with her statement about her iron levels. It will be interesting in seeing how the Kurumi situation plays out, especially since Mana killed her. And the argument between Mana and Kotori was gold. It was great seeing Kotori roundhouse Shidou. That made laugh heaps. Another good episode.

Episode 6 was a lot of fun! It took a break from all the drama of the spirit girls and focused on laughs and crazy stuff which I loved <3
Kurumi is a very interesting character even though she is your typical yandere-ish girl? I mean I was ALWAYS curious about her after seeing her appear in the opening and now we have Mana? Hmmmm I am curious about her character.

When you make tsun, it’s almost like you give yourself a license to print money. If anime characters are anything to gauge. But ounce for ounce, a tiny bit of yan goes a loooong way.
I think Shidou and Mana are part of the same experimental “batch”. And then someone did the Luke and Leia thing and they got separated.

Didn’t they return some of that screen time by putting her in the imouto fight scene? I’ve been reading that neither Yoshino nor Touka were present for that in the novels.

Episode 6 was so all over the place without any direction that I almost asked if this was still the same show. If it weren’t for the fact this was supposed to be a somewhat serious story, I might have enjoyed it on the same level as Haiyore! Nyaruko-san. Sadly, that wasn’t the case.
Episode 7 was relief after what a mess 6 turned out to be and gave us a surprise having a Spirit just walk up and announce what she is. And Kurumi didn’t beat around the bush about her tendencies. Her appearance alone gives away that she’s a psychopath but with such a dangerous allure, I can see why it would be hard to turn her down. I thought she was going to eat Origami as well. Other than Tohka, Kurumi might be my favorite character in this show.

I thought episode 6 was great for a laugh out loud episode and yeah it was close to Nyaruko-san levels in terms of hilarious stuff! I died when the bunny puppets head fell off? Poor Yoshino T______T
Episode 7 on the other hand introduced Kurumi! Who I love so much right now! Yeah she is 100% evil and full on Yandere who gives off extreme yuri vibes after seeing the pre-air of episode 8? I am with you BB she might become my favorite character <3

Kurumi is going to steal the show for me with her evil yet seductive attitude. One can say she’s the opposite of Tohka in every way even though she’s lusting for Shidou. A girl like that can beat a cute loli like Yoshino any day. Another thing about Kurumi, she has odd mannerisms. She ate those three guys whole with not a single drop of blood on her but the alley way is dyed in crimson.
I approve of that list. I have the girls placed in the same ranking with my own.

I’ll be honest, I don’t even think she’s that attractive. Too much hair piled up, a slasher smile, overly affected speaking manner, and that clock eye, what’s with that? As far as looks, she’s got nothing on Tohka or Origami for my tastes.

I can agree with that. It’s suitable. Her aura feels dark and can easily be compared to a crow or any other nocturnal animal if put into debate.
