Hello Readers! I feel like I haven’t written such a post for a while, not to mention this dere. But yes, Happy Valentine’s day from the Meta team! Rather than celebrating just one day, we plan to make it special with a few posts throughout the week. I’m sure some would be pretty interesting.
On the matters of love, I wish all my team, aniblogger friends and readers/lurkers of Metanorn a truckload of good luck to find their special someone (including those special love confessions). And for those who have already found him/her, make it extra special for them. Not just because it’s a commercial event rather just to tell them you care, not only on this day but the rest of days/months/years you spent/will spend with them.

it hurts to admit it OTL).Plus, work is tiring.
Don’t let my negativity bother you people though. Enjoy the day if you have someone special in your hearts, or already have one. I’ll find mine someday. And it’s not like I’m unhappy with my life. I’m content with how things are at the moment.

There was a vampire loli in the Visual Novel Dracu-Riot! I don’t know if any of you guys played it, but unfortunately she’s not a heroine. She’s the mayor of the city! Unfortunately I couldn’t find an in-game screenshot, and I’m too lazy to find my file with the game in it lol
But the only heroine who’s a human, Mera, if you choose her route, she turns into a vampire :> Oh yeah, she’s a loli + shrine-maiden style clothing during work

I haven’t played the game but I have read the manga version of Dracu-Riot! up to chapter 6 and along with the loli vampire queen/mayor, it shares heavy similarities with Dance in the Vampire Bund (like the vampires, the island, the fact that the leader of the vampires came up with it, the fact that the vampires cannot leave the place and so on).
I don’t know why it’s like this but whenever there’s an indication of a vampire queen going around, 95% of the time it’s a loli. Sayo Aragami (Dracu-Riot!), Mina Tepes (Dance in the Vampire Bund), Sunako Kirishiki (Shiki), Seth Nightroad (Trinity Blood).

Oh, I don’t know if you vampire-liking guys have ever read these, but really the only vampire-focused books I’ve read are by Christopher Moore: Bloodsucking Fiends, You Suck, and Bite Me. They’re certainly not serious, and not amazingly canonical vampires, but the story is a lot of fun and an engaging read. I’d definitely recommend them (and anything else by Christopher Moore).

Anno Dracula is a very choice piece of work. Vlad takes over the Victorian Crown, everyone is a vampire, humans are cattle. Revolt, betrayal, blood, Vampire sticking to Victorian manners and etiquette. No lolis. Shame that.

It’s not odd to mention this. His 1976 book, Even Cowgirls Get the Blues could be an anime film. His style is very abstract and goes very much by the rule of cool and the rule of refuge in absurdity. And if SHAFT ever wanted to adapt a western novel, it could very well be one.

Gotta admit I’ve never read any of Tom Robbins. But Christopher Moore’s books would make excellent anime as well. The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove would be good. Fluke would be tremendous.
