I come from the Dungeons and Dragons gaming culture. I’ve played and I have Dungeon Mastered. If I had a powerful artifact like that, I would be sure to game the system enough that I didn’t need it for my powers to work. No worries if it gets stolen or broken; other than the sentimental value she obviously attaches to it.

I didn’t hear you mention the WORST GIFT EVER: Kurousagi’s enchanted skirt.
They’re really running a lot of different storylines through the show, which is surprising for a 10-ep show. And they’re keeping it pretty interesting, even though Izayoi is completely OP. Asuka makes the typical mistake of not telling the other folks on her team about the strange coincidence. I guess that fairy is the Idiot Fairy.

hahahahah I guess you could call it the worst gift, but I kind of enjoy the fact that Mondaiji does not rely 100% on fan service because we have series like Vividred/Senran for that.
I am going to assume there is a season two in the works! I think this first season was a test run, that or maybe they only had 10 episodes to work with? I have no idea. I mean sure Izayoi is so damn OP but he hardly does anything most that effects the story because most of the plot is progressed with the girls actually doing things in their world.

That being said, I like the relationships between the characters. This is some classic stuff going on. The Gift Games are ultimately for a single entity to win, yet they stand better chances of winning by being part of a team. This comes from the top down, as we see the tension between brother and sister dragons.
But yeah, loli beats.

Fans of Yuru Yuri should recognize the fox girl Riri as AKAAARIIN!! I thought the dragon girl was Akane from Vividred, but nope she is from Nichijou aka the EHHHHHHHHH! girl Annaka or SG550 from Upotte!

I’d be pissed off too if I was chasing Black Rabbit around like that without getting to see anything up her skirt. That gift’s messed up. That skirt Gift is an abomination and a high crime against fanservice. And that Shiroyasha. I don’t know what she got out of that deal to make the skirt for Black Rabbit but she deserves life behind bars.
Seeing Black Rabbit riled up was fun and interesting to watch. Apparently, she disregards all her manners in that state, like when she threw You at Shiroyasha. At least we know she can hold her own if she was challenged to a Gift Game and her strength and speed seems almost equal to Izoyoi. Their private game was entertaining. Even though her species are top aristocrats in Little Garden, it’s such a waste having her as just a referee.

KurokoShiroyasha has a lot of nerve blathering her thoughts out like that. She and Izayoi make a perfect team. Since it was her bath house, what are the odds she didn’t booby trap it with some kind of gift? But it was facepalm worthy when she transported everyone to the North side with ease. Two claps and they’ve arrived. I was like “What the hell?”.Leticia did a Mina Tepes impression with her transformation. Good to know she doesn’t have to be loli all the time. If only she could stay full grown more often because like that, she’s hot instead of cute. The definition of sexy. Judging from the appearance of her wings and the attack she did on the rats, she’s a shadow master and I get the feeling the creator of this show based her off of Nisemonogatari’s Shinobu.

If only that were possible but sadly we’re close to the end of the season. But next season is shaping up to be good with some interesting shows. 10 episodes doesn’t do this surprise anime any justice. It’s going to feel like Kore wa Zombie season 2 all over again.
