Ku ku ku hello mortals! It is finally time for the best damn OVA of all time! Just kidding I know most people originally passed on this anime series because it really gets quite perverted thanks to characters like Rika running around; however that is half the fun right? So sit back and enjoy the crazy fun.

Laughing your ass off

Yozora-“What do you write about, Kodaka?”         Kodaka-“uh…”       Rika-“Hardcore BL stories about Yukimura!”

Kodaka-“OH HELL NO! STOP YOUR IMAGINATION RIGHT NOW!”          Rika-“Awwww but this is the best part.”

Yozora-“What about a rape scene with Sena?”       Kodaka-“What!?”     Sena-“HEY! DON’T YOU DARE, YOZORA!”

Comedy genre in anime is usually hit or miss with some fans out there because either the jokes don’t work or they end up relying heavily on slapstick or parodies ripped from popular anime. Recently Binbougami gai! wrapped up their series, which was filled with DBZ, Gundam, Rosario Vampire and Death note references, but is that really a bad thing? Anyone that travels around Metanorn or follows me on twitter knows I really love Gintama because it blends in just about every form of comedy from serious moments to episodes about monkeys that throw poop? Yea…I know bathroom humor…is so…uh terrible for some people! So what kinds of comedy anime do you prefer? Slapstick, parody, references or maybe sexual humor aka “Your chest is so flat!” “Your boobs are so huge!” or in the case of this OVA/bonus episode we follow Sena, Kodaka, Rika, Yukimura and Yozora talking about characters getting raped during their made up story and yeah I know rape isn’t really a thing you can simply make “jokes” around about, but I think whenever we hear a 2D character say such things in a comedy anime they spin it for more laughs than anything dramatic. A prime example for me would be Seitokai Yakuindomo because that series is basically one random sex joke after another, but they just make their short sex joke and then they move onto something else.

DAT plot development

Sena-“What you look totally sexy with those horns.”           Yozora-“I am going to kill you.”

Rika-“This is how Gundam AGE should have ended!”                  Kodaka-“I hate my fake life so much right now.”

As for the episode it was so hilarious! There is just something wacky and completely about the main cast of characters. Especially with Rika and Yozora I swear when you have those two girls together they display the awesome power of imagination, but most of the time it their special power leans towards the sexual side of life or maybe I should just say Rika wins the crown for her choice in humor? I mean her love of giant robots “fighting” makes me freaking laugh EVERY TIME! They even managed to squeeze in a UNIVERSE!!!! Quote. So which story did you enjoy the most from these insane characters? I think Kodaka had a great hero saves the day themed story, but I think each of them got super absorbed in the overall fun even though most of the episode followed Yozora and Sena fighting with that fly swatter as they smacked each other with it and of course what episode of Haganai is complete without the loli girls Kobato and Maria fighting over Kodaka’s attention?

Time for the best story of all time

That is not the only thing Rika feels burning! I mean her heart…or something…

 The main plot of this off the wall OVA was to create a simple chain story where one person starts and everyone else adds to the story. So here is a fun project I figured why not just mimic that here on Metanorn? And don’t worry if you feel like shifting the “genre” around after the first paragraph feel free to do so of course and let your powerful imagination take over, also you can throw in random anime characters from other series if your heart desires to do so.

Foshizzel the moe space Pirate~

ARE YOU PREPARED FOR THIS EPIC MECH SCENE? Oh wait Rika what are you doing with that laptop?

Deep in the darkness of space lived a space pirate named Foshizzel and he was headed towards a giant cargo ship filled with all kinds of loot. However, getting his ship to the actual location was proving to be a very difficult task thanks to his lazy crew. Want to know about his team? For starters he had to deal with a very childish scientist named Hakase, who was currently making some random modifications to her robot companion named Nano along with a strange cat named Sakamoto rather than focusing on fixing the electrical systems, which was left to weapon master Misaka, off on some side adventure. Aside from the scientist, there was the tactical team of Madoka and Marika who were obviously spending their time arguing over which of them had the most positive energy or was it about which of them was going to take over as the perfect captain if their current captain died in some horrible accident? Rounding off the final crew members was the ships cook Ika Musume and medical chief Cure Peace, but the two of them simply decided to play a few rounds of rock paper scissors together for the entire day! Also where the hell was the ships navigator Akarin? It seems she disappeared somehow… So, Captain Foshizzel decided to play some video games until everyone got back to their real jobs.

Kobato-“Ku ku ku! Mortal behold dat ass of mine.”       Kodaka-“NO! STOP THIS FANTASY AT ONCE!”

There really isn’t a whole lot to actually talk about at the end with this special because it felt like a random one shot thing; however it was refreshing to hear my favorite team of actors together once again. Part of me always forgot that Haganai had such an amazing cast of actors like Kana Hanazawa, Yuka Iguchi, Kanae Itou rounding off some of them, but every time I heard Marina Inoue and Misato Fukuen talk in this series my mind jumps back to their voice roles in Smile Precure as Cure March and Cure happy especially whenever Misato says the word happy in any sentence? Because after all she is really known for saying ultra-happy on Smile Precure! That said does anyone else out there find it funny how she tends to land lots of perverted-ish female roles? I mean she was recently in Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai as the busty Iria and she is set to star in To-LOVE-Ru Darkness as Yami in the fall anime season. So yeah this OVA that was a really fun trip down memory lane for me because I absolutely loved the first season thanks to cast of great characters and yes there was even a bit of romance thrown in at the end between Yozora, Sena and Kodaka. I personally hope things pick up in that department for the epic second season in January! MY BODY IS READY NOW AND I CAN’T WAIT!
