First Impression – Chitose Get You!

Welcome to world of pedophilia. We have cookies for those who vote for METANORN in ABT Semi-finals.

Here’s that pedo show we’re all SOOO EXCITED about…. Here goes nothing *sigh*

Ok, turned out it’s not a pedo show because everything is based on Chitose’s PoV. Good. Not that it makes this show any better, but at least there’s no trace of pedophilia here. In fact, this two-minute anime turned out to be pretty amusing because how close it is to reality.

*insert Akira’s “OH MY GOD”*

Close to reality? Yup, I just said that. But how? Well, Chitose’s character is a representation of childhood crush. I don’t know if this applies to everyone, but I’m sure most of us used to have this crush on a much older person when we were just little kids. And I’m pretty certain those crushes happened because the older figures looked so reliable, right (Speaking about childhood crushes, I had one. And it’s an embarrassing one…)? Well, that’s what Chitose is all about. Somehow, thanks to her twisting the little puppy incident, Chitose ends up liking Hirose-sensei (or whatever his name is) and thinks of her own female homeroom teacher as her rival. Of course, Hirose wants nothing to do with her, and the female homeroom teacher just wants Chitose to stop skipping classes. But that doesn’t really matter, since it’s all about Chitose’s delusion. Yup, that’s what this anime is all about.  So yeah, no pedophilia involved. WOHOO!

I guess Chitose didn’t really listen to the priest in church

Unfortunately, one episode is enough for me. The animation’s quality is below average, and it’s giving me eye cancer. It’s cute how SILVER LINK is trying to animate a little kid’s way of thinking (I have to admit, Chitose is pretty creative. Her imaginations are pretty wild), but it’s just not my thing. And since I’m a corrupted young adult, I can never see it as a non-pedophilia show. I mean, what if Hirose ends up liking Chitose too? ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

COME ON, VOTE  VOTE VOTE.

I tip my hat to you Anaaga for braving Chitose till the end and even writing up on it.

  2. Kyokai says:

I’m glad its not about lolicons. >.>

  3. Justin says:

I can say we are just one a few people that watched the show, realized it’s semi-safe, but still thought it was pretty boring anyways. Three minutes of our life we’ll never get back 😀

  4. Ying says:

I watched it and pretty much agree. I’m happy it’s not what I thought it was going to be but I didn’t like it regardless.

  5. HannoX says:

I watched it and was happy to see it’s not really a pedo show, but yeah, one episode is enough.

That last screenshot of the ED, couldn’t help but think of Hanamaru cuz of the styling there and those Hiiragi like eyes on the left. but its def nowhere near Hanamaru

Yeah, I wouldn’t say bad, but I wouldn’t say good either… pretty much “meh”

    ………Should I watch this?

    • Kyokai says:

      It’s funny and short. :3

    • HannoX says:

Since it’s short you don’t lose much by trying one episode. But as you can see most commments, including mine, say it’s not worth more than giving it a one episode try.

  8. Namika says:

Well, at least this wasn’t as painful as I had expected. It kinda reminds me of Hanamaru Youchien, where a little girl has a crush on her homeroom teacher. Thank god it was short though xDD I’m not quite welcoming bloody tears or eye cancer.

It’s like “Kill Me Baby!” + “Kodomo no Jikan” – not too bad, but not too good either. I’ll use this anime to recover from the depression that is the 4th Holy Grail War. XD
