Hello dear readers! Hope you all enjoyed your Valentine’s Day with your special someone, or with a scrumptious box of chocolates as I undoubtedly did this year. Now for this Valentine’s Day, we decided to do an extra special post concerning the Metanorn team. Through a series of twitter spams and one epic Skype conversation that occurred earlier in the year, we came to ship ourselves with each other and formed seven sweet pairings with even sweeter ship names. Later we decided to expand on this idea and some of our lovely in-house writers came up with different scenarios. Let’s take a quick look into an alternate world where the writers of Metanorn find themselves in some lovey-dovey, and maybe not so lovely-dovey, romantic scenarios.~———————————————————————————
Karaga
One fine day, anaaga, a first-year student visits the Tea Club to submit her acceptance form only to face hurdle at the entrance, a strict voice brandishing no entry. On any normal day, she would have about-turned and left but as a condition of joining a club or fail her prelims (her GPA is that bad), she tries her hardest to enter. Success grants her an appalling scene of a tied-up senpai and the Club President in a very tricky position. The megane-glint of the President, Karakuri, scares her so much that she faints on the spot before screaming hentai. After coming to, she finds the President as her saviour to her chagrin, while no traces of the red-faced senpai remain. Later, anaaga gets accepted to the Tea Club and there’s no future mention of this peculiar event for a while but like moth to flame, anaaga’s curiosity gets the better of her. Slowly but surely, she unravels the many layers that makes up Karakuri. That megane-glint and cold nature gives out to a loving heart and something unknown yet adorable begins to bloom between them.

Joshizzle
Second year student, Foshizzel walks in to the library to search for a few books. One of them, titled ‘DONDAKE’, he can’t find, and another is on a shelf that’s just a little higher than his reach. As Fosh struggles, someone comes up closely behind him and grabs it down for him. Fosh turns around to discover a cool third-year student, Jrow, to his rescue. While Fosh gets flustered in thanking his senpai, Jrow notices the author of the book, Luffy, and expresses that he shares interest in “Eating is Love”. This makes Fosh open up about Dondake and it’s follow up Pandemonium-chan, which was already checked out. Luckily for Fosh, Jrow owns the books and invites him over. Little does he know, that Jrow is thinking about something other than reading. However, when things get heated, Fosh accidentally reveals his ultimate love for robots and the fact that he’s one. And yet Jrow is still inexplicably attracted…

lvlln and Hawthorne have been together for years. Since high school they have never been apart and they don’t plan on being ever. A simple brawl got them into detention trouble but it was as if only to bring them closer and fire up their chemistry. A point to be noted though, lvlln’s love for Hawth surpasses the safe boundary. From waking him up in the morning, cooking food, doing laundry, alerting for different project deadlines to stuffing him with different snacks to keep his health up, Lin, does it all and gladly so. From any other person’s perspective she was a glorified maid but she never saw herself that way. She loved Will with all his peculiarities, who could sit stock-still for hours thinking about a problem to frenzied programming bouts with his fingers almost disappearing into his holographic keyboard, while light-speed typing. Even being mostly clueless, one day Will recognizes the discrepancy and queries his own-invented AI Yurika, the brain of his robot Lin. Only to get an anomaly reply, “Cannot compute.” Will he solve this puzzle that goes beyond the human concept of feeling? Can this be called love?

Miyu is the resilient kouhai famous for her adventure of chasing after Kyokai. Starting from middle school to high, she has searched after and gone through many a traps, just to confess her feeling to Kyokai. The well-respected Students Council President and sought-after senpai, has many fans. Though, none can even compare to Miyu as she knows almost everything to know about her senpai. Even knowing that she runs a dangerous gang called Metanorn, branching to many members and parallel universes for shady business, and her favourite object being a knife, she never backed down. On the other hand for Kyokai, after tolerating many a confessions, it was time to finally put an end to this continuous barrage. However, on a snowy Valentine’s Day, Miyu resolves to give a 1000% fabulous max confession. Will love work its magic on the two of them?

While running because she is late for school, Hoshi takes a shortcut through an alleyway, only to accidentally crash into a gang of yakuza. She is quickly surrounded and the sleazy gang demand money for her trespassing on their turf. Just as things start to look really bad, the yakuza are taken by surprised by a girl wearing the same uniform as Hoshi. To her surprise, the mysterious girl beats them up without even breaking a sweat. Hoshi’s terrified and yet mesmerized at how strong her saviour is and recognizes her as Overcooled, the girl in her year who never attends class and has a reputation of a yankee. However, after being saved, Hoshi realizes that the story isn’t entirely true and falls head over heels at first sight. From there on, the two spend time together as Hoshi tries to help Overcooled get over her dark and violent past…

From her childhood, Ness was an outcast, moving in and out of different towns carried as luggage between her parents. Since she changed so many schools, she never got around making friends. However, on a fateful day, she met a wonderful boy her age by a lake. The two became the best of friends quickly, since they shared similar interests and soon went absolutely everywhere together. Ness was grateful that she was no longer alone and discovered a soulmate in one of the unlikeliest of places. Despite making other friends over the years, the one closest to her remained as her childhood friend. You see, over the years, Ness’s gratitude blossomed into love and there was no looking back. So what, if Ness was in love with her own reflection? She knew it. Ness knew Ness the best out of anyone else, and not even the fact that one of them wasn’t real couldn’t get in the way of true love.

Yosuga no Sora would be a annoying story of a total bitch sister without the ecchi. Sora was such a horrible person throughout that whole series. Bleh.
I have said before that I didn’t watch the last two episodes, because Sora ticked me off so much through the rest of the arcs. I’ve heard she’s more tolerable after she gets boned by Haru, but I still don’t know if I want to see Nao get hurt when Haru runs away with Sora.
